"What's going on here?" Xu Mumu walked over as Madam Chen had already picked up the little one.
"It's nothing, just tripped over a stone," Madam Chen said helplessly. The little guy had been chasing the two dogs everywhere and didn't pay attention to where he was running. He came near the flower bed and tripped over a stone without noticing.
"Fengfeng, would you like sister to hold you?" Xu Mumu said gently, reaching out to hold the little one.
"No need, I'll carry him. Do you want to go back and rest for a bit? You guys got back so late last night," Madam Chen said sympathetically, looking at Xu Mumu, whose eyes were still dark with fatigue.
"I can't sleep now, and I have to go to the neighbor's place later this afternoon to handle my stuff," Xu Mumu said with a smile.
Hearing Xu Mumu's words, Madam Chen felt even more sympathy. If her granddaughter had to be this tired every day, she certainly wouldn't have let her come over to the Imperial City to study.
