Everything happened so sudden. Derrick knew the vehicle was going to hit the car from the side Sabrina was sitting so he quickly undid his seatbelt and moved his body forward. He hugged Sabrina before the vehicle hit their car and it flew.
Sabrina didn't see clearly what happened exactly. She only knew that Derrick had shielded her with his body. He held unto her tightly inside the car. When the car finally summersaulted and turned up with its wheels upside down, she saw blood dripping down her face.
"Derrick, Derrick, wake up…'' Sabrina's legs were trapped under the seat with Derrick's body. The last thing she heard before passing out was Derrick's voice.
"Go and find Adam. Tell him it's not your fault and it's not his fault too.''
Sabrina vaguely saw the ambulance arriving as she lost consciousness.
