For the period that came after this small " test of strength" if it can be even called as such, I spent my time in learning to be a proper Young Master of the Yotsuba Family, it was quite the hard work .
In fact if I were to chose between learning etiquettes and how to act properly and fighting the entire nation worth of Magicians, I believe that I would choose the latter one hundred percent .
Needing to do what people expect you to do was quite tiring, not to mention having to put an air and perform a good show as to satisfy those expectant gazes fawning all over me .
For some unknown reason, I may have some guesses regarding this weird situation, all the staff that were assigned to teach me consist of women, 6 tutors all were picked from the creme of the crop, these guys will always like to reprimand me to act properly, not only were they quite nagging .
But they would also try to take advantage of me from time to time, touching me and trying to become closer to me, I didn't like them acting like this one pit, that's why I decided to excel in every topic they threw at me as to not give them anymore chances to continue their actions .
And also for myself to get some free time, wanting to study and enhance my understanding of Magic and my own theory on how to enhance my own Magic even more, I currently have no need for Cad, I can also infuse the results of the spells directly into my Black Hole magic .
I can now actually fire Psion Bullets directly and make them have the same effect as firing Black Hole like bullets and vice versa, not only will the bullet be much stronger, faster, even more powerful, but it also would be unstoppable .
I got the idea after I did not quite a few simulations on the Magical sequence I had acquired from Tatsuya, supernatural magic was indeed something very cool topic .
In a month, I got a little bit of my freedom back as those guys were no longer able to teach me anything else and sadly for them, they got paid and were directly moved to another part in the family, there was no way my mother would have brought someone from outside the family to teach me .
I also got to know about many different things, politics caught my interest, especially the relationship between the Ten Master Clans and the fact that there were other clans vying the position of being one of the Ten, but either they were still lacking the final push or were still unable to suppress one of the Ten and replace it .
I got to know about the Ten more thoroughly and the other numbered clans, the reason behind the number system being invented and how was it related to the first appearance of magicians in the World War intrigued me to great lengths .
My mother once said in one of our discussions that we all are the works and products of Research Institutes, I at first didn't quite get what she meant by that, but now that I got educated more on the topic, I fully understood what she tried to say .
The magicians that first appeared in the World War were humans who got their genes mutated after governments tried to enhance their people, thus resulting in the creation of us magicians, each Research Institute was responsible for researching a certain type of Magic and even though some had been shut down, other are still running to date .
Some of these institutes are managed by more than one family, but there is a chain of command that can't be challenged no matter what, from all these families, one in particular caught my utmost attention, Saegusa and their current patriarch and family head Saegusa Kouichi .
Those guys were the ones responsible for the creation and funding of the research institute I was in, it was also thanks to that guy that I had finally found my roots and was able to successfully arrive here, there was also the existence of one of a few who actually cared about me in back in that place Morinaga Meiko .
My feelings regarding that family existence were a bit mixed and quite conflicated, part of me detest them for what they did to my other brothers, another part would wonder about what would I be if not for their existence and their crazy experiment .
I still didn't say anything to the family or my mother regarding this, the reason was quite simple, it would create a huge shockwaves that I currently don't want to see happening, I had a school to attend and hopefully some friends who are looking forward to meet me as I'm looking forward for them .
The next period of time and just a few weeks away from starting to go to school, I browsed through all the educational materials that I will need in this year and my upcoming years as well, all topic were covered by me, magical and non-magical, I didn't leave a single topic without reading at least more than 10 books regarding that matter .
Not to mention that I'm able to store everything perfectly and clearly to when I need these information, but Infinity also helped me in digesting these pieces of information and turn them to knowledge directly, in less than a day, I become an expert in Astronomy, Logic, Philosophy, Psychology, Medicine, Physics, Alchemy and a few more other .
If I wanted, I can go ahead and test my knowledge and acquire the licenses needed to practice all kinds of professions, even getting a few PhD wouldn't be much of a problem, but due to not wanting to create much ruckus, I decided that it would be better for me to take things slowly .
As for my most passionate pursuit which was Magic, I finally got to quenche my thirst for knowledge regarding Magic, spells, Outer-systematic Magic, Ancient Magic, the modern model of Systematic Magic and supernatural Magic .
Spells Ranking, levels of threats, the ranking of magicians and on and on, the latter mentioned pieces of knowledge were all acquired from the military, they still hadn't assigned me to do anything for them, even after 3 or more weeks had passed since I agreed to sign a contract with them .
Yet they still provided me with crucial information without hiding almost nothing from me, I'm saying almost because this was still the military after all, there is somethings that I'm bound to know nothing about some certain kind of stuff .
Anyway I could say to have earned quite a lot from my connection with the military, I receive a few reports related to the project that was being researched in the Base was actually cancelled, I was saddened slightly by the fact that my brothers had been put to death, but I had already made the process less painful for them .
Not to mention that they should have lived for more than 6 to 8 hundred years in the simulation, trying to gather their own souls, but sadly not a single one seemed to have succeeded, a pity .
I built them a memorial stone and made a portable shrine for them, I didn't exactly understand what could it help them with, clones don't have a heaven, or do they, I guess only time will tell .
I will need to wait for quite the long time before I'm able to find out, a few million years or unless the Psions of the whole planet were to be sucked and become completely dry and even then, the possibility of dying due to an encounter with a much strong opponent would be much likely to be the reason of my death .
As for dying of old age, well let's see who can outlive me, I can absorb and even create Psions myself, so even if the world were to face such a Psions drought, I might be able to produce enough Psions for me and the whole Yotsuba Family to use freely .
If I willed it, I could even reinfuse the whole world with Psions, but it would took me some time, not to mention a ton amount of nutrition would be needed, I would need an amount enough to cause a famish in the world, that how much food would be needed, my Psions would be born of me burning energy, so if there were to be no energy, then there would be no Psions .
I don't know why I was suddenly thinking about such a thing, something like this would never happen, Psions were in existence before humans were even aware of it, so I don't see it dissipating overnight .
Dropping such a topic at that, I got out of my bed and got myself ready for my very first day at Magic First High, the school which I would be attending for some years to come .
But some issues had appeared with that, before I left the house for the last time I had a meeting with my mother, I first thought that she was going to bid me farewell or something like that, our relationship had gotten a little bit closer as time passed .
She seem to have fully accepted my position as her son and I would be lying if I were to say that I too didn't do the same and fully accepted her as my mother, in fact I did so years ago, but now that these feeling had been confirmed and accepted, I felt better than ever before .
She was still not willing to let me help her unseal her memories, but I completely understood that she had her own reasons for that, I didn't know whether she will agree to do this anytime sooner, but I will wait for her no matter how much time it took .
In that small family meeting, I got to know that she was indeed seeing me off, but there were a few things that she wanted to discuss with me, like where I will be living and who would look after me and things like that .
In the end it was decided that I would be staying in the Yotsuba's Tower not so far from the school, the place was built for the sake of accommodating the agents and the family members who might stay there when they need a place to log in during missions, it was rejuvenated to accommodate me ever since it was decided that I would be attending First High .
I had no problem whatsoever with this kind of arrangement, even though I really didn't like fancy and extravagant things, I still know better than to argue on this particular topic, it was all for the sake of keeping appearance after all, so it was a mean to a must and that made accepting this kind of arrangement feel so natural .
It was the other topic about who would be responsible in looking after me that made me feel quite troubled, the argument on this particular topic was so intense that it continued for more than half an hour of me telling my mother that I'm in no need for a caretaker and I'm completely able to take care of myself .
And her arguing back that it was a must, that I need a person to serve me as the the young patriarch of the Yotsuba in the eyes of all people outside, after the half hour of intensive discussion passed, she finally gave me a leeway, or so I at least thought, but she actually set a trap for me and I unknowingly fell directly in it .
She actually told me that since I'm angry with having many people around me, I should at least pick one maid from the house to accompany me or else she would come to live with me herself, I first didn't understand why there was any need to choose a maid to begin with, but I had one person that came to my mind almost instantly .
In the end, Juvia was chosen to be my caretaker and personal maid and assistant, I haggled for a good salary for her, since her workload had substantially increased and my mother laughed at me for a bit because of this and still agreed to it .
The trap that was set for me laid in the fact that Juvia wouldn't only be managing where I live, but she will actually enroll in the academy with me, after I knew this, I wanted to indulge in another heated argument to try and refuse, but the hologram clone which my mother used to contact me directly disappeared .
I for some reason felt that she did that in purpose, but seeing that there wasn't really nothing else to do, I still accepted this arrangement reluctantly, I didn't have any issue with Juvia, it's just that the girl kept trying to always appease me in ways that I don't want to even recall .
I also began to become aware of a physiological burden that came with having to deal with her and women in general, I'm unable to help it and now that I'm heading to school things would become even more complicated from now on .
Ryuu-sama is seemed to be engrossed in thought, is something that matter ? .
As we got in the car and the driver drove off, Juvia dressed in the school uniform asked me this all of a sudden, cutting through every line of thoughts I had few seconds earlier, I turned my head to look at her and I couldn't help but note that this school uniform made her more dazzling .
The girl blushed deeply and averted my gaze, seeing her like this was quite familiar to me, so I really didn't care much, but I still shook my head and answered her, telling her that everything was fine, but I was just revising what I would need to say later on the entrance Ceremony as the person with the highest score in the written exam .
As for the Magical Application exam, well what can I say, I as the prince of Yotsuba Family was directly exempted from taking that exam, my score in the written exam was only matched with Tatsuya, but I did heard that Tatsuya was barley qualified in the second exam .
Unlike me who have a wide Magic Calculation Area able to accommodate the existence of more than one supernatural magic, also an enhanced strong body able to lift the burden on my soul, he was troubled by his supernatural magic and was said to be unable to wield modern magic and that even reduced his speed in activating magic .
But I was aware of him wanting to make people think like that, but he wasn't that much burden by any of this at all, anyway I was chosen to be the Frenchman Representative this year and had to give a speech, what a headache .
