"About Lucas?" Stella muttered softly as a mixture of emotions swirled uneasily through her heart.
Though the entire night had been tense, confusing, and complicated, she still could not deny that she had felt an undeniable sense of closeness toward him throughout the evening.
Then there was the scent she perceived from him. It had felt strangely familiar, almost as though it belonged to her somehow.
