Feeling light penetrating through the darkness, Madara opened his eerie purple eyes wide in terror. The nine dark spheres, carrying the weight of an abyss, slammed into him with the force to destroy everything!
BOOM!!!
His breath hitched. Hit by the full force of Kaoru's barrage, Madara felt as if his entire body was being torn apart.
Mists of blood sprayed into the air. His flesh was pulverized by the massive orbs, leaving his white bones exposed, covered in countless cracks.
Kaoru floated alone in the sky, looking down like a god. In the reflection of his Mangekyō Sharingan, Madara was shot through the air like an arrow, flying across the ocean and crashing violently into the distant mountain range, causing entire peaks to explode and collapse.
Rocks and debris tumbled down, shaking the earth. The dust cloud was so massive it caught the attention of ninja fighting on other battlefields.
"'The mountains… the whole mountain range is collapsing! Is that Brother doing that?!'"
Wan'er widened her eyes in disbelief as she fought against the White Zetsu army.
"'That's insane… Who could possibly be fighting with that kind of power…?'" Kurotsuchi used Lava Release to incinerate a group of Zetsu and retreated beside Wan'er, staring in shock at the distant destruction.
"'Let me see!'" A clear voice rang out. Hinata activated her Byakugan, gazing across the sea. She sensed a familiar yet strange chakra, and another one that was so vast it filled the entire space!
"'What do you see, Hinata?'" Wan'er asked after destroying more Zetsu with her Susanoo.
"'It's… it's Kaoru…'" Hinata lowered her gaze, her voice soft. "'He's fighting someone incredibly powerful…'"
"'I knew it! It's Brother!'" Wan'er jumped excitedly. "'I wish I was there! If we fought together, no one could stand a chance against us!!!'"
"'You're really energetic, Wan'er…'" Hinata smiled weakly, not knowing what else to say.
"'Whatever! Let's finish these annoying Zetsu off quickly, then I'll go help him!'" Wan'er shouted, diving back into the fray with her Susanoo.

Kaoru paid no attention to the other battles.
"'Madara… now that you are truly alive… you understand what pain feels like, don't you…?'"
Floating calmly in the air, a smirk played on his lips. His scarlet eyes glowed intensely. With a single movement, he shot forward in pursuit of his enemy.
RUMBLE...
Amidst the falling rocks and dust, Madara slowly opened his eyes. There was fear in his purple Rinnegan—something that should have been impossible for him to feel.
His shattered body was regenerating rapidly under the power of the Ten-Tails and Six Paths energy. Flesh grew back over his exposed bones. But unlike an Edo Tensei body, which simply reforms, the process of growing new flesh was agonizing.
For a moment there… I really thought I was going to be erased completely… This pain of being alive… is unbearable…
Madara thought bitterly to himself. He blasted away the rubble surrounding him and slowly stood up from the ruins of the mountain.
"'How is it? Starting to miss your Edo Tensei body now? At least then, you couldn't feel pain…'"
The moment Madara stood up, that chilling voice reached his ears. His eyes snapped open wide, and every hair on his body stood on end.
"'It seems even the regeneration of a Ten-Tails Jinchūriki has its limits… It's not as effortless as being an immortal corpse, is it…?'"
Kaoru stood floating in the air before him, arms crossed, looking down with those scarlet eyes as if viewing an insect.
This look of contempt… isn't this exactly how I used to look at others?
Realizing this, Madara ground his teeth in fury. The mockery struck deep into his pride.
"'It seems your healing can't keep up with the damage…'"
Kaoru sighed. While Madara's powers allowed him to heal from anything, if the damage was inflicted fast enough and in overwhelming amounts—like what Kaoru had just done—his body simply couldn't regenerate fast enough to keep up.
Faced with Kaoru's taunting, Madara's expression twisted. He was about to retaliate when his eyes suddenly widened in absolute shock.
"'How is this possible…?!'" He stared at Kaoru, disbelief written all over his face. "'You used a technique of that scale… how can you still have so much chakra left!!!'"
Kaoru wasn't a Jinchūriki, nor did he have the Sage Body. Where did this endless supply of energy come from?
Madara could see clearly that Kaoru's aura was just as vast and powerful as before. To someone of his level, this was impossible. The greater the jutsu, the greater the cost. Yet Kaoru seemed unaffected…
Kaoru smiled, seeing the confusion. He knew that after absorbing the Dragon Pulse, his chakra was virtually infinite. But there was no need to explain that to his enemy.
Revealing some of your power is intimidating. Revealing everything? That's just stupidity.
"Sage Art: Absolute Zero Prison!!!"
In Madara's eyes, chains of blinding white light shot forth from Kaoru's hands. The air instantly froze. A wave of cold beyond absolute zero spread out, turning everything it touched into brilliant, crystalline ice!
Madara had no desire to admire the beauty of it. He knew full well that this power could freeze and shatter anything. After being blown apart earlier, he wasn't sure if even his body could recover from being frozen solid. He dared not take the risk!
Crack... Crack...
Even from miles away, the sound of freezing echoed. The falling rocks and collapsing mountains seemed to pause for a moment.
A wave of brilliant white light surged out from the destroyed peaks, covering the entire range in a matter of seconds. Under the stunned gaze of everyone, the massive mountain was completely frozen solid by Kaoru!
BOOM!!!
