Ever since we found out about the coma, the routine hasn't changed. Every single day, without fail, the crew showed up at the hospital.
We all sat around Val's bed, talking to him… laughing… hoping that the long hours we spend in his hospital room might actually help him.
And even though staying in Los Angeles was incredibly risky considering this is I Diavoli Rossi's territory, Raffaele and Angelo still chose to stay for another couple weeks so the doctors could monitor him for any improvements.
But Val's condition didn't improve. It didn't decline either.
His brain activity stayed the same.
And hearing that, after hoping and praying for weeks, was incredibly difficult for all of us.
Because as long as nothing changes, we're stuck in this place where we don't know if we're waiting for a miracle… or just delaying the inevitable.
Now we're flying back to Vegas on a private jet. But it doesn't feel or look like one.
