The long journey back took about fifteen minutes, as they walked step by step while chatting along the way.
Red sighed. "Uncle… I feel very tired…"
(He looked exhausted and weak.)
"Alright, son. Here, I'll carry you. Just close your eyes," Uncle Star said.
"Why do I have to close my eyes, Uncle?" Red asked weakly.
"I've followed your instructions, handsome son," Uncle Star replied calmly.
"Ah… okay, Uncle," Red muttered.
Uncle Star then whispered softly,
*"Cum vi lucis, permitte mihi uti vi…"*
In an instant, a faint starlight-like aura surrounded them, and they seemed to move like a flash across the path. The journey that usually took fifteen minutes was reduced to only five minutes, and they arrived at Uncle Star's residence almost instantly. (It should be noted that Uncle Star's powers had certain limitations.)
When they stood in front of the courtyard, Red slowly opened his eyes only to be shocked.
"Uncle… wh-what… Why did we arrive so fast?!" Red stammered.
"Hahaha… hey, kid, you were probably asleep so soundly that you didn't notice," Uncle Star said with a laugh. "Don't worry about how we got here so quickly. You'll understand later. Come on, you need to rest now. Let's go inside first, and Uncle will cook the best dish in the world, hahaha…"
"Okay… Uncle," Red replied weakly, still exhausted.
In the end, Uncle Star and Red safely arrived at the house, where Uncle Star prepared to serve his best meal.
But what truly happened to Red that made him so tired?
