Regarding the crafting recipes, there are some modifications, just a heads-up.
"Strictly speaking, I only teach you the knowledge about the alchemy cauldron from this entire field of study, and at most, the Alchemy Golem. I haven't taught you anything more than that, mainly because this knowledge is too dangerous for a bunch of Little Wizardss like you to handle," Kayson said, patting the huge black pillar of the infusion altar.
"Uh… how dangerous can it be?" the Weasley Twins asked, posing a very pointed question.
"At best, it explodes; at worst, it contaminates a portion of the terrain. I'll start by showing you how to build a basic infusion altar," Kayson said, leading the Weasley Twins out of the glass hut, as if he had only brought them there to give them a glimpse.
"First, your wands need an upgrade," Kayson said, pulling out his Rose Vine Staff. Unlike a regular wand, its tip was metal, as was its base, and that was it.
"How do we do that?" the Twins asked.
"Don't worry, I'll teach you from scratch. You are, in a true sense, Little Wizardss who are learning real things in the field of Mystic Era, though this subject is indeed much more dangerous than other types of magic."
"For example, if Transfiguration fails, only you or a few people very close to you get hurt. But with higher-level applications of Mystic Era, if you fail, the destruction is a large-scale contamination that cannot be repaired, only destroyed."
"Your personalities are very erratic, which isn't good…" Kayson paused here, causing the Weasley Twins to frown.
"But correspondingly, you are also very responsible. I believe you wouldn't stand by and let the whole world bear the consequences of your mistakes," Kayson said, turning the conversation around, which made the Weasley Twins' brows rise again.
"Professor, let's begin!" Both Twins nodded seriously. If at first they only wanted to learn some serious skills from Kayson to carry out their plan to take a leave of absence.
But after hearing Kayson's sincere and clumsy words, they suddenly felt that learning a new skill well was also good, just like learning a new spell.
That feeling was full of joy and satisfaction.
"First, you need a special workbench, an Arcane Workbench. Do you know how to make one? Did I tell you? Oh, of course I didn't tell you, because the Arcane Workbench is the second step. The first step is still your staff. Bring that workbench over here."
Kayson said excitedly. How long had it been since he felt such teaching passion? He immediately pointed at the nearby workbench, his face flushed and agitated.
Soon, the Weasley Twins brought the workbench over.
"Any workbench you use is fine, you can even use your own hands to craft, but my Alchemy Workbench is much more convenient than crafting by hand," Kayson stood in front of the workbench, facing the Weasley Twins and said, "Either of you, grab your wand."
George pulled out his own wand.
"Do you see these nine slots? Put your wand in the very middle slot," Kayson said.
George nodded and placed his wand in the very middle slot.
"The best thing about an Alchemy Workbench is that you don't need to do it yourself; it's truly about making your wishes come true," Kayson quickly created another workbench beside the first one in the blink of an eye. On it, he arranged iron nuggets in the shape of a inverted U on the nine-grid, and in the next moment, two iron wand tips were instantly created.
Then he placed the two wand tips on the two diagonal corners of the workbench's nine-grid.
"Now, take out the hammer hanging underneath, and smash!" Kayson said excitedly.
"Smash?" Just moments ago, George and Fred had witnessed Kayson's most unadorned yet bizarrely magical Alchemy. Both were still bewildered when Kayson's shout snapped them out of it.
"Yes! Smash!" Kayson nodded.
"Alright," George picked up the hammer and slammed it onto the nine-grid on the workbench.
With a bang!
George's wand and the two iron nuggets instantly merged into a staff.
He picked up the staff, waved it casually, and the magic still flowed smoothly.
At this point, he slowly looked up at the approachable Alchemy Professor in front of him.
If he had seen this move from Kayson in his first or third year, he might have thought it was nothing special, just a basic operation.
But now, after studying Alchemy with Professor Kayson for so long, their Alchemy had reached a stage where they could join the Alchemist Association and write their own papers.
And it was only at this stage that they truly understood just how incredibly awesome this Alchemy Professor, who was like a friend to them, truly was!
If they hadn't studied Alchemy, viewing Professor Kayson would have been like looking at the moon in the water.
But having studied Alchemy, viewing Professor Kayson was like a mayfly seeing the bright sun and clear sky.
"Now, use your Transfiguration to try and transform this workbench!" Kayson watched George truly create a staff by himself, his face excited as he pounded the workbench in front of him.
If his MC knowledge before was just his own, or even a few people's, joyous secret, but after the arrival of the "I Think So" power, after Cedric added a mechanical arm to himself with his own strength!
When his colleagues in the Alchemist Association created workbenches and redstone engines based on his papers!
And now, the Weasley Twins had even created a Mystic Era staff by themselves!
He saw hope! Perhaps he could popularize the power of MC to every corner of the world!
He looked fanatically at George's hand as he brandished the staff. The moment the workbench touched the tip of the staff, it suddenly changed form, instantly transforming into the appearance of dark mahogany topped with green silk.
"It's done! My student has done it!"
George and Fred both took a step back in surprise, clearly a bit… unnervingly afraid of Kayson in this state.
Kayson, however, embraced the Twins, excitedly saying, "It's normal that you don't understand the shock of this scene. After all, you've only studied Alchemy for a few days, so of course you can't see the splendor and shock within it!"
"Professor, Professor, we can see that shock in you too!"
"But, Professor, don't you think your strength… is a bit much?!"
The Weasley Twins struggled and shouted.
"Oh, oh… George succeeded, this time, Fred, you go!" Kayson quickly regained his composure, adjusted his monocle, and said.
