"Dad?"
Naruto Uzumaki froze on the spot, wondering if he'd just misheard.
The blond-haired young man who suddenly appeared in front of him looked strikingly similar—yet older—and was now holding an enormous, ultra-massive Rasengan, all while calling him Dad.
At seventeen years old, Naruto couldn't make sense of any of it.
"Ah—!"
Hinata Hyuga, who had been staring at the massive Rasengan in Naruto's hand in disbelief, gasped aloud the moment she heard Boruto's words.
"He… called Naruto Dad?!" Her mind spun in shock. "He's Naruto's son? When did Naruto have a son…?"
Her heart pounded nervously at the thought.
Neji Hyuga and Hiashi Hyuga were just as stunned. Their eyes darted from the dazzling Rasengan to Boruto's calm face, both filled with confusion.
Boruto sighed and introduced himself plainly. "I came here from the future. My name is Boruto Uzumaki."
"The… future?" Naruto repeated dumbly, unable to process the situation.
"The future?" Hiashi murmured in disbelief. "But that young man… he does resemble Naruto quite a bit. And with power like that—he'd have no reason to lie."
Hinata took a small step forward, her voice trembling. "You said you're Naruto's son? Then who… who's your Mother?"
Boruto tilted his head, meeting her hopeful eyes. Then, with a small smile, he nodded. "You, Mother."
"Ah—!"
Hinata's face turned crimson. Her heart fluttered uncontrollably. "I… marry Naruto in the future? And we have such a handsome son?"
Even in the middle of a battlefield, she couldn't help but blush.
"My nephew?"
"My… grandson?"
Neji and Hiashi exchanged a look of pure shock.
Meanwhile, the Ninja Allied Forces, who were charging toward the Ten-Tails, suddenly felt an immense fluctuation of chakra behind them.
They turned around—and froze.
A colossal Rasengan, bright as a full moon, hovered in the night sky, radiating blue-white light and swirling winds that made the air tremble.
"Is that… a Rasengan?!"
"How can it be that big?! What the hell did Naruto do?!"
Kakashi Hatake, Sakura Haruno, and the others stared in awe. The giant sphere of chakra illuminated the battlefield, its center glowing with terrifying destructive power.
Even from afar, Madara Uchiha and Obito Uchiha noticed it, their eyes narrowing.
"Who… is that young man?" Obito muttered, unease creeping up his spine.
On top of the Ten-Tails' head, both Madara and Obito watched as a yellow-haired figure unleashed Spiraling Defense, obliterating the incoming Wood Release: Cutting Sprigs Jutsu.
Obito had intended to strike Naruto again—but what happened next left even him speechless.
The same yellow-haired youth had created a second Rasengan—one so massive it was nearly half the size of the Ten-Tails itself.
The sphere's radiant blue core pulsed with raw power, the air violently twisting around it.
"This jutsu… if it lands, even the Ten-Tails will take massive damage," Madara said grimly, his Rinnegan glinting.
Obito clenched his fists. "Who is this kid? Could he be the one who neutralized the Ten-Tails' last Tailed Beast Ball?"
Naruto stood frozen for a moment longer, his mind in chaos.
"He called me 'Dad'… and Hinata 'Mother'… What in the world is going on?"
Boruto glanced at him and sighed. "Hey, Dad! You done spacing out yet? If you don't move, the Ten-Tails is gonna break free!"
That snapped Naruto out of it. He inhaled deeply, his blue eyes sharpening with resolve.
Whatever this situation was—whether Boruto's story was true or not—none of it mattered now. What mattered was protecting his comrades… and this world.
"Let's go!"
Naruto roared, lifting the colossal Rasengan high before charging toward the Ten-Tails, which was still pinned down by Earth Release: Mountain Stone Jutsu.
"Still not acting?" Madara asked, glancing at Obito.
Obito extended his hand. The Ten-Tails' tails coiled tightly around its body, leaving only its gaping mouth exposed.
A gigantic, dark red Tailed Beast Ball began to form.
"Everyone, get away from the Ten-Tails! Now!" Kakashi shouted to the Allied Forces below.
The shinobi instantly scattered, fully aware that what was coming next would be catastrophic.
"Rasengan!"
Naruto leaped high into the air, roaring. His chakra burst forth, and the ultra-massive Rasengan, like a blazing comet, descended upon the Ten-Tails.
From the beast's mouth, the dark red Tailed Beast Ball fired at the same moment.
"BOOM—!"
The two colossal forces collided midair, ripping the battlefield apart.
A blinding explosion followed. The shockwave spread outward in an unstoppable wave, shattering the ground and scattering debris in every direction.
Even though the Allied Forces had retreated, they were still thrown back by the blast, many injured and groaning in pain.
Obito's eyes widened. "Impossible…! It's actually matching the Ten-Tails' Tailed Beast Ball!"
Madara's expression darkened. "No… that Rasengan isn't ordinary. A Tailed Beast Ball formed that quickly couldn't possibly rival it. This is something beyond expectation."
He immediately severed his link to the Ten-Tails, activating Susanoo before leaping off its head.
"It's not over yet!"
The Rasengan and Tailed Beast Ball clashed fiercely, neither side giving in. Blue and red light twisted together in the air like two clashing worlds—until finally, the red began to fade.
The Tailed Beast Ball disintegrated under the overwhelming force of the Rasengan.
Then, the blue sphere continued forward, slamming into the Ten-Tails with unstoppable might.
White smoke erupted from the beast's massive body, steam rising where it burned under the heat of the impact.
"BOOM!"
The Ten-Tails howled in agony. The earth beneath it split apart, and the Mountain Stone Jutsu restraining it crumbled into rubble.
The Rasengan's force carved a deep, endless trench through the ground before erupting in one final burst of blinding light, engulfing the battlefield once again.
When the light finally faded, Boruto stood there, hands casually tucked into his pockets, a serious expression on his face.
"I call that technique…" he said slowly, gazing at Naruto.
"Ultra Uzumaki: Son's Gift to Dad Rasengan."
