It is rather confusing, you know? When a three-meter-tall woman picks you up and lets you sit on her lap while she feeds you all kinds of fruits. What makes matters worse, I still need to make sure the others do not fight among themselves while she is feeding me.
Don't get me wrong, it is great and all, but the stare and glare the humans give toward us start to get to me. I know they are glaring at the Goddess feeding me, but the intensity of their glares makes me uncomfortable.
If not for my words, I know the Sisters of Battle will already be firing their Bolters and Flamers at Isha.
Speaking of Isha, I look up and say.
"What are you guys doing from now on?"
"Hmmm?~"
I can hear her words, but I do not understand them; it is because of her Psychic power that I can understand what she is saying.
"The war is over. Shouldn't all of you return to your planets or something?"
"I want to ask for your help, of course~."
"My help? What for?"
"We need your authority over souls, Savior. My children's souls need your help. She Who Thirst holds over the dominion of my children's souls. Give us this salvation, O Savior, and we shall be forever indebted to you."
"Ah."
I take out my necklace and clutch it. I take a deep breath and push a small bit of my energy into the stone. I can feel it vibrate, and after a few seconds, its energy expands, continuing to grow until it reaches the edge of the galaxy.
I can feel something attempting to block the influence of the Soul Stone, but the Soul Stone ignores it. This attempt is too weak to block the influence of a primordial force. I reach even the Immaterium, and after a few seconds, I can feel the energy stop inside a massive figure.
I grunt a little at the feeling coming from the massive figure. It is so sickly sweet, but it cannot mask the smell of rotting behind it. I can feel Isha's hands touch my head and feel something covering me.
I open my eyes and give a nod to Isha. She is helping me. It looks like Slaneesh is attempting to manipulate me. Even though the Chaos God cannot block the power of the Soul Stone, he can influence me, or at least attempt to.
'Urgh. That thing is disgusting.'
Ddraig is there to help me against him. Even if he cannot fight Slaneesh, he is enough to let me know that someone is trying to influence me. I give him a thank you and push forward. When I feel something connected, I declare.
"I deny you! I deny your power over reality! I deny your existence! No longer can you pray upon the souls of the living! No matter if they are humans! Eldars! Your influence upon reality shall be gone! Begone, Parasite!"
Something explodes within me, and the Soul Stone responds to my will. Even though there is no warp portal in here, I can hear a roar in the distance. It is the roar of anger before something beautiful happens.
Because I am still connected to the Soul Stone, I can see the souls coming out into Realspace and flying toward Isha, who greets them gently like a mother greets their wayward children who have been away for a long time.
I can see tears roll down her cheeks as she performs something I don't recognize. What I can see is that the souls gather in her palm and disappear into her. I don't think she absorbs them, because I can see that her power isn't increasing; it's actually going down slightly.
It is annoying not to have a Psychic-based power because I cannot see what is going on, but at the same time, it is a dangerous power when used in this universe. I don't want to be corrupted at the beginning of my journey because of that kind of power, and for that, I am grateful.
It does not last long before the entire souls disappear into her, but the scream is still happening. I blink for a second when I hear a laugh, a cold and sinister laugh in the distance. Isha makes a gesture, and the laugh slowly fades away.
Is that who I think he is? He is the Clown God of the Eldar, right? Cegorach, the only Eldar God who still roams around. I can hear Isha say something I don't understand. What I only know is that it sounds like a bell chiming. It is rather beautiful and pleasant to my ears.
However, she stops and looks up to the sky. I follow her gaze and see a VTOL entering the atmosphere. Man, even from here, I can feel power rolling from the VTOL like a tsunami. I know that is the Big E. How? Well, the bloody thing is shining golden. It is like seeing a miniature sun descending.
When it lands not too far away from me, I can feel Isha putting her hands around me like a protective mother. I ignore the softness of her breast on my head and instead focus on the guests. As the VTOL opens, I see three giants walk out, accompanied by a group of more giants. These giants are smaller than the three, but they are still taller than any normal humans.
The tallest one of them is the Big E himself, and standing on his right is Big Bobby G, and the one standing on his left is someone who is rather famous because he is the embodiment of Mongol in Space, he is the Great Khan, Jaghatai Khan.
With those three walking together, I think the dozen Custodes are rather redundant. Especially when the Big E decides to flare his psychic power for some reason. I look at Isha and immediately know the reason for his show of force. He is the most xenophobic person in the history of humanity, and now a person who claims to be a divine being is also a xeno race.
Isha has two of the most hated things Big E ever hates.
He looks at me for a second and smiles. The golden aura around him parted away for a second to allow me to see his face. He is handsome, I must admit, but not that handsome that I would turn Gay or something like many fanfics and forums suggest.
He is unlike the Eldar race in that they are so beautiful that they turn around and become eerie. Take Isha, for example, she looks like Eldar, but her beauty is cranked by ten times. It makes her seem artificial to some degree, given how beautiful she is.
"It's been a long time, old friend."
The Emperor greets with a warm voice. I feel warm and inviting with a hint of melancholy and regret.
"I want to talk to you just like old times. However, there is something we need to do first."
He looks at Isha with a frown, and I can immediately hear a swift voice in his voice when he talks to Isha.
"We need to talk, Xeno."
