Chapter 250: Demons All Out Attacks 4
In a ruined place with a makeshift river and a destroyed landscape, Aka-Bo and the surviving members of the Red Flounder race returned to the surface with pale expressions. Behind them, trapped within large water bubbles, were allies from native tribes and the White Star Radiance Alliance. Aka-Bo took count of their losses and cursed in irritation. How the hell were they supposed to defend themselves against so many powerful experts at once, not to mention a Late Stage Mortal Lord?
Aka-Bo only felt relieved when he confirmed that the demons had not chased them too far. He sighed as everyone gathered together, filled with defeat and discouragement. Just as he was about to speak, he noticed the distant image of the massive being covered in white lightning and flames. His heart jolted.
He looked toward the sect as hesitation flickered across his expression before he sighed.
"We have to head to the sect. We have a much higher chance of dealing with those demons there." Aka-Bo said through gritted teeth.
Everyone nodded after checking their wounds. Moments later, they sped off into the distance.
…
Damorca and the Daemonorcs, along with various allied experts, repelled the demons in this region with tired expressions. For a while now they had sensed the great commotion happening at the sect's grounds. Uneasy looks had already appeared on most of their faces. The Umankans under Obinna and Obianuju's leadership had arrived as reinforcements days ago, and they too were surprised.
Obianuju had just awakened from her meditative state after communicating with Obioma through the spirit communication art. A grim expression settled on her face as she addressed everyone.
"We have to return to the sect immediately. An army of powerful demons has made its way there and is attacking the sect." She said.
"Haaaah?! How is this possible?! Damnit!" Damorca shouted, his face pale, before the massive blazing figure wrapped in white lightning and flames appeared far in the distance, shocking everyone present.
"…That was… Let's return to the sect asap!" Damorca ordered. His face grew even paler as everyone nodded and charged toward the sect.
…
Similarly, those stationed near the Serpent Sharks and the Fishmen had repelled their enemies and swiftly moved toward the sect. The Star-Eyed division and the Red Flounder race gnashed their teeth in disbelief and dread after gaining an idea of what was happening.
"That was definitely a mirage of one of my manly heroes of destiny, Sect Master Solman! We can't let those demons get away with their sinful behavior!!" Lady Silvia shouted, her Aka Boshi No Tengan shining fiercely.
Gwarola forced a laugh with a scrunched-up face as he nodded. "Right. Let's go crush those damned demons…"
On the Fishmen's side, they had already begun rushing toward the sect after hearing that the Red Flounder race had failed to repel the enemy and suffered a heavy defeat. The Soloman division led by Rija advanced alongside a smaller group led by an arrogant princess-like woman around eighteen years old.
"Tch. What a bunch of disgraceful trash. To think that those slaves of our Soloman clan could not stop those demons." The arrogant lady said coldly.
Rija glanced at her with annoyance. "You cannot just say that, especially since the enemies are extremely powerful. Can't you sense the Late Stage Mortal Lord's aura from here?"
"That is their problem then." The woman replied with a frosty attitude. This woman was one of the granddaughters Amora Soloman had spoken of during the meeting half a year ago. Her name was Amoria Soloman.
The Fishman leader, Longar, cut in with a tired expression. "It does not matter. We only have to focus on disposing of the bastards who attacked our sect."
Both Amoria and Rija exchanged looks before turning their attention toward the White Star Radiance Sect. They sped away in Magical Aircrafts with serious expressions. Amoria took a brief glance behind her at the massive mystical mirage figure wrapped in white flames and lightning. A faint look of intrigue and even anticipation flashed in her gaze, though she hid it well.
…
Many groups of experts from the White Star Radiance Alliance who had been positioned outside the main base rapidly returned, shocked and furious. The surprise attack of the demonic alliance had been completely unexpected. Figures from the Echoing Longbi tribe swarmed in, crashing through demon experts who roared with killing intent.
Upon seeing the massive image of the blue starry sword-bearing mirage wrapped in white lightning and flames, cheers erupted. Shouts for Sect Master Solman and the White Star Lightning Sage filled the air. As storms of wind crashed down and piercing beams of burning dark light swept across the lands from multiple points in the sky, a massive 6 Winged Serpent Demonic appeared faintly, coiled around the arm of the flaming figure.
"T-That!! Isn't that the 6 Winged Serpent Demonic Beast from the Forbidden Zone!?" A demonic cultivator shouted in disbelief, drawing even more attention.
The top demonic beast leaders under Orochicanda launched their powerful ambushes at that exact moment, unleashing deadly assaults particularly aimed at Mortal Lord demon experts. Their timing was so precise that the attack became incredibly effective. The demonic beasts roared in unison as they transformed into their true disastrous forms.
Suddenly, a strange voice echoed across the battlefield, as if chanting, crashing down upon everyone present.
"Submit to the White Star Sage. Bow to the Divine Eyed Goddess. Despair before the Black Devil. Perish before the 6 Winged Calamity Dragon!"
The voice grew louder and more intense, grating and fear-inducing to the point that no one—ally or enemy—could ignore it.
Ramiro wore an annoyed expression as his spear pierced through a demonic cultivator. "You damned bastard. This is definitely that serpent's doing. He could have at least said something like 'Exalt the Dragon Spear Hero' or something!"
Seralily, who appeared beside him with bloody injuries but a fierce smile, giggled. "Hehehe, well he has been an unexpectedly great help on the battlefield, so let's not get too angry at him, Rami."
Ramiro shrugged in reluctant agreement.
…
Back at the White Star Radiance Sect, a shocking scene unfolded that no one had expected. The large breach in the barrier was evident, and destruction had engulfed that area of the sect. Experts from both sides lay slain, and those still standing bore heavy injuries.
The Late Stage Mortal Lord Demon wore a grim expression as he was pushed back, his sword held defensively while he watched the figure before him. "...So there was an expert like you in this place after all."
A tall, brawny man with a massive heavy sword covered in bloody inscriptions stood before him. His long, tangled hair fell past his shoulders, and faint scars could be seen above the armor on his chest. His aura was no less powerful than a Late Stage Mortal Lord's. This man was none other than Boorme Soloman.
"You've caused far too much of a ruckus here, so I'm going to have to expel you now. Hmm, I will let the Sect Master deal with the rest of this." Boorme said in a casual tone, causing everyone around to feel a mixture of alarm and confusion.
"Heh. I'd like to see how you—!!!" Before the Late Stage Demon Lord could finish speaking, he felt an overwhelming pressure smash toward him as the heavy sword swept horizontally at his chest.
The demon tried to dodge and defend, but he was struck cleanly and sent flying far into the distance, outside the sect. Boorme's body glowed with white and red light, his majestic aura erupting as he moved with explosive speed toward the demon's landing point.
Everyone was completely flabbergasted by what had just happened.
"W-What's happening?!" A demon shrieked in disbelief.
"Hahahahaha!!! What's happening, you say? The hell do you idiots think you're doing in this Sage's sect, touching this Sage's pawns, and harming this Sage's women?! Haah?" A wildly arrogant voice, dripping with disdain, echoed across the battlefield. Everyone jerked their heads around, searching frantically for the speaker.
Christy trembled in pain, her face tightening. "No… Why is it this guy again? Why can't it be Gege..!?"
"Chris? Eh? That voice sounds a lot like…" Jonovan appeared beside her with a doubtful expression.
The fanged elf royal stood stiffly, a discomforted look on his face as a strange familiarity washed over him. The two crimson-eyed experts nearby shared mixed, knowing expressions.
"Ohh!! Brother Elly! Ehh… Is it the other Brother Elly?" Shayleaf said with excitement before muttering in mild dissatisfaction.
The demons looked around with gritted teeth.
"What's this? You trash are not going to respond to this Sage?" the voice taunted. As it spoke, a shockingly fast beam of light shaped like a small sharp spear pierced cleanly through the heart of a demon who never saw it coming.
"Ah… Ah!" The demon collapsed.
"Tch! I found him! How dare you!" An Early Stage Mortal Lord demon erupted in fury as he prepared to charge, only for six beams of light to streak toward him. He tried to defend but was overwhelmed.
The demon was blasted backward, six holes burned through his body, each filled with crackling electrical current.
At that moment, an enormous surge of essence energy came storming in from the distance, swallowing a four-mile radius in one sweep as a tremendous amount of energy accumulated in one spot. Everyone was completely stunned.
"What's happening!?!" a fanged elf cried out in alarm. Many others echoed the same fear.
Shayleaf watched with wide-eyed amazement. "Brother Elly is breaking through? His breakthrough is far larger than mine though… Amazing!"
Due to the violent energy currents stirring the winds, almost no one heard her except a select few.
The radius of the energy absorption expanded rapidly, rising from two miles to four, then from four to seven, creating a massive commotion that could be felt from even farther away.
The four subdivisions of allied experts—mixed with the Serpent Sharks, Daemonorcs, Red Flounders, and Fishmen—were left completely shocked. Even a trace of horror mixed with disbelief rose in their chests. The sect was right before them, yet they could not fathom what was happening within it.
