Chapter 328 - Mister Fantastic Destroyed Asgard, Kang the Conqueror Was a Good Guy!

The diary also mentioned something else.

After being captured by the Ultimate Team in Norway, Hammer Bro once again clashed with them.

The direct cause of the battle was the death of his beloved!

Although the diary didn't go into detail, Ultimate Tony could easily guess what had happened.

Loki must have framed the Ultimate Team for Valkyrie's death, just as he had framed Captain America for the murder of Hawkeye's family and Black Widow.

This was the only way to enrage Thor and provoke another battle.

But that raised a question:

In this plan, Hela imprisoning Thor in Valhalla was a crucial step.

Does that mean Hela was also a pawn of Loki?

Or perhaps she was his accomplice?

If that were the case, things would be far more complicated.

After all, Hela was a formidable figure in Norse mythology—the renowned Goddess of Death!

In legends, she ruled the Underworld and was also the goddess of aging and disease.

Of course,

Having witnessed Thor's very real experience, Ultimate Tony understood that these beings' true identities likely differed from the myths.

For instance, the diary mentioned Hela controlling Valhalla, not the Underworld.

Yet even so, Hela had trapped Thor on her territory, forcing him to agree to her terms before releasing him.

Undoubtedly, Thor was no match for Hela!

Even with deviations from the myths, Hela remained a supreme power—that was an undeniable fact.

The thought of it made Ultimate Tony's headache worsen, as if his brain were being twisted into knots.

Still, in the end, we have to blame Mister Fantastic Reed for this mess. Who else destroyed Asgard?

Remember, the original Reed was already god-like. After a thousand years of evolution, just the thought is terrifying.

Even a divine realm like Asgard couldn't withstand its Children of Tomorrow.

Not only were all the inhabitants of the Celestial Palace slaughtered, but even the World Tree was destroyed, leaving only Thor and his father!

Worse, after Asgard's destruction, Thor was once again reduced to a mortal!

Poor Thor, even in another universe, he couldn't escape the fate of Asgard's destruction.

Destroy Asgard?

Are you kidding me?!

The Thor of Universe 199999 frowned deeply, his brow furrowing like a withered chrysanthemum in late autumn.

Just who owes whom in Asgard?

Why does everyone keep trying to destroy it?

Could Ragnarok truly be Asgard's unavoidable destiny?

In his own universe, Thor had willingly unleashed the Fire Giants to deal with Hela, which ultimately led to Asgard's destruction.

In another universe, Hela's identity had changed. She was still the mother of his child, so she shouldn't have been so antagonistic.

Yet this outcome remained unchanged!

Even without Hela as an enemy, Asgard was still destroyed by someone else.

And the destroyer was none other than Mister Fantastic Reed!

Thor was no stranger to this man; his diary had mentioned him before.

In Universe 838, Dark Wanda had used Dreamwalking to kill him outright.

Moreover, Reed also existed in his own universe, though he wasn't Mister Fantastic.

Still, this Reed had provided crucial assistance to everyone. For one thing, he was largely responsible for Vision's creation.

He could be considered a Super Hero.

How could such a man have destroyed Asgard in the neighboring universe?

Why would Reed attack Asgard?

And the fact that Reed had undergone a thousand years of evolution only left Thor more bewildered and confused.

Could the Reed in that other universe not be human?

Otherwise, how could he have lived for a thousand years?

No, the word "evolution" didn't feel right. Even if humans lived for a thousand years, they wouldn't just evolve randomly, would they?

Take his father, Great Thor, for example. He's lived for fifteen hundred years, yet he still looks exactly the same.

Not a shred of evolution in sight.

Of course, after fifteen hundred years of warfare, Thor's strength had indeed grown far beyond its original state.

But clearly, the "evolution" mentioned in the diary wasn't this natural progression, was it?

So what was going on with Reed?

"Children of Tomorrow."

This phrase immediately caught Thor's attention.

From the name alone, Thor couldn't tell if it referred to an individual or an organization.

However, since they had slaughtered all of Asgard, Thor instinctively felt it must be an organization.

If a single person could accomplish such a feat, they would be monstrously powerful.

Even his father, Odin, at his peak, couldn't have done such a thing.

Let alone destroy the World Tree!

What was Reed's true goal?

Though Asgard was at the heart of the World Tree, the tree connected all Nine Realms.

Destroying it would have catastrophic consequences for all Nine Realms, a devastating blow.

What was Reed's true purpose?

Why would he do such a thing?

Yet Thor immediately understood why his other self would target Earth.

*Most likely to get revenge on Reed, right?*

The diary had stated that this could entirely be blamed on Reed.

But what about the fact that his other self became mortal after Asgard's destruction?

Could it be that his divine power was somehow connected to Asgard?

As if his divine power originated from Asgard itself!

"What has Reed done now?!"

Ultimate Tony of Universe 1610 was completely speechless.

It was as if he had truly come to know Reed for the first time.

In Ultimate Tony's memory, Reed was merely a low-key yet talented young man.

But after the diary's spoilers, Ultimate Tony finally realized he had underestimated him.

This man was far more brilliant than he had imagined—his genius had even shocked Ultimate Tony.

As for the destruction of Asgard, Ultimate Tony couldn't comment without knowing the full context.

But... Reed had actually lived for a thousand years?

*What a joke!*

Yes, Ultimate Tony admitted that Reed was indeed a genius, a world-class super-scientist.

But could he really defy the limits of human lifespan?

Living for a thousand years... how did he manage it?

Is this truly something human technology could achieve?

As far as Ultimate Tony knew, countless organizations, both official and unofficial, had poured immense resources and time into trying to replicate Captain America's serum.

Yet none had ever succeeded.

Though technology had advanced considerably, our understanding of the human body remained woefully inadequate.

Even the world's only Captain America, despite living over a hundred years, had merely aged more slowly.

At best, his lifespan would extend to two or three centuries— nowhere near a thousand years.

That Reed... he truly defied expectations.

No, the real culprit should be the Planet Eater!

If not for his threat, Kang the Conqueror wouldn't have traveled back in time to find Reed.

Reed wouldn't have caused all this trouble and become such a major villain.

This universe is truly cursed, being targeted by the Planet Eater again and again.

If I remember correctly, the Planet Eater's first arrival should be soon, right?

It's a shame the Vision ship that flew to Earth to warn it was destroyed, crashing in Tunguska.

Haha, the legendary Tunguska Event was actually caused by Vision!

The Planet Eater!

Tony of Universe 199999's expression immediately turned grim. He was no stranger to the Planet Eater; the diary had mentioned him several times. This guy was one of the Five Great Primordial Gods!

Although clues suggested this Primordial God wasn't as formidable as he seemed—he'd even been shrunk by Cable using Pym Particles, proving he could be dealt with.

Still, he was a Primordial God! A being capable of devouring planets!

Whether the Planet Eater would devour Earth in *his* universe remained unknown, as the diary hadn't mentioned it. So, the playboy instinctively assumed it wouldn't happen.

But now, in Universe 1610, the Planet Eater had actually set his sights on Earth!

This instantly filled Tony with boundless worry for that other universe.

A being of this caliber... could even the most powerful Super Heroes hope to stand against him?

Even the most supreme and godlike beings!

Tony figured that unless he could gather all the Infinity Stones, he couldn't think of any other way to solve this.

This neighboring universe had truly run into a catastrophic problem.

"Kang the Conqueror?"

As he read further, that familiar name reappeared, startling Tony once more.

So, Reed's destruction of Asgard was somehow connected to Kang the Conqueror?

The journal had mentioned Kang traveling back in time.

Could it be that Reed's actions were meant to alter the future?

Furthermore, the journal stated that Kang had found Reed because of the threat of the Planet Eater.

This implied that Reed's creation of the Children of Tomorrow and his destruction of Asgard were all measures to counter the Planet Eater?

What was going on here?

It was a complete mess.

Tony tried to untangle the threads into a clear, logical narrative.

But unfortunately, due to the lack of information, he failed.

The only conclusion he could draw was that Kang the Conqueror was behind Reed's actions, and it was all related to the Planet Eater.

That was it!

From the clues he'd pieced together so far, it seemed that in this universe, Kang the Conqueror wasn't the villain, but a hero!

The playboy couldn't help but chuckle.

*Universe 838... what a fascinating place.*

*The Super Heroes and Super Villains are so different from my own universe!*

But as Tony marveled at this, he was quickly provoked again.

*What the hell?!*

*The Planet Eater targeting Earth in Universe 838 is one thing, but it's happened multiple times?!*

*The Daily Summary was right—this universe is just too tragic!*

*How did they even provoke a being like the Planet Eater?*

*To have him "visit" their Earth again and again!*

*And if it's happened multiple times...*

*Then the logical conclusion is obvious.*

*The Planet Eater was defeated the previous times he tried to devour Earth!*

*Otherwise, how could he have kept coming back?*

*Looks like the Super Heroes of Universe 838 are pretty formidable after all.*

*There's just one thing...*

*The Vision of Universe 838 seems completely different from the one in my universe.*

*The Vision in my universe was jointly created by numerous Super Heroes and Ultron...*

*Well, at least in the original timeline.*

*But in Universe 838, it looks like he's an alien?*

With all this talk of flying to Earth and spaceships, it must be true, right?

But what kind of alien is this Vision, anyway? How did he know in advance that the Planet Eater would "visit" Earth, and even warn us about it?

"Planet Eater?"

The Ultimate Tony of Universe 1610, just like the Tony next door, was utterly shocked. Even seeing the name "Galactus" struck a nerve.

"Good heavens, that's just a nickname, right?"

*There's no way this guy can actually devour planets, is there?*

Ultimate Tony instinctively refused to believe such a preposterous and terrifying existence could exist in the world.

Even gods couldn't devour planets!

This wasn't just absurd; it was *super* absurd.

Still, even so, the Planet Eater was clearly no ordinary foe.

The fact that Kang the Conqueror traveled back in time to confront him proved that.

Though Ultimate Tony didn't know the exact relationship between Kang the Conqueror and the Planet Eater, it was obvious Kang's time-traveling was meant to deal with the Planet Eater, wasn't it?

Kang the Conqueror's ability to travel through time proved he was no ordinary man.

But why had he approached Reed?

Could it be that they knew each other?

Ultimate Tony fell into deep thought, but couldn't reach any firm conclusions for quite some time.

The same applied to Vision.

Beyond the fact that he was an alien, Ultimate Tony couldn't draw any further conclusions.

"The Tunguska Event?"

"So this was the truth behind the Tunguska Event!"

Soon, a look of astonishment spread across Ultimate Tony's face.

He was naturally aware of the Tunguska Event, the world-renowned "unsolved mystery."

Since that earth-shattering explosion in 1908, the scientific community had conducted countless studies.

Various theories emerged—meteorite impact, antimatter, ice body, comet collision, and more—but none provided a definitive answer.

Ultimate Tony never imagined that this alien named Vision was responsible for it all.
