Hades wasn't immune to her gaze. He reached out his hand on her shoulders, brought her close for Hyperion to see and answered, "Someone precious to me."
"Precious," Hyperion repeated as if he wasn't used to the word on Hades's lips, not because he hadn't heard that word, but like he couldn't imagine he would say it and Evangeline could notice how he had let it slip before trying to find an appropriate expression, "I see. I see," he repeated for a few seconds, "That's... wonderful news."
Hades smiled back at Hyperion who was now looking somewhere around Hades's chest before furrowing his eyebrows and placing a hand over his lips.
Evangeline felt something was off, but she couldn't really figure out what was off about the air.
"Well let's enter first," Hyperion stepped aside, "And I think I would do more than just washing my hands. I'll freshen up really quickly while you saw her around the house. She must be looking forward to some of the items in your old room."
