Chapter 669 - Chapter 355: Renowned Powerhouse

"Why is Clan Leader Fugaku looking for me?"

Obito stretched and lounged in his chair, asking casually.

Obito wasn't very familiar with Uchiha Fugaku. Compared to Uchiha Fugaku, he interacted more with Uchiha Yashiro.

Of course, that's relative; Obito didn't have a good impression of Uchiha Yashiro either, who was always trying to persuade him to join the Police Squad.

"It's definitely not a bad thing. It seems there's some reward to give you," Grandma replied.

"In that case, I'll go after lunch."

Hearing there was a reward, Obito was slightly interested.

Joining the Police Squad was out of the question, but collecting a reward from the Uchiha was worthwhile, especially since the Uchiha had quite a few Advanced Fire Release techniques.

"Is this enough to eat?"

Grandma placed the meal on the table and asked Obito with a loving gaze.

"It's more than enough, I might not even be able to finish it all."

Obito quickly nodded, afraid Grandma would bring out more food.

There's a kind of love where Grandma thinks you're underfed. If it weren't for Obito's strengthened physique from cultivating the Breathing Technique, he might not have been able to eat so much.

After finishing the meal, Obito took the initiative to wash the dishes before heading to Uchiha Fugaku's house.

However, Obito forgot one thing: when he's not on a mission, he's free to do as he pleases, but Uchiha Fugaku, as the head of the Police Squad, has to work.

So, having arrived early, Obito didn't see Uchiha Fugaku but instead met Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Mikoto.

"Obito, are you here to play with Itachi?"

Uchiha Mikoto was unaware of Obito's purpose for coming.

Obito shook his head, "My grandma said Clan Leader Fugaku was looking for me."

"Right now, he should still be at the Police Department; it'll take about half an hour for him to come back. Why don't you sit and wait for a bit? I'll make you some tea."

Uchiha Mikoto checked the time and replied.

"Half an hour... I guess I'll wait here, but no need for tea; I'm not thirsty right now."

Obito thought for a moment and agreed to wait, since it meant collecting a reward.

With nothing better to do, Obito decided to use the half-hour to guide Uchiha Itachi.

"Itachi, you must become a good person in the future and not a bad one."

Obito suddenly said to a dazed Uchiha Itachi in the courtyard.

Uchiha Itachi looked at Obito with a puzzled expression.

"What kind of person is considered a good person, and what kind is considered a bad one? Why must one be a good person?"

Uchiha Itachi's eyes were filled with questions.

Obito scratched his head, feeling a bit overwhelmed.

"A good person is someone who frequently helps others, while a bad person is someone who often bullies others. Bad people are disliked by everyone, so you should be a good person."

Obito explained earnestly.

"So, someone who helps an old grandma cross the street is a good person, while someone who snatches a lollipop from an old grandma is a bad person."

Uchiha Itachi mused, appearing thoughtful.

"That's one way to put it."

Obito nodded in agreement, a regular helper of the elderly, clearly counted as a true good person.

"Then if someone helps a grandma cross the street but then snatches her lollipop, does that make them a good or bad person?"

Uchiha Itachi combined the scenarios in his mind and posed a new question.

"This..."

Obito grabbed his hair with both hands, momentarily speechless.

Saying they're a good person would be ignoring the theft, but calling them bad disregards the help given.

"Ahem, that question doesn't count; generally, no one does that."

Obito coughed twice, trying to brush off the question using reality as an excuse, as he genuinely didn't know how to answer.

Uchiha Itachi silently watched Obito as if eager for an answer to his question.

If possible, Obito wouldn't mind being seen as knowledgeable by his clan juniors, but he truly had nothing to say, making the scene a bit awkward.

Finally, Uchiha Fugaku returned early, breaking the silence.

"Obito, did you just come back from the battlefield today?"

Uchiha Fugaku smiled and greeted Obito.

Obito looked at Uchiha Fugaku gratefully, as if he were his savior, "Yeah, during the last mission everyone got injured, so Teacher Mokgetsu let us return to Konoha to rest for a while."

"After such an intense battle, it's important to rest well if injured; health comes first,"

Uchiha Fugaku said with a concerned expression.

This time, both Obito and Shisui brought great prestige to the Uchiha Clan, and their renown as geniuses spread throughout Konoha.

"I'm alright; it's mainly the other teammates who got more seriously injured."

Obito answered honestly.

"That's good to hear."

Uchiha Fugaku nodded and led Obito to the living room.

"Mikoto, please bring the red scroll from the bedroom."

Uchiha Fugaku instructed Uchiha Mikoto, who was bringing tea.

"Obito, you have excellent talent in Fire Release, but besides your hard work, learning from the experience of predecessors is also beneficial. I have some Fire Release cultivation techniques from past Uchiha clan leaders; you should take them home to study."

Uchiha Fugaku turned to Obito, smiling as he spoke.

"Techniques for cultivation, huh."

Obito was somewhat disappointed, having hoped it would be Advanced Fire Release Ninjutsu.

He felt cultivation techniques were less valuable than Advanced Fire Release because he wasn't good at reading and studying materials; researching these alone would be quite challenging.

"Obito, is there any Fire Release Ninjutsu you want to learn?"

Seeing this, Uchiha Fugaku asked, intending to accommodate Obito's growth needs based on his current performance.
