That evening, in the town of Tilsoul, Henry stood awkwardly at the corner of the table as Anita prepared dinner. He had offered to help, but his attempts only seemed to make things more difficult. Every time he reached for something, he either picked up the wrong item or placed it somewhere Anita did not want it, earning a sharp look or an irritated sigh from her. After a while, he wisely stepped aside and watched in silence while Anita and Violet finished setting the table.
Once everything was ready, they took their seats, and Violet turned toward him.
"Come and join us, Your Highness."
"Of course," Henry replied.
He walked over, pulled out a chair and carefully lowered himself into it. His gaze settled on the small table before him. He wasn't accustomed to meals like this. In fact, he couldn't remember the last time he had eaten in such a modest setting.
