This is also the universal effect of the entire "Kaiju" series. The tactic of the Kaiju Card Deck roughly follows this approach—using one Kaiju to eat up the opponent's big monster on the field, then jumping across to the opponent's field, allowing you to directly summon a stronger one from your hand.
