North Kessig came out on the twenty-third and cost them a broken forearm and four days of argument about a shaft, and Yinxin was on a workshop floor by the twenty-fourth and had got as far as sitting up by the twenty-eighth.
Twelve days last time. Eden would not say what this one would be until it was.
Twenty-one left.
That number had taken eight months to get to, and Jayde had been looking forward to writing it since Blazepeak, and she wrote it on the board at the first bell on the twenty-eighth and found that it did not do anything for her at all, because Eden had been standing at the other end of the shed since before light with her arms folded, waiting for her to finish.
