After much deliberation, Summer Lowell decided to push herself to walk in the garden, hoping to tire herself out even more.
That way, she could have a peaceful sleep tonight, undisturbed.
When Assistant Collins arrived, he saw Summer leaning against the garden bench, looking like she was about to doze off.
He glanced several times and reported to Maxim Sinclair as soon as he entered the study: "Madam is dozing in the garden downstairs, she looks extremely exhausted. Why doesn't she come up to sleep?"
Maxim Sinclair was unaware of this. He walked to the window and looked down, seeing Summer indeed struggling to keep her eyes open. He shook his head: "Wait for me here, I'll bring her upstairs to sleep."
By the time he got downstairs, Summer had just woken from her doze, and she was startled to see Maxim standing right beside her.
"What are you doing here?"
