Everyone looked at Bel Frosthoof, who shrugged and said, "The antlers on our heads are blessed by Cenarius because we once saved his kin, the moose Eche'ro."
"We mean, since we're both Tauren, we should be able to communicate, right?"
Nate's words made Bel, who was eager to show off, a little embarrassed. However, seeing as Nate was a Lich, he chose to forgive Nate.
"Of course, we are distant relatives and all speak Tauren."
Bel went forward to communicate and learned that these Tauren were a branch that stayed on the grasslands when they moved north years ago. Being gentle by nature, they had good relations with the Bristleback of Razor Ridge and the Kaldorei of Cenarion Thicket.
Just as the adventure team was heading to the Tauren tribe, Gale arrived at the Firelands again.
This time, he came to forge the King's Sword of the Firelands.
The materials were all ready; the Hand of Ragnaros was still in Sulfuron Keep, and Ragnaros's essence was well-preserved. Tydasshid was still in a coma, so Gale temporarily borrowed the hammer of Kaz'goroth.
Originally, he wanted to use Mjolnir to forge it, but later he considered that Mjolnir could only be used for lightning forging, and the resulting weapon would be much inferior to the hammer of Kaz'goroth.
Returning to Sulfuron Keep, Gale immediately built a huge magic furnace. Then he threw the Hand of Ragnaros into the furnace, using the Reality Gem to provide energy, and melted it down.
He poured the molten iron into a mold, and after it solidified, he forged it with the hammer of Kaz'goroth. With each strike, the sword body would shrink a bit, until it was hammered to a size suitable for Kaldorei use.
Gale enchanted it with titan runes, and then enchanted it further using Ragnaros's essence.
After the enchantment was complete, the entire sword ignited with raging flames. Gale tested the sword on a stone; with one strike, the stone broke into two pieces, then burned and turned into lime before extinguishing.
Such powerful burning ability was even stronger than the Hand of Ragnaros.
Gale crafted this weapon based on the twilight divine sword of Marvel's Fire Giant Surtur. It not only possessed powerful burning capabilities but could also grow to an immense size, incinerating everything.
Although it couldn't unleash Ragnarök, it could easily kill all enemies below the level of a god.
Facing the twilight divine sword, Smaug trembled, let alone other fire creatures.
Smaug sidled up, fawning, and said, "My King, with me here, there will be no unrest in the Fire Source Land; you can rest assured."
He turned his head and glared at the Fire Elemental Lords who had pledged allegiance, "Am I right?"
"Yes, yes, yes…"
The Fire Elemental Lords nodded frantically, unsure if they were threatened by Smaug or feared the power of the twilight divine sword.
Gale calmly put away the twilight divine sword and hung it at his waist. "Where is Ragnaros's treasure vault?"
Smaug's expression was blank, his eyes darting rapidly. He had already considered the treasures in Ragnaros's vault his own, and he hadn't expected Gale to bring it up.
After weighing life and treasure, he still chose to cherish his life.
"My King… I will take you… there!"
Looking at the extremely reluctant Smaug, Gale chuckled and scolded him, "I'll leave those useless but pretty gems for you."
Smaug's sadness then turned to joy, and he trotted ahead to lead the way.
Ragnaros's treasure vault was even more spectacular than AlAkir's. Magic materials like Fire Essence, Primordial Fire, Eternal Fire, and Fire Crystals were countless, and gems like the Heart of Fire were too numerous to count.
The only thing that was somewhat scarce was source ore, which was almost nonexistent. There were some source ingots, but not many. It seemed that Fire Elementals were very adept at refining source ingots, consuming all the source ore to create artifacts.
The Hand of Ragnaros contained a large amount of source ingots, so, by this calculation, the Firelands did not have less source ore than the Wind Elemental Realm.
Gale took all the magic materials, and Smaug didn't like these things either. Rubies, Fire Gems, and other beautiful but common gems were given to Smaug, while valuable gems like the Heart of Fire, Core of Magma, and Core of Blazing Fire were taken by Gale.
source ingots and other metals were also taken. With the gems, Smaug's fanaticism for metals had greatly diminished.
Respectfully seeing Gale off, Smaug looked at the ransacked treasure vault, heartbroken. The treasures that once piled up like mountains were now not even enough to cover the ground.
The losses were too severe!
Gale had walked quite a distance when he was suddenly startled by crying from behind him. After recognizing the owner of the crying, Gale shook his head speechlessly; this Smaug was too greedy.
Were those things yours? Why are you crying?
Smaug thought Gale had already left the Fire Source Land, but Gale was actually exploring the Firelands.
With the twilight divine sword, all the Fire Elementals kept their distance from Gale. Even the Fire Hawks that had dared to attack him earlier now stayed far away.
Gale ascended Flame Feather Peak, and the portal left by Freya was still there. Gale did not go to Fire Feather Mountain but began to study the principles of Fire Elemental formation.
If he could master the technology of creating Other Spaces, he could create an Other Space specifically for storing aerial fortresses. By connecting the exits of the Other Space to various major cities, the aerial fortresses could support each city anytime, anywhere.
This way, the defensive forces of various cities could be reduced, with more troops stationed in the Other Space.
Superior mobility would counter most enemy surprise attacks.
Of course, this method was not without its weaknesses. If the enemy could seal off the Other Space, then the aerial fortresses would be trapped within it. And the major cities, with their reduced forces, would be easily breached.
Overall, creating Other Spaces had more benefits than drawbacks. If they had portals to Other Spaces, daily travel between major cities would no longer require ships, becoming much easier.
The fleet's duties would become simpler, and defensive work would also be reduced, with all focus placed on war.
At that time, what other force could stop the expansion of the Kaldorei Empire?
Gale connected the portal to the planar rift above Sulfuron Keep. To study the portal to the Other Space, he needed to understand its spatial folding technology. In terms of spatial magic, Gale only understood teleportation and barrier spells.
Clearly, in spatial magic, Gale was still a novice, with much to learn.
Fortunately, his Arcane analysis ability was powerful; as long as he was given a sample and time, he could analyze any spell, including spatial magic.
Gale spent several years analyzing, finally mastering the spell for creating Other Spaces.
He sealed the spatial rift above Sulfuron Keep, then opened a portal in Sulfuron Keep leading to Nordrassil.
