Uzumaki Naruto has really put up with Kakashi for a long time.

"In the end, was I unable to successfully protect those I wanted to protect?" Kakashi touched the White Fang Short Blade on his back.

He was demonstrating his determination, as well as making a demand. His meaning was clear: if Mokgetsu and the others are destined to die, then he can't continue living either.
"Little Kakashi Sensei..." Naruto looked at Kakashi somewhat frantically. If he knew more, he would have already said it all.
Beside him, Yamato also fell into deep self-blame and confusion.
