Chapter 87 - 87. Sugar Man

Boom!

A terrifying noise reverberated through the sealed mine.

Moss was caught off guard and was instantly blown away by the "Thunder Wave," tumbling against the wall.

Alan stood up and flicked his fingers.

Swish!

A "Finger Wave" whistled towards Moss.

Moss rolled on the ground, avoiding the wave and holding onto the stone wall to his feet.

He turned to look at Alan, his rat-like eyes filled with resentment.

After being attacked, he immediately activated his atavism, transforming into a rat-man form.

The rat-man form's greatest advantage is its increased speed!

Alan fired two more finger waves, but Moss dodged both.

Judging from his agility, this guy's agility couldn't be lower than 21 points.

"Squeak! Boy, you woke up at the wrong time."

Moss, dodging Allen's attacks, still managed a sneer and taunt.

"If you'd just stayed still, you'd have suffered less."

"I'll give you one last chance. Hand over the Plague God statue!"

"What a lousy statue! It's not even on me!"

Alan suddenly unleashed Hound Step and lunged at Moss!

The Plague Warlock calmly twisted around, slipping past Allen like a slippery loach.

Standing with his back to the pit wall, a sneer on his face.

Alan frowned slightly.

Since learning Hound Step, this was the second time he'd been defeated in agility.

The first time was during the martial arts school entrance exam, where he'd been outmaneuvered by his senior sister, Tanya.

That wasn't a big deal, since Tanya was also proficient in Hound Step.

The second time was right now.

Facts have proven that when the Agility gap between the enemy and ours is too great, even using Hound Stride won't give us an advantage.

"I gave you a chance, and if you don't cherish it, don't blame me for killing you!"

Moss suddenly flicked his robe sleeve, and a golden light erupted from his body!

The hem of his cloak bulged, and a squeaking scream echoed.

Instantly, dozens of rats emerged from beneath him.

Initially normal-sized, they were irradiated by the golden divine light and instantly mutated into ferocious giant rats!

"Gnaw off that brat's limbs and spare his life. I'm useful!"

"Don't touch the sorceress!"

"Two ogres, eat as much as you want!"

Moss gave orders to the rats through telepathy.

Faced with the aggressive swarm of giant rats, Alan remained unfazed.

He also had several hidden cards in his hand. It was time to draw one and show Moss some color!

Alan drew two points of magic power and began to cast a spell.

At the same time, a bone spur quietly emerged from the palm of his left hand.

The venom glands in his body were working at full speed, synthesizing the Level 4 toxin "Hanging Pollen" as the material for the Level 0 "Poison Spray" spell.

"Lóké!"

Alan softly chanted the spell symbolizing "virus."

Calmly raising his right hand.

He sprayed a large cloud of golden powder at the madly charging rats!

Instantly, the rats were enveloped in the Hanging Pollen.

Inhaling the tiny pollen, the giant rat immediately fell into hallucinations.

Every living thing in his sight, including his own kind, looked so hideous that he wished he could kill them all! Driven by hallucinations, the giant rats began to slaughter each other.

Moss was shocked and enraged by this bizarre situation.

He desperately tried to maintain his focus, telepathically communicating with the rats and calming them down.

However, his mental soothing was too weak compared to the potent hallucinogenic toxin.

The giant rats went berserk, ignoring Moss's soothing efforts. Instead, they turned and bared their teeth, attacking him.

Moss finally realized that something was wrong and fled.

However, as he turned, he was blocked by a mountain of flesh.

Big Head, club in hand, guarded the mine exit, his face etched with rage.

"Rat-headed man! Take my club!"

The club whistled down on his head.

Moss hurriedly dodged!

At the same moment, a wave of force shot from behind. Attacked from both sides, even with his agility, he had no way to dodge.

Bang!

The finger wave blasted Moss's back, creating a bloody hole.

The immense inertia forced him to stumble forward.

Just in time for the blow.

Puff!

Moss's skull was shattered by the club!

His brain burst, and he collapsed to the ground.

Alan stepped forward to search him.

He pulled out a large bag of magic stones from Moss's body.

Nearly a hundred pieces, probably from the mines.

All confiscated!

With Moss's death, the giant rats collectively degenerated, returning to normal-sized rats, still haunted by the hallucinations.

They were still biting each other, their eyes red.

Across the mine, Jenny discovered Moss was dead, her heart sinking. She quickly transformed back into human form.

Not even bothering to put on her clothes, she ran naked towards the tunnel exit.

A tall, imposing figure suddenly blocked her path.

"Junior Brother Allen, please! Let me go!"

Jenny quickly knelt, her pretty face a pitiful expression.

"As long as you forgive me, I'll do anything!"

As she pleaded, her breasts shook with a conscious effort.

She knelt closer to Allen, trying to grab her legs and rub against him.

Allen, expressionless, suddenly launched a flying kick.

Jenny fell backwards from the kick.

The poisoned knife hidden in his palm clanked to the ground.

Big Mouth, covered in grease and water, chased after him in a rage. He grabbed Jenny's ankle and lifted her upside down.

"Sly girl! I'm going to eat you!"

Jenny was so frightened by the ogre's ferocious face that she nearly lost control of her bladder.

In her despair, Alan's voice suddenly reached her ears.

"Wait!"

"Huh?!" Big Mouth turned to look at Alan, his face darkening. "Pretty boy! You want to back out?"

Alan shook his head and smiled.

"Eat it straight, it's tasteless."

"Pretty boy, let me do a magic trick."

"Turn this woman and the recently deceased rat-headed man into candy figurines. They'll taste even better."

Hearing these words...

The flicker of hope that had just risen in Jenny's heart was instantly extinguished.

Big Mouth's anger turned to joy, and he grinned broadly.

"Great! As expected of a handsome guy, you're so thoughtful!"

According to the agreement with the ogre brothers, Alan used his "seasoning technique" to cook the dead Moss and the half-dead Jenny into a honey-flavored mess, while also looting their storage bags.

Jenny continued to cry for help.

Alan ignored her.

He had no mercy for this vicious woman.

Abandoning Jenny, Alan said goodbye to the ogre brothers and went out to search for his lost companions.

In the mine behind him, Jenny's screams abruptly ceased.

An unusually strong smell of syrup drifted over on the wind.

About an hour later.

Alan's figure reappeared outside the mine.

He looked panicked, occasionally glancing back.

Behind him, more than ten meters away.

Andy, with his fiery red hair and a murderous look on his face, pursued him relentlessly.

"Brother Allen, it's no use shouting in this desolate wilderness!"

"Hand over the Evil God statue, and I'll spare your life!"

"Otherwise, I'll kill you and search your corpse for the Evil God statue—wouldn't that be the same?"

"I don't even have the Evil God statue!"

Alan said without turning back.

"Brother Allen, if you chase me again, I won't be polite!"

"Haha... You might not be very skilled, but you're quite arrogant!"

Andy taunted Allen like a cat playing with a mouse.

"I want to see how you can be 'impolite' to me!"

Andy and Allen, one chasing the other, gradually went deeper into the mine.

Alan, familiar with the route, headed straight for the ogre brothers' residence.

Andy chased after him, the distance between them slowly closing.

A smile grew on Andy's face.

The winding, complex tunnel ultimately had an end.

When Alan reached a dead end, with nowhere else to go, hehe...

Andy licked his lips, a cruel look in his eyes.

"Alan Panthers, I will show you what cruelty is!"
