(KRYSTAL'S POV)
The atmosphere in the room is so tense that I can't breathe.
I look at every single one of their faces, trying to read their expression, but I come up with absolutely nothing.
I quickly stand up from the chair and wipe the tears from my cheeks. My hands are shaking so much that I hide them behind my back, clenching my fists just to keep them steady.
"Hey," I say, swallowing against the tightness in my throat. "H–how long have you guys been standing there?"
No one answers immediately.
But the way they're all looking at me…
The way they're standing too still…
And the silence…
It stretches just long enough for my heart to start pounding painfully in my chest.
What did they hear?
Was it everything I said?
Was it just a part of it?
My chest starts to heave, my breathing getting faster with every second they don't say anything.
"Krystal," Raffaele says.
My eyes turn to him.
He starts walking toward me and I slowly back away.
