Chapter 171 - Chapter 172 Diavolo was completely unrecognizable

"You... you... don't come any closer!!!!"

Diavolo was completely unrecognizable, crawling on the ground like an insect, trying to escape. Logically, he could have used King Crimson one more time, but he was utterly desperate, even completely forgetting that he could erase time.

His few slender intestines couldn't support his lower body. He endured the intense pain, only half of his body scrambling on the beach.

He dragged a long trail of blood across the sand, and halfway through, he completely stopped breathing.

His red and green intertwined pupils completely vanished, then slowly turned into a pair of golden eyes... "So this is the Boss..." Ghiaccio's eyes widened.

After the Assassination Team killed Cioccolata and Secco, Giorno immediately noticed the Reversed Hierophant line in his hand, guessing that Johnson Joffrey had already engaged Diavolo. He then rushed here at the fastest possible speed. Along the way, Giorno felt that Diavolo had erased time several times, the longest instance perhaps reaching half a minute.

Giorno walked up to him and said, "You're not hurt, are you... Johnson."

"Not at all. Haven't you been continuously supplying me with energy? If it weren't for your energy, I would have died long ago."

"You're too strong..." Melone's surprise was no less than when he first heard that Johnson had killed Polpo.

"As expected of Johnson..." Prosciutto exclaimed, "You're really not hurt at all?"

"Wait a minute!!" Narancia's eyes widened, "Aren't we here to fight the Boss?"

"The Boss has already been defeated by Joffrey," Bucciarati said calmly, his gaze falling on Johnson. He still seemed to be staring at the calm sea, as if there was something else worth exploring within it.

This guy actually defeated the Boss, it's unbelievable, alone!! If the Boss's ability was Time Erase, then what was his ability?!

What else could defeat Time Erase?! What terrifying power... This time, they basically didn't do much; Joffrey alone defeated Diavolo.

"If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I probably wouldn't have believed it," Bucciarati murmured, then recalled how the Assassination Team had kept saying on the way that Johnson was very strong, and that they might have already killed the Boss by the time they arrived. At the time, he thought they were just comforting themselves.

"His King Crimson could even erase time for half a minute at the end," Polnareff said, pushing his wheelchair over to the astonished late heroes, "Foresight, time erasure lasting half a minute, even Jotaro would probably find it difficult to deal with."

"No, this matter can't be compared. My Reversed Hierophant·ACT2's ability only awakened specifically to deal with Diavolo," Johnson Joffrey looked at the setting sun, his entire being bathed in its glow, and said, "It's also thanks to Gold Experience's continuous energy output; otherwise, I wouldn't have achieved that speed and strength."

"You are?" Risotto quickly asked him.

"I am Polnareff, the one who contacted you online," Polnareff said, "It's a pity I didn't help you at all; instead, I almost made a mistake."

"Beep beep beep—"

The phone rang again. Polnareff quickly bent down and picked up Johnson's phone from the floor—

"Beep."

"This is Kujo Jotaro. Has Johnson finished with your boss? I'm currently rushing to Olbia; there seems to be a Stand User disturbance there."

Polnareff heard Jotaro's familiar voice and was silent for a while. Those fifty days of glorious years, along with his story and his life, began to emerge from the shadows in his mind.

A stinging sensation welled up in his single eye… "It's you, Jotaro. It's been a long time since we last spoke."

"…"

"…You're Pol…Polnareff?"

"It's me. I didn't expect you to still remember me."

The other side remained silent, then, after several seconds, stammered a reply: "A character like you… I… I wouldn't forget him."

Summary and Reflections on the golden wind Arc (All those who are saving chapters, come out!)

The golden wind arc has finally concluded. Come on, give me a round of applause.

I believe there was basically no bad ending, no particularly severe rhythm disruption. I elaborated where needed, and didn't rush the pace because readers complained. I sped up where needed, and didn't slow down because others said it was too fast or awkward. In terms of plot, there was no excessive intelligence reduction or forced victories. Sometimes, the protagonist even disappeared for several chapters. I gave many recollections and interpretations to the characters I liked. From my own writing perspective, I found it quite enjoyable.

I personally believe that the most appealing aspects of JOJO are the character design, the excitement of the battles, and the spirit of the characters. I have always strived towards these aspects. Even for Cioccolata and Secco, whom you may not like, I gave them a lot of screentime to fully showcase them, and Diavolo received a profound, soul-deep analysis.

The completion level, in my heart, can be rated a sixty (out of a hundred). It also fills a void in my mind for a golden wind fanfiction. The first volume can even be considered a golden wind fanfiction. Although sometimes when I reread it, I still think, "Ah, I was so stupid, why did I write it like this? I should have written it that way," this regret actually proves that I am improving!

This book is not an unlimited flow series but purely a JOJO fanfiction. In the next arc, the Assassination Team will still appear, and the main group will, barring any surprises, remain these people. There is almost no sense of disconnection, and I am personally very much looking forward to the new arc because there is a lot to write. Three hundred thousand words, and in reality, it's only like defeating a Novice Village BOSS and occupying Italy (which has actually only been five or six days).

I'm still a bit worried that everyone will save chapters, so let's set a custom goal. Please! If the follow-up subscriptions or new additions drop, I'll get a bit anxious and might write poorly. I also fear you'll say you'll read it after this arc ends, and then you'll just disappear. I haven't missed a single day of writing all this time.

Tomorrow will still be four updates!

Respectfully, Head of the Qiao Family Courtyard
