Chapter 495 - Chapter 459: The Alien Sea God Attacks

Rachel glared at the two boys, and her cape morphed a small piece of shadow into a tentacle that wobbled a bit before she turned to head towards the spaceship's main engine.

Gass and Garfield both swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

There were many people who had upset Raven in the past, all of whom were defeated by Raven's tentacle magic. Rachel would bind a boy into various embarrassing positions with these magical tentacles for people to see.

It was simply a fate worse than death.

"Why don't we disband? I'll go back to college, you keep scamming food and drinks at the zoo."

Gass said to Beast Boy beside him, finding it hard to imagine how Raven would torment them when they got back. It might be better to slip away quickly.

"I don't need to. Once you run away, I can just pin the blame on you." Garfield smiled slyly, like a villain: "So you better run."

Gass let out a helpless sigh. What could he do? Running or staying both seemed impossible.

........

"You scared them." Steel Armor said to Raven, operating the unfamiliar machine in front of her. The monitor looked like a washbasin, incredibly made of liquid.

As the spaceship operated, the symbols and patterns on these water waves continued to fluctuate.

Maybe alien fish-people liked it that way, but Earthlings would only feel dizzy looking at it.

Raven smugly tugged at her hood, looking down at the water's surface: "Hmph, who cares about them, they're all dummies."

"I can't make sense of these writings, just directly report the findings." Donna also took a glance, but the ghostly symbols were incomprehensible to her.

Steel Armor fiddled with the instrument somehow, and the patterns and symbols slightly enlarged.

"I can't understand either. If Lantern Hero were here, it would be great. The Lantern Ring could translate these."

Raven made a face, sticking out her tongue like a hanged ghost. Her translation magic was for intelligent creatures, and an alien computer was obviously not a magic recipient.

She couldn't provide any help at the moment. In fact, tech support was Steel Armor's role in the squad.

"Decrypting an unfamiliar language requires a vast amount of text samples and time, conditions we clearly don't have." Steel Armor pointed at the display, her finger dipping into the water causing some ripples: "But look here, there's a constantly changing set of values. I suspect it might be something's coordinates on Earth."

"This is your specialty; I have no standing to comment." Donna, related anything to technology, Steel Armor's word was as good as truth.

"So we can take this intelligence back for Batman to assess, but I couldn't find an external connection port on this device, or if there's one, I don't recognize it."

Steel Armor shrugged, indicating the absence of something akin to a USB port. Even Batman's Batmobile had external interfaces.

Donna thought for a moment and pulled out her smartphone.

Though it no longer had communication capability, its video and photo functions were still operational.

She held her phone above the basin, capturing a segment of the constantly changing values.

If this were indeed a moving coordinate track, a small data sample could allow Batman to deduce the target's route.

Even if Batman couldn't, she could still seek out Deathstroke.

She put away her phone. While Titan didn't achieve its original goal, it uncovered potentially useful intelligence, which was nice.

Then she noticed Rachel and Xiaona looking at her oddly.

"Why are you looking at me? Can't Amazonians use smartphones? My sister uses one too. It's necessary for human social interaction."

Rachel flashed an ambiguous smile, her eyes squinted into a line: "It's not about that. It's that your thinking seems to have changed. You weren't this savvy before. Tell me, did you learn this from 'that person'?"

"If you keep talking nonsense, I won't speak to you anymore." Donna's face reddened, and she changed the subject: "We've acquired the intel. Let's retreat and return to the Hall of Justice through the Blast Sound Pod."

But just then, a massive timestream vortex appeared in the bridge hall, and through the vortex arrived an old man with white hair and beard, red eyes.

He held a spear-like water formation tightly in his hand, while a storm gathered with lightning above his head.

Without uttering a word, he attacked the Titans almost immediately upon exiting the teleportation gate.

In just a few seconds, he demonstrated his power to them.

Whether it's the torrents, storms, or lightning he hurled, the Titans were unable to fend them off.

In his eyes, these Earthlings were like vermin in the ship's hull, mere pesky nuisances.

They also seemed like cockroaches clinging to his ship's deck, effortlessly flicked into the ocean to drown.

But dealing with pests was the responsibility of everyone on the ship, so he came, as a god, to personally deal with a few mortals.

Donna braced with her shield but was slammed into the wall by the torrents, the impact with the wall making her taste blood in her mouth.

She immediately realized this guy possessed power stronger than even Superman, a Cosmic Level deity.

And the Titan Squad, unless Raven lost control and rampaged, or summoned the Three Palace Demon, could not possibly face such an enemy.

Even the Justice League, confronting a Cosmic Level deity, would need to unite in battle.

Given that Earth's gods had now lost their divine powers, he was undoubtedly an alien god.

Alien gods derived their powers differently from those on Earth; they were more akin to Ancient Gods, deriving strength through self-training or followers' faith.

Earth, being a Primordial civilization, had no time for long development; Earth's gods opted for a shortcut, through stealing.

And now, they had no choice but to suffer the repercussions.

To cover for the still-breathing Donna, Steel Armor and Beast Boy charged toward the enemies.

Steel Armor raised the Warhammer high in his hand, while Beast Boy transformed into a more agile werewolf form.

But the enemy merely waved his hand lightly, and a Thunder shot from behind him, blasting a big hole in the floor, sending Steel Armor and Beast Boy flying as they cried out in pain.

The Alien Sea God swatted away the troublesome pest, then launched an attack on Raven.

Some very unfamiliar Dark Energy surged within her body; she was like a bomb. He had to deal with this target first. On Earth, are users of Cosmic Energy called Warlocks?

But it doesn't matter; if others are mere pests, then this Warlock is just a scorpion.

They are all just small insects and small animals; the latter's sting may hurt more, but he didn't want to be stung.

If only they hadn't occupied this ship, and the ship wasn't carrying the Sea God's last remaining marine creatures from the original planet, Zhen Hai could have sunk the ship directly.

Keep in mind, he has a whole Space Fleet outside the ship.

But the fish on the ship must survive; after conquering Earth's oceans, the Sea God Triumvirate will let these fishes live in the new seas.

The Titans guessed wrong. The frozen fish on the ship are not food but a batch of 'Survivors' in frozen dormancy.

He waved his hand, launching torrents at Raven, while the seawater around him transformed into long spears and sharp arrows.

Raven's Defense Magic has always been her weak point; her mind and soul defenses are strong, but her physical and magical defenses only have ordinary shields.

Facing another Warlock, she might hold up, but the opponent is a God, surpassing the shield's capacity.

At the critical moment, Gass stepped in front of her, using his Water Control Ability to form a barrier, while trying to slow down the opponent's water.

But even so, his Hard Water Shield was like glass, breaking into dense cracks.

This can only block one hit, and he is entirely not the opponent's match.

"Quickly! Donna, take the data to the Justice League!"

Gass decided to stay behind himself. He made a mistake before, and now he has to make amends, even if it means dying to hold off the Alien Sea God.

"Gass!"

Donna didn't want to leave; it made no sense for the Amazonians to retreat, leaving the Atlanteans behind.

"Donna, you are now the Captain of the Titans, lead them safely..."

However, as Gass and Donna spoke, the Alien Sea God wouldn't give them a moment to breathe. A mere barrier constructed of hard water is nothing before a Sea God who wields the Power of Water.

He didn't even use Divine Power again but clenched his fist and smashed it directly.

The Barrier broke with the sound, along with Gass who supported it, grasped in his hand like a fish out of water, trembling helplessly.

Zhen Hai Commander glanced at this Earth aquatic race, then slammed him onto the floor.

The enormous force directly pierced through the ship's structure, while Gass was sucked out of the spaceship by the external pressure difference, dropping like a meteor towards Earth.

"No!" Everyone cried out.

Gass has the physique of the Atlanteans and Hard Water Shield, shouldn't be a big problem, but now he is falling towards the ocean, and as soon as he touches that seawater, he will...

During Gass's passage through the atmosphere, the friction knows that it will wear down his Hard Water Barrier.

Still, Donna had no time to catch Gass, not even much time to think because the Alien Sea God showed a cruel smile, walking towards them with clenched fists.

He had discovered the Titans' weaknesses; he possesses absolute strength superiority, doesn't need any Magic Skills; he could just punch them into pancakes.

.............

On the Blood Reef, Sea King was being dragged by two Fish-Men, the aliens holding a sword and a great axe, seemingly intending to find a place to chop off his head.

Earlier he met Black Manta, and the Alien Sea God had deprived him of a special type of energy within him.

They extracted the power from Arthur's body and infused it into Black Manta.

Black Manta, representing the Destruction Legion, expressed great satisfaction with the collaboration.

"Such powerful strength, Arthur, you've lived like this all along." Black Manta toyed with Arthur like a punching bag.

And although Arthur still has the physique of the Atlanteans, his formerly invulnerable defense and high-speed self-healing ability seem to have vanished.

"Why can't I hear the ocean's voice anymore? What have you done to me?"

"This is the Power of Life, extraordinary power infused in you by the ocean; it's a Concept, and similarly, it's the power Aryan infused in the Divine Horn."

Black Manta flicked out the sharp fork on his uniform's arms, kindly explaining to the dying man.

And Admiral Nu Tao, the Alien Sea Goddess, crossed her arms, sitting on the Coral Throne, watching Black Manta brutalize Arthur, like watching beasts tearing apart a poor slave in a Colosseum.

But when Black Manta was about to deliver the finishing blow, Nu Tao stopped him.

She wanted Arthur to see Earth's destruction, experience the pain, as she could only watch her planet's destruction.

Black Manta, stopped but unhurried, knew Arthur was doomed in the aliens' hands, disdainfully kicking Arthur again, toppling him into the pool.

"You always had such strong power, could create Life, even traverse the Multiverse, connecting all seas to be at your disposal, yet you only use it to talk to fish? You are truly a fool."
