A boy who never believed in love either— because he thought it didn’t exist. But something between them… was never planned. Never simple. And definitely not easy to ignore. Chapter 1 - Part 1: Not Like Them

Pixel had never hugged a boy in her life.

Not once.

In a college where relationships were normal, where people changed partners like it meant nothing—

she was different.

She didn't date.Didn't flirt.Didn't even try.

And that alone…

was enough for people to notice her.

Some found it strange. Some laughed about it.

And some—

turned it into a joke.

"Try making her fall for you."

A sentence often said for fun.A challenge passed around like entertainment.

Pixel ignored all of it.

Not because it didn't affect her—but because she had learned not to react.

She came from a lower middle-class family, where life was simple… but rules were not.

She believed in love.

But in her world—only arranged marriages were allowed.

So she never let herself feel anything.

Never crossed that line.

Never opened her heart.

Studies were her focus.

Not by choice…but because it was the only way forward.

And somehow—

in all of this—

she became someone people couldn't understand.

And then there was him.

Stephan.

Tall. Rich. Untouchable.

The kind of boy everyone noticed—but no one truly knew.

Girls tried to get close to him.

But he never gave anyone a chance.

Because to him—

love didn't exist.

And people like her…

didn't make sense.

He was in the same class as Pixel.

And yet…

they had never spoken.

Not once.

But that was about to change.

Not because they wanted to—

but because sometimes, one moment is enough…

to turn two completely separate livesinto something neither of them expected.

And when that moment comes—

it doesn't ask for permission.
