Rain's heart shattered into a million glittery pieces the second Clayton slammed the door on her. A man who was once her world had turned into her enemy in the blink of an eyes.
And to think she's wayed years of her life loving him... No, she'll never allow it.
She called her mother to plan her next move. This time she wasn't going to wait to get proposed to, she was going to be proposing herself.
"Why are you calling me you murderer?" Her mother barked and Rains eyes turned wide.
How did her parents find out already?
"Did I ever once teach you how to kill anyone Rain? How dare you do this to us. You didn't kill one person, but eight." The woman continued from the other end.
"You're lucky Clayton Grey has been generous to hide the new from the public. But that doesn't make you less of a murderer." Rain clutched her phone tighter, tears blurring her designer lashes, while her mom's voice crackled through the speaker.
