Chapter 186 - The Court of Laws and Order

The world…changed.

Not gradually.

Not gently.

Absolutely.

The moment Rayon Veynar stepped through the tear in space—

Reality itself restructured.

No stars.

No void.

Only—

Order.

The God Realm.

A plane beyond even places like Tiamat.

A realm that did not rely on raw power—

But on something far more rigid.

Laws.

Order.

The process of existence itself.

Where everything had a place.

A function.

A rule.

And those who broke it…

Were erased.

A massive hall stretched endlessly.

White.

Gold.

Columns that pierced into infinity.

Floors that reflected existence like a mirror.

Every step echoed—

Not in sound—

But in authority.

Immortals stood on either side—

Divine beings.

Celestials.

Law-bound entities.

All watching.

All judging.

At the center—

A throne.

And on it—

Sat the ruler of this realm.

Jaidis

Majestic.

Still.

Unshaken.

Green eyes sharp as truth.

Black hair falling over white and gold robes.

He didn't need to speak.

His presence alone—

Commanded order.

Arrival

A distortion appeared.

And from it—

Stepped three figures.

Erethon

Nyk

And then—

A third presence.

Not yet visible—

But already felt.

Erethon stretched slightly—

Looking around.

"…It's been a while since I came here."

The court shifted.

Eyes narrowed.

Tension rose.

Jaidis spoke.

"…Insanity."

"…Why are you before me?"

A pause.

"…Didn't you get banned from the Heavenly Court?"

Nyk blinked.

"…Damn bro…"

He looked at Erethon.

"…It was that bad?"

Erethon shrugged casually.

"…I just slaughtered a few people."

Silence.

"…I don't see the problem."

The court stirred.

Jaidis leaned slightly forward.

"…You don't see the problem?"

His voice remained calm—

But heavier.

"…You destroyed a small star…"

"…Because it was too peaceful."

"…And you were bored."

Nyk slowly turned his head toward Erethon.

"…You wild for that."

Erethon smirked.

"…That was back then…"

"…Before that man sealed the Primordials."

Footsteps echoed.

Slow.

Measured.

Every immortal turned.

And for the first time—

Silence became absolute.

Because he had arrived.

Rayon Veynar

Jaidis' gaze met his.

"…Darkness."

"…What do I owe this visit?"

Rayon didn't waste time.

"…Why did you send Omega…"

"…For my children?"

The temperature of the hall dropped.

"…And the funny thing is…"

His eyes narrowed slightly.

"…I know you know it's me."

"…So why proceed?"

Jaidis exhaled quietly.

Then—

He answered.

"…Since you left the Upper Realms…"

"…5000 years ago…"

"…You missed a few things."

He leaned back slightly.

"…A war broke out."

"…Samrok… and Judith."

The names alone—

Carried weight.

"…It created a great separation."

"…Because Light and Darkness were nowhere to be found."

Rayon said nothing.

Listening.

"…It escalated."

"…So much…"

"…That the Constellations interfered."

A pause.

"…Not the main ones."

"…A project."

His eyes sharpened.

"…A secret one."

"…The Great Ones… and Ra."

Rayon's expression shifted slightly.

"…Zodiac."

Jaidis continued.

"…Twelve entities."

"…Aries."

"…Taurus."

"…Gemini."

"…Cancer."

"…Leo."

"…Virgo."

"…Libra."

"…Scorpio."

"…Sagittarius."

"…Capricorn."

"…Aquarius."

"…Pisces."

"…Each capable of controlling portions of the Upper Realms."

Nyk whistled low.

"…Yeah…"

"…That sounds like real problems."

Jaidis didn't stop.

"…They sent a wildcard."

"…To end the war."

"…Gemini."

"…Sebastian Savage."

The court shifted again.

"…A strategist."

"…A manipulator."

"…An illusionist."

"…And a fighter."

"…It took both Samrok and Judith…"

"…To make him try."

"…And they still lost."

Nyk grinned.

"…Now THAT…"

"…Is what I'm talking about."

Rayon's gaze sharpened.

"…Get to the point."

"…What does that have to do with my children?"

Jaidis leaned forward.

Elbows on knees.

Hands folded.

"…Ra."

Silence.

"…He's gathering Demi-gods."

"…Across universes."

"…Training them…"

"…As the next generation of Constellations."

Rayon's aura darkened slightly.

"…Without asking."

"…Without permission."

"…Just taking."

A pause.

"…And he found two…"

"…In a lower realm."

"…Averis."

Nyk clicked his tongue.

"…Figures."

Jaidis continued.

"…He bribed Omega."

"…To retrieve them."

"…Before he came personally."

Rayon's voice dropped.

"…And you allowed it."

Jaidis didn't deny it.

"…I did."

The court tensed.

"…Because I knew…"

"…You would come."

A pause.

"…And now you're here."

Rayon stared at him.

Then—

A faint smile appeared.

"…So that was your move."

"…You wanted me here."

Rayon walked forward—

Past the court.

Past the immortals.

Straight to the throne.

Then—

He sat.

Beside Jaidis.

Like it was normal.

Like it always had been.

The entire court erupted in murmurs.

"…He dares—"

"…Beside the Emperor?!"

"…Who is—"

"Silence."

One immortal spoke.

Voice trembling.

"…You don't know who that is."

They froze.

"…5000 years ago…"

His voice dropped.

"…He wasn't called Monarch."

"…He wasn't called Primordial."

A pause.

"…He was called—"

"The Dark Emperor."

Silence fell again.

Absolute.

Rayon leaned back slightly.

Relaxed.

"…No matter the timeline…"

"…You never cease to amaze me…"

He glanced sideways.

"…Jaidis."

The Immortal Emperor laughed.

Deep.

"…I know what I should."

"…And I avoid what I shouldn't."

Rayon smirked.

"…Smart."

A pause.

His eyes darkened slightly.

"…Now…"

"…Let's talk about these Zodiacs."
