Wen Naisi Squad stood on the mountaintop, looking at Cenarion Thicket in the distance.
Cenarion Thicket was divided into two by a massive magma chasm, and on both sides of the magma, a group of empowered Kaldorei were drawing power from within the magma.
The Cataclysm a few years ago almost destroyed Cenarion Thicket.
Some Kaldorei went north to Ashenvale to find ancient dwellings.
Some went south to Razor Ridge, seeking the protection of the demigod Agamaggan.
Another portion remained steadfast in Cenarion Thicket, and to avoid the effects of the magma, they transformed themselves into a part of the fire, ascending to become Flame Ascendants.
As a result, they unexpectedly discovered that doing so not only avoided the harm of fire but also found a way to solve the Arcane addiction.
After the Well of Eternity exploded, Kaldorei everywhere were plagued by Arcane addiction.
Nordrassil and Mount Hyjal both used the World Tree to solve this problem; previously, Redridge Mountain still had Well of Eternity water, but now they could only, like Darkmoon City and other places, regularly travel to Nordrassil to control the frequency of Arcane addiction outbreaks.
Decades passed, and some Kaldorei had found alternative energies, learning Druid spells or Holy Light, freeing themselves from the grip of Arcane addiction.
Although Cenarion Thicket was not very far from Mount Hyjal, Nordrassil's power had severely weakened by the time it reached here.

Gale had not yet returned from the Firelands, so Maiev and Garrosh discussed and decided to build a harbor at the landing point.

The location of the harbor was roughly where Ratchet is in the game; because parts of the Durotar and Dustwallow Marsh maps had expanded, a huge bay formed here, making it a rare and excellent harbor.
Because the sunrise could be seen in the harbor every morning, Venas named this harbor Sunrise Harbor.
The construction of Sunrise Harbor took several years, during which he led the adventure squad across the magma river to the south to Razor Ridge, where he met the demigod Agamaggan.
During the War of the Ancients, Agamaggan almost died.
After the war, his injuries had mostly healed, and he returned to Razor Ridge.
For these years, he had been recuperating in Razor Ridge and protecting his Bristleback dependents.
Agamaggan envied the powerful combat strength of the Kaldorei led by Gale, so he began to cultivate the Bristleback.
Bristleback were very suitable to become Warriors because of their strong power and thick skin.
However, the experience of the War of the Ancients told Agamaggan that no matter how powerful a Warrior was, they were not as effective as a spellcaster.
Therefore, he focused on cultivating talented Bristleback to become spellcasters.
The only spellcasting profession for Bristleback was Shaman, and the cultivation of Shaman mainly focused on faith.
Bristleback did not lack faith, so in just a few decades, the number of Bristleback Shaman increased severalfold.
During the Cataclysm, the Elves of Cenarion Thicket came seeking refuge.
Agamaggan, out of respect for Gale, took them in.
But he also made a request, asking these Elves to teach the Bristleback Arcane spells.
The Elves agreed; they obtained a piece of land in Razor Ridge and built a small town.
In the town, the Elves settled down and taught the Bristleback Arcane spells.
However, the Bristleback's intelligence was somewhat insufficient; even simple spells took a long time to learn.
With no other option, the Elven Mages could only cast Arcane Wisdom on the Bristleback every day, forcibly enhancing their learning ability.
Under these circumstances, Wen Naisi Squad arrived at Razor Ridge.
The Elves, hearing that the Kaldorei Empire had established a harbor in the east, all expressed their willingness to return to the embrace of the Empire.
Agamaggan was somewhat displeased by this, but Venas promised to send more suitable teachers to instruct the Bristleback, and only then did he agree to the Elves' departure.
Venas then went north, wanting to find the Elves who had entered Ashenvale.
Unfortunately, they had already met Tyrande and would be moving to Mount Hyjal to live.
With no success in persuasion, Venas had to give up.
For the remaining time, Wen Naisi Squad would periodically go to Cenarion Thicket for reconnaissance.
Until recently, when Sunrise Harbor was completed, and Nordrassil's forces and supplies were continuously transported in.
Venas voluntarily applied to serve as the vanguard for the final reconnaissance.
"Their situation is more severe," Nate said, "and their strength has also become greater.

Soon, they discovered the location of the magic circle and launched an attack there.
On their way to attack, countless Water Elementals were summoned, continuously attacking them.
Finally, a tall Water Elemental Lord appeared in front of the magic circle, "Hekdaxis brings Neptulon's greetings; may the tides carry you far."
DathRemar: "Duke Hekdaxis, please help us capture these Flame Elves."
