The moment he came, he got up, ready to go.
But first, he went into the bathroom to clean himself up.
When he returned to the room, he began putting on his pants.
"Hey, you're leaving already?" Isadora pouted.
"I have a meeting this afternoon at the university building. I have to be there," he said and turned away from her.
He walked straight to the door, opened it, and had taken a step out, when he saw Valentina.
"Good, I finally found you," she said, almost out of breath from all the running she had been doing.
Alarm bells instantly rang in his head. "Are the twins okay?"
"Oh– no they're fine. That's not why I'm here. I–"
"Dearest, I think your wallet fell out of your pocket." Isadora appeared at the door, one hand, holding the covers around her chest, and the other holding the wallet.
Luciano turned to her, and Valentina threw her face away because it felt like she was interrupting something.
