"Hoo—"
Ragnaros said nothing and swung the Hand of Ragnaros.
He saw that Gale hadn't used the Ancient Ice Coffin and wanted to strike first. If he could finish off Gale with one blow, that would be even better.
Unfortunately, his dreams were beautiful, but reality was harsh.
Aggramars Shield blocked his killing blow, and towering flames swept across the entire Sulfuron Keep. Even the Fire Elementals, covered in flames, felt intensely hot.
Gale's legs were sunk into the ground; from this, Aggramars Shield was inferior to the Vibranium Shield.
The eternal spear was aimed at Ragnaros, and the Rainbow Bridge pierced through his body.
Ragnaros was injured and staggered back two steps, forced to withdraw the Hand of Ragnaros.
Gale regained his freedom, put Aggramars Shield on his arm, and then took out the Ancient Ice Coffin.
Ragnaros's expression changed drastically, and he forcefully raised the Hand of Ragnaros, attacking Gale again.
Gale activated the Ancient Ice Coffin, and endless coldness filled the entire Sulfuron Keep. The surrounding Fire Elementals were instantly frozen, and Ragnaros's lower body also solidified into ice.
The Hand of Ragnaros smashed down, and Gale flashed away. The giant hammer struck the solid ice, releasing a large amount of flames, melting the ice.
Seeing the Hand of Ragnaros enter the water, Gale immediately threw the eternal spear, embedding it in Ragnaros's hand. Ragnaros was a bit confused; did Gale want this spear to pin his hand? Didn't he know that elementals were spirits and wouldn't be restricted by physical attacks?
Gale, of course, knew; he threw the eternal spear merely to free up his hands.
"Snap!"
A snap of his fingers sounded, and the flames immediately vanished. The recently melted water once again turned into solid ice, freezing the Hand of Ragnaros to the ground.
Ragnaros's face changed dramatically, and he pulled hard on the Hand of Ragnaros.
Gale gave him no such chance; the Ancient Ice Coffin released cold air again, freezing Ragnaros.
Ragnaros quickly mobilized the Fire Elementals of the Fire Source Land to melt the ice, helping him regain his freedom.
In the Fire Source Land, his power was fully enhanced.
Although he had been disarmed by Gale, Ragnaros believed he still had the strength to fight. He waved his hand, summoning a gust of wind. The wind, carrying flames, rushed towards Gale, instantly forming a fiery storm.
Gale raised his hand, and without even snapping his fingers, the power of the Reality Gem dissipated the energy of the fiery storm.
Ragnaros's expression changed drastically. He never expected that in the Firelands, Gale's power had not only not weakened but had grown stronger.
"This... impossible..."
Gale raised the Ancient Ice Coffin, and countless ice spears rained down from the sky, instantly engulfing Ragnaros. The ice spears not only pierced his body but also slowly accumulated into a giant block of ice.
The Ancient Ice Coffin released a large amount of cold air, solidifying the ice block, once again sealing Ragnaros within it.
Ragnaros once again mobilized Fire Elementals to melt the ice, but this time it was much more difficult.
Gale continuously used the cold air from the Ancient Ice Coffin to solidify the ice. He had let Ragnaros escape once before, so he absolutely couldn't let him escape again this time.
He reached out and summoned the eternal spear back. He released the Rainbow Bridge towards the solid ice; seven divine powers struck the ice, instantly making it unbearable for Ragnaros.
The divine power of ice enhanced the hardness of the solid ice, while the other six divine powers continuously surged within Ragnaros's body, disrupting the stability of the Fire Elementals within him.
Ragnaros let out a silent roar; he did not want to submit to the arrangements of fate.
The Fire Elementals within Sulfuron Keep had not all died. Taking advantage of Gale's full attention on Ragnaros, they broke free from the ice's restraint. Some Fire Elementals launched an attack on Gale, hoping to rescue their king.
Another group rushed towards the fortress gate, opened it, and sought reinforcements from outside.
Gale looked at the sky above and placed the Well of Eternity on the ground. The Rainbow Bridge immediately shot up into the sky, piercing through it and flying out of the Firelands.
Soon, the Rainbow Bridge retracted, and a gigantic red figure appeared in the sky.
Smaug looked at the situation below, immediately swooped down, pinned two of the strongest Fire Elemental creatures to the ground, and opened his mouth to spew a fiery breath, keeping the other Fire Elemental creatures at a distance.
Immediately, his arrogant voice rang out: "I am Smaug, the Flame Dragon! If anyone dares to advance further, I shall send you to hell."
The Fire Elementals immediately halted. Smaug's appearance had easily dispatched two powerful Fire Elemental creatures, and his deterrent force was too strong. His body was also extremely large; although slightly smaller than Ragnaros, he was much larger than other fire creatures.
With Smaug blocking the other Fire Elementals, Gale could confidently deal with Ragnaros.
The Rainbow Bridge struck the solid ice again, and Ragnaros was utterly desperate.
The Fire Elementals outside Sulfuron Keep rushed in, still attempting a rescue. But Smaug's dragon's breath made them realize their mistake; that dragon's breath could even burn Fire Elementals to death, something they truly couldn't withstand.
Thus, Ragnaros was blasted into fragments by the Rainbow Bridge in despair.
Gale took out the devourer of gods and sealed Ragnaros's soul.
Then he looked at the Fire Elementals within the Keep, "Ragnaros attempted to devastate all living beings and has been executed by me. Now, the Firelands will temporarily be under my command, and all Fire Elementals must obey my orders."
Smaug stepped forward, roaring menacingly, "Bow down to His Majesty!"
The Fire Elementals had no choice; to live, they could only submit.
Watching the Fire Elementals obediently prostrate themselves, Smaug couldn't help but feel pleased, "My Majesty, can Ragnaros's essence be bestowed upon me?"
Gale raised an eyebrow and quickly calculated in his mind. If Smaug could obtain Ragnaros's essence, perhaps he could lead the Firelands in his stead. As for whether leaving Smaug in the Firelands would affect Luna's strength, that was not currently within Gale's consideration.
However, he was still thinking of using Ragnaros's essence to forge a divine artifact, like Mjolnir, which could command Fire Elementals.
Smaug then said, "Even a part would be fine! As long as I can get a little of Ragnaros's essence, my strength will be even greater."
Hearing Smaug lower his demands, Gale readily agreed.
"No problem!"
He condensed two portions of elemental essence from Ragnaros's corpse; one was Ragnaros's own, and he gave a small portion of it to Smaug.
Looking at the large portion of Ragnaros's essence in Gale's hand, Smaug felt a bit of regret. Had he been a bit too eager to lower his demands just now?
"If you don't want it, you can return it to me!" Gale chuckled.
Smaug quickly swallowed Ragnaros's essence, afraid that Gale would take it back. It was small, but better than nothing.
