"I'm taking her with me today. I'd like to see who dares to stop me!"
The moment Boruto's voice echoed through the courtyard, Hikari's heart trembled violently.
Her bright eyes locked onto his hand—still gripping hers tightly—and for the first time in years, a gentle warmth began to stir inside her chest.
The surrounding Uchiha Clan members glared at Boruto, their Sharingan eyes burning crimson with fury.
"Arrogant little brat! Who the hell are you to speak that way on Uchiha territory?"
A man with a sharp gaze stepped forward—Uchiha Feng, a seasoned warrior with a fully developed Three-Tomoe Sharingan.
The scarlet glow of his eyes flickered like firelight as killing intent radiated from him.
Boruto just grinned.
"I like being wild on your territory. What're you gonna do about it?"
"Come hit me then, Idiot!"
He crooked his finger in mock challenge, smiling playfully as though the dozens of Sharingan eyes around him meant nothing.
Uchiha Feng's face twisted with rage. With a fierce roar, he lunged forward like a wild beast, drawing the long sword strapped to his back.
Flames ignited along the blade—crimson and hungry—cutting through the air as he slashed straight for Boruto.
Whoosh!
The blazing katana came down fast enough to scorch the air itself.
But Boruto didn't move. He didn't even flinch.
He merely raised one hand.
In the next instant, Uchiha Feng froze—suspended in midair—his sword halted less than a centimeter from Boruto's head.
The fire blazed but could advance no further, as if an invisible wall held it in place.
"W-What…!?"
Feng struggled, muscles bulging, but the force pinning him was immovable—like a mountain pressing him down.
The Uchiha surrounding them erupted in confusion.
"What kind of Ninjutsu is that?!"
"How is Elder Feng frozen like that?"
"Look at the brat's eyes—are those some kind of Bloodline Limit?"
"Byakugan? No, it's different… who the hell is this kid!?"
Their voices filled the compound, shock and disbelief spreading like wildfire.
Uchiha Feng, an elite jonin among the clan, gritted his teeth and tried to break free—but no matter how hard he fought, his body wouldn't move.
Boruto smirked and flicked his finger.
The invisible force surged, and Uchiha Feng flew backward like a rag doll, crashing into the stone wall with a thunderous impact. He coughed up blood and went limp.
"Damn it! Elder Feng!"
"Everyone attack together! I don't care how strong he is—there are hundreds of us!"
At once, the Uchiha Clan's crimson eyes lit up across the courtyard, a sea of Sharingan glowing under the dark night.
Beside Boruto, Uchiha Hikari froze.
Old memories came rushing back—the dungeons, the chains, the laughter, the mockery. Every cruel word echoed in her mind. Her hand trembled in Boruto's grasp.
But then… warmth.
That same warmth from before spread through her palm, steadying her.
She looked at the back of Boruto's head, exhaled slowly, and stepped forward beside him. Her eyes hardened with resolve.
"Unnamed, you dare to help that boy?!" one of the Uchiha snarled. "Have you forgotten what you are? You're a weapon! Do you know the punishment for betrayal!?"
His Three-Tomoe Sharingan spun menacingly as he tried to crush her will.
But Hikari only closed her eyes for a moment—and saw it again: Boruto's hand reaching out to her in the darkness.
"I am not a weapon," she whispered. "I have a name. The name my father and mother gave me—Uchiha Hikari!"
When her eyes opened again, the tomoe within them shifted and twisted into a new, more complex pattern—her Mangekyō Sharingan.
Boruto's eyes widened slightly. The air itself seemed to hum with power.
Hikari turned toward him, voice soft but firm.
"Thank you… for everything you've done. This time, let me do something for you."
Her Mangekyō gleamed like fire.
"Eight Thousand Spears!"
A scarlet light exploded from her eyes, sweeping across the entire courtyard.
On the backs of every Uchiha present, glowing red marks appeared—each one identical to Hikari's Mangekyō pattern.
"Damn it—it's her Eight Thousand Spears!" someone shouted.
Within seconds, the Chakra inside their bodies began to surge uncontrollably, streaming outward like rivers of blue light.
The energy flowed into Hikari—and then into Boruto—forming a brilliant galaxy of swirling Chakra around them both.
Bolts of blue lightning crackled through the air as the pair stood enveloped in power.
"This is… their Chakra," Boruto murmured.
Though the energy pouring into him was immense, it felt insignificant within the vast ocean of his own.
The Uchiha around them staggered, their strength fading.
"Quick! Activate Unnamed's Cursed Seal!"
"If this keeps up, she'll control us all!"
"It's not working—the seal isn't responding!"
Of course it wasn't. Boruto had already erased it.
Then—
"STOP!"
A deep, commanding voice cut through the chaos. The red marks vanished instantly, and the flow of Chakra stopped.
All eyes turned toward the source.
A man stepped forward from the shadows—tall, composed, with eyes like sharpened blades. His Sharingan burned with a pattern of three intersecting arcs.
Uchiha Ran — the Clan Leader.
"The Clan Leader is here!"
"You're finished, brat!"
"And you, Unnamed—you've betrayed us!"
The Uchiha members exhaled in relief, though their gazes toward Hikari burned with hatred.
Ran's voice was low and cold.
"Hikari, you've betrayed your clan—colluded with an outsider and attacked your kin. Do you understand the crime you've committed?"
Boruto met his gaze without flinching.
"So that's the power of your Mangekyō Sharingan—an ability that can suppress another's ocular jutsu."
Ran's eyes narrowed.
"Hmph. You're not as clueless as you look."
He turned to Hikari.
"Unnamed. I'll give you one more chance. Return to the clan, and I'll forgive what's happened tonight. Refuse… and the entire Uchiha will hunt you down."
Boruto laughed softly.
"Then let's see what the Uchiha Clan Leader from the Warring States can really do."
He raised his hand.
"Universal Pull!"
A tremendous gravitational force slammed into Uchiha Ran.
"What—!?"
His body lurched forward uncontrollably, dragged straight toward Boruto. The pull was so strong it warped the air around him.
Ran hit the ground hard, kneeling as cracks split the earth beneath his feet.
Boruto extended his arm and grabbed the man by the throat, lifting him effortlessly.
Ran's face reddened as he gasped for air, his Mangekyō flickering wildly as he tried to fight back.
"No… how is this possible!?"
The Uchiha Clan members could only stare in horror.
Their leader—the strongest among them—was being overpowered with ease by a single blond outsider.
Boruto's eyes gleamed with cold light.
"You want to dance too?"
He tightened his grip.
Uchiha Ran's face twisted in pain as the courtyard trembled around them.
