"If you can't handle losing, then practice more. If you can't take it, don't take the test. You never got first place before, and you won't now." Anko, reigning over the third grade for the entire year, had quite a bit of haki.
"But I did score a perfect on the theory once," Hagane Kotetsu said lazily.
"Well, that's not really an achievement to brag about. Has anyone not scored a perfect mark before?"
Fuming, Anko wanted to punch Kotetsu's teeth out.
Classmates around them: 6
"They're roasting us without saying much!"
"Kotetsu, how could you say that? While scoring a perfect isn't hard, it still requires effort in reading the books. For some who are all muscle, it's definitely impossible." Kamizuki Izumo chided Kotetsu, though he was actually saying something more infuriating to Anko.
"Damn it, looks like you didn't have a full breakfast and want a taste of my fist!" Anko rolled up her sleeves, ready to brawl.
But before Anko could make a move, she realized the other students in the classroom had surrounded the three of them.
"I've had enough of you guys, trash us all you want, but why include me?!"
"Every time before the exam, you say you're not in a good state, but then score high marks, no way!"
"Today's the last day at Ninja Academy, bros, let's take them down together. We might not have another chance!"
Anko was stunned, didn't expect the three of them had secretly accumulated so much resentment.
"Actually, I've also endured Anko and Kotetsu for a long time; I want to join you guys." Kamizuki Izumo tried to blend in.
But by then, the three were already surrounded, and Izumo couldn't succeed in squeezing out.
"My heart is connected with my bros, hit Izumo and Anko hard, feel the pain in my heart, so just go for Izumo and Anko." Hagane quickly said.
Anko gave up, her two good pals were too quick to sell her out, she wanted to speak but was interrupted.
"They're not weak, I'm the top of the grade, let me help you subdue them," Anko said swiftly.
But no one believed Anko and their words, the watching students rubbed their fists, eager to join.
"Hey, Teacher Mokgetsu." At this moment, a student noticed Mokgetsu walking in.
Instantly, all the students turned and looked at Mokgetsu, they hadn't seen Mokgetsu for quite some time.
"Hello everyone, long time no see. You haven't slacked off in your cultivation while I wasn't teaching you, have you?" Mokgetsu smiled and greeted the students.
Looking at that familiar, gentle smile, the students were all excited.
"No, our class has always been the strongest in the school."
They were worried that declining grades might affect Mokgetsu, so they always studied and cultivated diligently. The whole class had a great learning atmosphere.
"Hmm, everyone is very impressive." Mokgetsu smiled affirmatively.
The students below also broke into smiles, many had come early just to see Mokgetsu sooner.
"Now that Teacher Mokgetsu is here, everyone should sit properly and attend the last class." Kamizuki Izumo said solemnly.
Though the students surrounding them were a bit unwilling, they didn't want to disrupt Mokgetsu's class, and prepared to disperse.
"Sometimes venting emotions is not bad either." Mokgetsu walked to the podium, turned his back to the students and said.
Anko and Kotetsu sometimes really do unreasonable things.
The students instantly understood, and the loosely formed circle became tighter again.
Anko and the trio were dumbfounded, was the reunion day really going to start like this?
"Ahem." Just then, Mokgetsu's light cough sounded.
Anko instantly breathed a sigh of relief, she knew Teacher Mokgetsu wouldn't be someone who leaves others stranded.
"Remember, you still have exams later, be careful not to injure your hands." Mokgetsu reminded.
Hiss.
Anko took the breath she let out back in, staring wide-eyed in disbelief at Mokgetsu.
"Brothers, charge forward together!"
With a shout, the students in the classroom neatly gave a pat to each of the troublesome trio.
Classmates for three years, who could actually fight seriously? Though they often committed silly acts, Anko and the trio really brought a lot of fun and amusement.
After the squabble, each student quietly went back to their seat.
"Time flies, can't believe we're about to graduate and become ninjas." Kotetsu couldn't help but lament.
This time it was genuine, memories of the campus felt like yesterday, graduation arrived sooner than imagined.
"Yeah." Kamizuki Izumo nodded in agreement, his expression wistful.
At first, his earnest effort in school was meant to be a good student to attract girls, yet they were about to graduate and he still hadn't dated a girl.
Kamizuki Izumo counted his network sadly, finding he didn't have any close relationships with girls.
As for Anko, can she even be counted as a girl?
"Kotetsu, how are things with your neighborhood Mie?" Kamizuki Izumo asked curiously.
Jealous of Kotetsu having a childhood friend.
"Don't even bring it up, haven't seen her in half a year." Kotetsu sighed.
"Ha... no worries, with our talents, we'll surely be excellent ninjas, attracting many beautiful girls in the future." Kamizuki Izumo said, trying to control himself from laughing too openly, while comforting.
Being single isn't scary, what's scary is a good bro moving on.
"With you two's skills, attracting girls? At most you'll guard the gate." Anko retorted, still sore about being sold out quickly by the two.
Kamizuki Izumo and Kotetsu exchanged a knowing glance, smirked dismissively at such lowly sarcasm; they were top three in the grade, there's no degrading to gatekeeping for them.
