"When did Teacher Mokgetsu…" Obito was just about to ask why he hadn't heard of it, then he noticed Kakashi's look, and immediately shut his mouth.
He admired Kakashi a bit for being able to lie without blinking, making it seem as real as the truth.
"If that's the case, then that's great." Yamato nodded with a smile.
Initially, he was also thinking about checking Obito and their documents, but the white-haired youngster looked and dressed like Kakashi, plus the Konoha headband, and the Fire Release Ninjutsu used by Obito was a well-known powerful Fire Release from Konoha, so there shouldn't be any problem with their identities.
It's not like during the previous Ninja World War, where villages would have so many spy activities for no reason.
"By the way, what's your name?" Yamato couldn't control his curiosity from rising.

However, to not alert the opponent, Kakashi lied about Mokgetsu's ninja level, saying Mokgetsu was just a Special Jonin, not even mentioning that Mokgetsu was their teacher, merely calling him a captain.
Yamato smiled, indicating he didn't say anything, as he didn't know this Special Jonin Kakashi was referring to.
Yamato's social circle was relatively small, as he was either in Root or Anbu before, so he didn't know many ninjas.
Seeing that the conversation was at this point, the hidden Shadow Clone of Mokgetsu notified the main body to come and handle the situation.

Upon receiving the notification, Mokgetsu's main body immediately used the Flying Thunder God Jutsu to transfer to where Kakashi and the others were.

"That ninja with a silly look in the orange tracksuit has a lot of Chakra, can create hundreds of Shadow Clones in one go, and the other one, who seems a bit dazed, is proficient in Water Release, likely stronger than an ordinary Jonin," Kakashi continued, quickly stating the known information about Yamato and Uzumaki Naruto.
