Melody Thorne stared at the wine glass on the table. "I remember I just slapped that person, so why are so many people saying I was cruel to them?"

"Alright, more people will come to the bar soon, let's go, let's go," Nina King said as she led her outside.
The place is still in business. It's impossible to spot anything. It's been cleaned up a long time ago.
The two left the bar, and Melody Thorne walked behind, lost in thought, not noticing anything unusual about the bar. Suddenly, a large hand covered her mouth.
When Nina turned around, Melody Thorne was already gone.
"Melody, Melody Thorne," Nina turned around to look for her, almost scared out of her wits, but there was no sign of Melody Thorne.
In a panic, she called Jared Quinn.
Melody Thorne's mouth was covered with a towel, which had a strong scent of drugs, but it seemed ineffective on her.
