Chapter 365: The Power of Dual Kamui
Black Zetsu suddenly realized that Obito had always relied solely on Kamui, never using other jutsu—not because Kamui was so convenient or overwhelmingly powerful, but because… Obito had been hiding something.
Why had Obito been hiding his true abilities?
Wasn't it obvious? He was guarding himself against Black Zetsu—the so-called embodiment of Madara's "will."
"Looks like Obito may never resurrect Madara."
"But as long as he doesn't abandon the Eye of the Moon Plan, he can't escape being a pawn."
Black Zetsu's eyes glinted. He wasn't too worried about Obito's current changes, but from now on, he'd keep a much closer eye on him.
Because who knew—maybe Obito would have another sudden change of heart and abandon the plan altogether.
If that happened, Black Zetsu would have no choice but to initiate Madara's resurrection early.
"That's why Nagato can't be allowed to fail!"
Black Zetsu realized that Nagato—and more specifically, the Rinnegan in his possession—was critical. It couldn't be lost.
With that in mind, he immediately sent word to the White Zetsu watching Nagato, ordering him to report any strange activity the moment it occurred.
"Bee, maybe this guy doesn't actually have the Mangekyō Sharingan?"
Minutes passed. The battle hadn't shifted much, except that Obito's clone seemed to be handling it more smoothly.
He continued fighting using only Lightning Release-enhanced kenjutsu, never displaying other jutsu.
This led the Eight-Tails inside Killer Bee to suspect that perhaps taijutsu and Lightning Release were this man's true strength—and that he didn't have the Mangekyō.
If so, there was no need to fear him. They could push harder and continue testing him.
"Let's try going to Form Two."
Hiding in the shadows, the real Killer Bee activated partial Tailed Beast Transformation and lunged from a tree.
But Obito's clone had already anticipated his presence. As he spun around, he launched a sudden thrust that slashed across Killer Bee's chest. Bee quickly leapt back to avoid a second strike.
Now standing beside his clone, Killer Bee stared at Obito's clone in shock.
"This guy… has incredible sensory ability!"
That meant Bee's hidden form had been sensed from the very beginning.
Yet the masked man never acted—he'd just kept playing with the clone.
Which meant… this whole time, he wasn't even serious.
Both Killer Bee and the Eight-Tails could feel the gravity of the situation now. The man facing them exuded absolute confidence, like he knew he could easily win at any moment.
But what power was he relying on? They had no idea.
"Don't hesitate, Bee!"
"If you don't use your full transformation and get caught by one of his surprise techniques, we'll die like fools."
"Got it!"
Killer Bee wasn't delusional. Once he realized Obito's clone had a hidden trump card, he stopped holding back.
Besides, with such sharp sensory ability, the enemy wouldn't be fooled by clones or diversions.
Instead of waiting to get hit with something dangerous—he'd strike first.
"Let me show you my fury! Baka yarō, kuruyarō!"
As he transformed, Killer Bee still managed to toss in a few rhymes.
Li Yao's Obito clone watched as Bee's body swelled rapidly, transforming into the full Eight-Tails.
He lowered his twin swords and canceled his Lightning Chakra, sighing with disappointment. "You're no fun anymore."
He'd been enjoying himself… but now that fun was over.
So be it—time to show the power of dual Kamui.
Obito's clone's eyes flashed. His three-tomoe Sharingan spun rapidly, morphing into the Mangekyō Sharingan of Kamui.
The Eight-Tails' sudden transformation didn't go unnoticed.
"Careful! He has the Mangekyō too!" the Eight-Tails warned.
"Understood."
Killer Bee quickly condensed chakra into one of his tails. If things went south, he could sever the tail and escape—just like before.
But before that, he had to get Teacher Kin to safety.
Killer Bee used one of the Eight-Tails' tails to scoop up Fat Tai the raccoon, Teacher Kin, and the clone, and hurled them far away.
At this point, brute force was the only way to eBakuate allies.
Obito's clone didn't stop him.
"This guy… he's way too confident!"
Killer Bee and the Eight-Tails watched closely. Obito's clone didn't even consider using Teacher Kin as leverage—he simply let them go.
Fine then—time for a taste of a Tailed Beast Bomb.
BOOM!
The massive Eight-Tails leapt backward and opened its mouth. Chakra condensed rapidly into a Tailed Beast Bomb. Before it was fully formed, Killer Bee fired its unstable, devastating energy directly at Obito's clone.
In an instant, the roaring energy surged forward like a beam cannon, capable of annihilating anything in its path.
Yet Obito's clone didn't dodge. He didn't use intangibility either.
He simply held up one blade and slashed forward.
Rip—
In that moment, a rift opened between real space and Kamui space.
The slash cut through dimensions like a blade of the void, slicing the very fabric of reality—and with it, the oncoming Tailed Beast Bomb.
BOOM!
The terrifying energy split down the middle, bypassing Obito on both sides.
BOOM BOOM BOOM—
Thunderous explosions rocked the snowfields. Snow and debris flew in all directions.
The shockwave was so massive that even Kumogakure shinobi several dozen kilometers away sensed it and began rushing toward the scene.
"We got him!"
"He dared to take a Tailed Beast Bomb head-on? What a stupid bastard—baka yarō, kuruyarō!"
Killer Bee rapped endlessly. From his angle, he couldn't see how the attack had been split. He was sure the man hadn't dodged.
Killer Bee knew how destructive Tailed Beast Bombs were.
Even if the man had a special ability that let him survive, no one could walk away unscathed from a direct hit like that.
"Careful, Bee. His chakra's still there!"
The dust hadn't cleared, but the Eight-Tails could sense that the masked man's chakra hadn't vanished—and didn't seem weakened either.
"What?!"
Killer Bee was stunned. His massive ox-like eyes stared toward where Obito had stood.
As the dust and snow settled…
Obito's clone remained where he was, completely unharmed, standing in a crater more than ten meters deep. Behind him, a fan-shaped area of the ground remained untouched.
Clearly, he had completely neutralized the attack.
"Impossible!"
Killer Bee was shaken. Even the Eight-Tails' heart skipped a beat.
Aside from the First Hokage, it had never seen anyone so casually withstand a Tailed Beast Bomb.
