Reaching Kandor took longer than expected, the planet was exactly as described in the information: a large mass covered in clouds and constant magnetic storms. The sensors failed to analyze everything except the high levels of radiation and magnetic currents.
An ordinary person would die quickly on that planet, even weaker Supers could have problems. To enter safely, you needed to be at least a Grade C Super.
In any case, the problem with magnetism was so great that even landing on the planet could be difficult, potentially frying the ship's components just by trying to pass through the charged atmosphere. Therefore, they needed to use specially designed landing modules. As for how to get out? They didn't have the technology for that, so they would need teleportation scrolls.
-Alright, let's go.- said Black Spider, entering his capsule, a white oval-shaped cabin two meters high and half a meter wide with only one window where his face should be.
Trax barely fit and had to crouch down, causing the tigerman to growl in irritation. Rick, on the other hand, seemed excited about the trip. Only the three of them would go down, there was no point in sending anyone else. If needed, Black Spider could create clones when he got there, plus he was carrying a space bag he'd bought, making the loading process much easier.
This thing was incredibly expensive, but it had the space of a basketball court, plus it wasn't limited to wizards, which made it even more expensive.
As soon as the capsules were sealed, Trax, who looked like a sardine, wouldn't stop growling in irritation. Black Spider almost wanted to use a teleportation scroll to bring him down, but in the end he decided it would be a good experience for Trax.
The next moment, glass tubes descended, isolating the capsules from the ship while some clones operated the system, then the opening below the capsules opened and the capsules were ejected all at once, straight to Kandor.
Black Spider watched through the small glass window as the capsules accelerated rapidly. Fortunately, they were of good quality, so when they entered the atmosphere, the tremors were minimal. Gravity pulled them down faster and faster. The capsules' electronic devices were malfunctioning, but thankfully they weren't purely technological.
As soon as the flaws were detected, magical runes lit up above the capsules, using vector-type magic to slow the capsules' acceleration as they fell. They were also held together, preventing the group from separating as they fell.
When they hit the ground, the impact was light, the magical stabilizers still working, but on the other hand, three craters almost five meters in diameter formed, kicking up dirt everywhere.
Finally, the capsules opened with a sound of decompression and a smooth slide.
Trax was the first to run out, looking at the capsule with evident irritation. Black Spider came out, looking at him, he felt that if it weren't for shame, the tigerman would already be smashing the capsule to pieces.
-I hate this thing!- He said with a low growl.
-Yes, yes, next time I'll buy bigger capsules.- Black Spider shrugged and looked at Rick, who hadn't left the capsule but seemed comfortable inside, almost taking a nap. He was drunk enough for that, so Black Spider sighed, went over to him and used evolutionary energy to cure his dizziness.
The moment the dizziness passed, Rick looked around, a little confused, but seeing the remnants of white energy still on him, his lips trembled as he said. -I already told you not to do that!
For Rick, getting drunk was a pleasure, being taken away from it made him very unhappy.
Black Spider rolled his eyes at the idiot and started looking around. Rick sighed, then left, stretching. -Are we there yet?
Trax rolled his eyes and joined Black Spider, looking at the planet with curiosity.
The gravity was indeed much greater than the galactic standard, but due to constant training, even Rick wasn't too bothered, he just felt slower, as if he had returned to the gravity chamber.
The radiation, on the other hand, was evident, but the levels were still far below the standard for Ringo. Trax and Rick, however, felt a slight burning sensation, which bothered them.
Black Spider's thoughts quickly turned to the Xenomorphs.
This planet seemed perfect for them to proliferate... but this planet already has its owners, so he gave up after a brief thought, it wasn't worth it. There were too many groups eyeing this planet and he didn't want to expose the Xenomorphs so soon.
The surrounding environment had green plants, but there were many fluorescent plants, even the ground he walked on had grass that glowed when touched. He approached a plant that looked like a fern and touched it. The plant glowed exactly where he touched it, like a pen where his finger passed, but it quickly stopped glowing after he removed his finger.
He managed to see some birds that looked more reptilian than the ones he was used to, with scales instead of feathers and wings that resembled bats.
Shaking his head, he picked up a device given to him by the Godorian emissary. It felt armored and heavy in his hand, reminiscent of the early stages of technological advancement. Unlike the flat screens of the future, it was clearly enchanted with runes, glowing faintly, likely preventing the components from burning out in this hostile environment.
Turning on the device, a green radar light came on, showing the radar's current position, but nothing was around, there was no Maktru ore nearby.
-"This thing is probably bugged, unfortunately I'm not a mechanic, the upside is I'll use my future vision to find Maktru, so what if it's bugged? Can they see into the future?" - Black Spider gave a slight smile as he thought.
-Let's go, I'm just going to store these capsules.- He said to Trax, who was looking curiously around, and Rick, who had already pulled a canteen from God knows where and was happily drinking from it.
He no longer needed the capsules, but for skilled mages, the capsules could point directly at them, so he wouldn't leave such an object out in the open, the capsules were compact, so they fit easily into his storage.
The pair looked at each other and quickly followed Black Spider into the forest.
