Chapter 933 - Chapter 459: A Method for World Peace? (Part 2)

Shisui pretended to look around, but in reality, he was keeping an eye on Yahiko with his peripheral vision.

Shisui thought that Kakashi wouldn't overlook such a simple matter, so there was only one possibility—Kakashi was probing the relationship between the Ninja Sect and the Hidden Rock.

"Haha, this is different from those training grounds outside the city. This is our internal training ground for the Ninja Sect, and it's not open to the public under normal circumstances." Yahiko replied with a smile.

"The reason why there are Hidden Rock Ninjas training there is because we accepted a training commission from The Hidden Rock Village to help them train their ninjas," Yahiko explained.

This wasn't a secret within the Ninja Sect and was information that could be made public.

Kakashi was a bit surprised. Training ninjas was such a private matter, yet the Hidden Rock dared to entrust it to the Ninja Sect, even if it was just a small part.

"Either the relationship between the Hidden Rock and the Ninja Sect is not simple, or the Hidden Rock has a deep understanding of the Ninja Sect," Kakashi judged in his heart.

"If you have any ideas, you can talk to your Hokage. As long as the commission fee is reasonable, our Ninja Sect would also accept training tasks from Konoha," Yahiko joked.

Currently, the Ninja Sect positions itself as neutral, accepting training tasks from any Ninja Village as long as the payment is sufficient.

Of course, Yahiko didn't really expect this casual mention to actually have Konoha approach them. He just thought that getting tasks was good, and if not, it didn't matter, as it was just a matter of saying more words.

Kakashi didn't think Konoha with Mokgetsu would need the Ninja Sect's help, nor could he imagine Konoha trusting them with training their ninjas. However, it was better to be polite, so Kakashi responded courteously.

The more Kakashi learned about the Ninja Sect, the more puzzled he became.

The Ninja Sect had a top-tier expert like Sosuke, and super-talents like Nagato, and even the Hidden Rock trusted them to train ninjas.

This Ninja Sect seemed to be flourishing, yet all the major events Yamato had told him about didn't involve the Ninja Sect at all.

"Obito, do you still remember saying you wanted to become Hokage and end the war?" Yahiko suddenly asked Obito.

"Of course, that's my ideal!" Obito said, puffing out his chest.

Yahiko and Nagato both smiled.

Yahiko smiled because Obito's answer carried no hesitation and retained that initial determination.

And Nagato smiled because, as fellow disciples of Mokgetsu, they shared similar ideals.

"Although the efforts of the Ninja Sect have improved security in the southern Land of Rain, the Ninja Sect isn't a ninja organization that seeks peace in just one place or one country; its goal is world peace!" Yahiko declared solemnly, expressing the Ninja Sect's objective.

Yahiko didn't have Mokgetsu's Identification Jutsu and couldn't see people's potential, but based on Obito's and others' current performance, even if he doesn't become Hokage, his influence in Konoha would not be small.

So Yahiko shared various accomplishments of the Ninja Sect with Kakashi and others to help them understand the Ninja Sect better.

World peace is a great ideal, but with the current strength of the Ninja Sect, achieving peace in the Land of Rain is already the limit; they need to unite more allies.

"Keep it up. If I really become Hokage, I will stand with the Ninja Sect to maintain world peace," Obito said earnestly.

Although Kakashi mentioned the Ninja Sect's intertwined relationship with the future evil Akatsuki organization, the current Ninja Sect is undoubtedly a force for justice.

Obito was working hard to improve himself for his ideal, and the Ninja Sect was already on the path of practicing its ideal.

Having learned about Sosuke and the Ninja Sect's feats, Obito greatly admired Sosuke and was impressed by the ninjas of the Ninja Sect.

"Though still not on the same level as Sage Mokgetsu, Sosuke, you're quite incredible," Obito thought with admiration.

Hearing Yahiko describe how Sosuke built the Ninja Sect from scratch, Obito almost felt like he was listening to a novel.

If nothing else, it was indeed a legendary experience.

By lecturing to seek and cultivate like-minded partners, transforming powerful rogue ninjas into allies, being betrayed by renowned senior ninja world figures yet turning the situation around with strength, and finally reconciling with the betraying seniors to jointly build the Land of Rain.

Considering Obito's years of reading experience, just add a plot about saving the princess of the Land of Rain, and it would surely be a bestseller.

"Then I wish you an early achievement in becoming Hokage, Obito," Yahiko said with a sincere smile.

"I'll try my best," Obito chuckled, scratching his head.

Kakashi observed the two with a calm expression.

Obito's ideal, while challenging, is not impossible, as Obito is strong and has two good mentors.

If he studies earnestly, Obito has a great chance of meeting all the requirements to become Hokage.

As for ending the war, although the Ninja World frequently experiences war, it is not devoid of peace. Typically, after an intense great war, there is a relatively peaceful period.

However, in Kakashi's view, Yahiko's ideal—or rather, the Ninja Sect's ideal—is utterly unattainable.

Even the tranquil period after the great wars in the Ninja World is not absolutely peaceful; there will still be localized conflicts, just without major wars.

And according to Yahiko, the Ninja Sect still pursues everlasting peace, which Kakashi deems impossible.

"Unless the Ninja Sect truly has a Six Paths Sage, and an immortal one at that," Kakashi thought.

All of Mokgetsu's disciples have studied history. The most peaceful period since the Ninja Village era, without a doubt, was the era of peace initiated by the First Hokage.

The Five Great Ninja Villages, representing the peak of the Ninja World, jointly signed a peace treaty, creating an unprecedented time of peace in the Ninja World.

But that peace wasn't because the early ninja of the villages were more civilized than later generations; it was because Senju Hashirama and the Konoha he represented had absolute power.

Didn't want peace? Then would you like to face the Wood Golem or the Complete Form Susanoo?

The Ninja Sect doesn't possess the power that early Konoha did, so even if Sosuke reached the heights of Senju Hashirama, achieving peace would be impossible. It would take the resurrection of the legendary Six Paths Sage to see any possibility.

As for eternal peace, it would indeed require an immortal Six Paths Sage.

That's why Kakashi believes the Ninja Sect's ideal is unachievable, for the Six Paths Sage will not return, nor can anyone attain immortality.

If the Six Paths Sage were immortal, the Ninja World wouldn't be as it is now.

"Perhaps precisely because of such naive ideals, a misfortune befell the Ninja Sect, eventually giving rise to the evil Akatsuki organization," Kakashi concluded by piecing together the information he had.

...

After leaving the conference hall, Mokgetsu silently left Six Paths City and found a secluded spot to test his newly acquired skill.

Before testing, Mokgetsu first used Perception Ninjutsu to sense, then the Byakugan to scan the area, and finally activated the Transparent World for further sensing.

After a thorough investigation, Mokgetsu began the test.

"Razor Leaf!"

Mokgetsu formed hand seals, concentrating his chakra and converting it into Wood Release Chakra, from which dozens of green leaves rapidly grew from his palm.

Swish swish!!

Once grown, the green leaves shot forward like flying knives toward the trees in front of Mokgetsu.

Crash!

A large number of green leaves pierced into the tree, cutting it down.

"This is quite fitting for Yamato," Mokgetsu noted after sensing the chakra consumption.

Razor Leaf had not only low consumption but also a considerable killing power against ninjas, significantly better than the Wood Releases Yamato learned in Root.

Next, Mokgetsu switched his target to stones and found that with more chakra, the power of the green leaves would further increase, allowing them to penetrate into the stone.

Having tested Razor Leaf, Mokgetsu skipped the Hard Vortex Water Blade and Earth Dragon Spear, directly focusing on condensing Fire Attribute Chakra to prepare for testing the Flame Vortex's specific performance.

Although Mokgetsu hadn't obtained Hard Vortex Water Blade from the system before, he had learned the Ninjutsu cultivation method from Sarutobi Hiruzen and practiced it independently.

Therefore, he didn't need to test it, as he was already familiar with the skills he learned personally.

The Earth Dragon Spear, meanwhile, was something he had received as a reward from class and had already tested it a long time ago.
