Chapter Sixty-Eight.
Aito arrived hole and stepped out the train with a long breath.
Aito: "Back yet again."
Aito could hear people around him breathing that's how heightened his senses are.
Aito: "Let's go meet my opponent."
Aito said having a press conference at 1pm and its 12:57am.
Later Aito walks in and Sits down as the Press conference floods and fans and students sit in their seats.
Aito sits at a table across from his opponent Maverick Steele.
Aito: "(So that's my opponent?)"
Aito wonders as he reads the card name.
Press: "Aito we have a question. First you seem very exhausted. How's training?"
They asked as Aito thought for a second.
Aito: "It's definitely harder then before... but. Yeah it's treating me well and I'm excited to show you guys tonight."
Aito said as Maverick scoffs.
Maverick: "Ask me something."
He said as the press shifted focus to him.
Press: "Maverick do you think you'll will rookie of the year?"
They asked to which Maverick laughed.
Maverick: "One hundred percent. I'm 17-0-0. And have a KO rate of one hundred. All those in Round one. If he escapes and survives until Round two I'm sure I'll beat him down there."
Maverick said testing Aito's patience which isn't big.
Press: "Aito what's up with that Black robe like coat?"
They asked Aito.
Aito: "It's a gift from some friends back home."
Toruu bites his finger drawing blood as he knows that type of Robe from anywhere.
Press: "Aito did you know you two are fighting 6 rounds? Whoever wins this will be going up to C-2. And whoever wins the tournament goes up to C-1."
They said intriguing then both.
Maverick: "I'll send Aito to the mat in round one."
He said kicking his feet up on the desk.
Aito: "And I'm sending you straight to Hell."
Aito said as the everyone stood shocked.
Maverick: "What?"
He mumbled.
Aito: "Your power doesn't mean crap to me."
Aito said as they looked at Aito this isn't making him look any better especially to organization Equinox back home.
Press: "and how will you do that Aito?"
They asked to which Aito answered coldly.
Aito: "I'm gonna do what I wanna do."
Aito said as the press got excited about this Trash talk between these two.
Maverick stands and grabs his mic.
Maverick: "You're going down in the first round!"
He yells to Aito and Aito stands up angry too.
Aito: "You're a dead Man!"
Aito said as officers step in to separate the two.
A bit later they bring in the weight scale.
Aito steps on first.
Official: "130! In limit!"
Aito spreads his arms like wings then steps off and walks to the side.
Maverick walks onto the Scale next.
Official: "130! In limit!"
Maverick flexed his Lats are huge.
Aito: "(Reminds me of Daigo.)"
Aito said getting flash backs of Daigo.
They have 8 hours until the fight to regain nutrients and warm up.
Aito was walking down a hall when Vexara teleported beside him.
Vexara: "We all seen the press conference back home!"
Aito: "Did I do good?"
He asked to which she grinned mischievously.
Vexara: "You were so cool!"
Vexara said hugging him.
Aito: "Thanks. Wanna go grab food?"
Aito asked as he pulled out his school credit card.
Vexara: "Oh? Is this a date?"
She asked as Aito waved his hands.
Aito: "N-no! No! Just a friendly gesture. Trust me."
Aito said as she giggled.
Vexara: "Alright then..."
She said as they walked to the cafeteria.
Aito: "I'm a bit on a budget after my last DQ loss..."
Aito said as she nodded and sat down across from him.
Students: "who's that girl?"
They whispered among themselves.
Students: "She's so big. She's bigger then out heavyweights she must be almost 7 feet tall."
They said sizing her up.
Students: "and she's wearing the same robe as Aito is he in a cult?"
They speculate.
Vexara orders 10 huge steaks.
Aito: "Are you gonna eat all that?"
Vexara: "hmm? No I'm not eating the veggies."
She said scraping them all onto a plate and passed them to Aito.
Vexara: "mmh. Time to dig in!"
She said as she started devouring her steaks.
Aito: "Won't You're stomach hurt?"
Aito asked as she kept eating.
Kixmiyo: "Aito."
Aito jumps as she was standing right behind him.
Kixmiyo: "We have news about Toruu. He's in the establishment."
