Chapter 1100 - Chapter 1037: Prank

While Deadpool and Peter were being scolded downstairs, Su Ming started playing with Peter's computer while listening to the scolding. I must say, a tech geek like Little Spider may be poor, but his computer setup is quite decent.

Since I'm in the future, naturally I have to go online to gather some intelligence, at least to check how Wilson Enterprises is doing.

Upon opening the browser, the majority of the news is about Thanos, as well as numerous reports of masses of dead people resurrecting, all sorts of news in fact.

Looks like Deadpool managed to have Death bring back all those who had died.

But don't assume Deadpool did it out of kindness; he doesn't have such a thing. He's probably thinking that some of these people might be potential future targets or clients, all linked to economic interests, too wasteful to die in vain.

It's been a while since I've typed, but typing is like riding a bicycle: once you learn, you can't forget. Su Ming skillfully tapped away at the keyboard.

Typing in the name of his company in the search engine, Su Ming found that the online reviews were very positive, claiming it to be the largest comprehensive conglomerate in America, encompassing departments like merchandise production and sales, ship and aircraft manufacturing, chain fast food, logistics, supermarkets, e-commerce, network media, tourism, all operating normally and the fact that he is Deathstroke remains unknown.

That's definitely a good thing, being low-key on Earth, it seems the cosmic plan has succeeded.

Casually, he looked up Kama Taiji, no news, which is also good; the secrets of the Magic Realm's crowd remain undiscovered.

Thinking of something, he looked up Stark Industries next, only to be bombarded with a ton of Tony's tabloid news, which makes sense, though it's curious that Tony and Little Chili don't seem that close.

Next, Su Ming checked on everyone from his memories. Well, there have been quite a few changes, and it's quite interesting.

Of course, this is just public information from the internet, hidden information surely can't be found online, but this much is enough. As long as the world doesn't deviate too far, Su Ming has confidence in the future.

He moved quickly, soon closing the browser, feeling the intelligence gathered was sufficient, and started looking for any little secrets or leverage from Peter's computer.

The crispy clicking of the mouse echoed in the room. The phosphorescent glow on the screen made the Black and Yellow Armor appear even more eerie, and the overhead light seemed to flicker more.

A few seconds later, Su Ming paused.

Seeing in Peter's computer's D drive was a folder named 'Manual Mode Drivers,' with 400GB in size, it caught his attention, plunging him in thought.

Could Tony have really corrupted Peter? Then making Deadpool interact with him, would it infect Peter with the clown virus? Should action be taken?

But after some thought, he decided to let things take their natural course. How bad can Little Spider really get? As a hidden pillar like Batman, Spider Hero is much more valuable than Iron Man.

The only downside is that Little Spider is too naive, as the polar opposite of Batman. Su Ming doesn't want to play babysitter, so letting Deadpool engage with him to maintain good relations would allow Su Ming to leverage Spider Hero through his blood relation with Deadpool, gaining an advantage in the future Spider Universe.

While pondering, Su Ming clicked open the folder, checked the box for displaying hidden items in the folder options, and instantly a swath of various formatted files appeared on the screen, truly a dazzling array, totaling over three hundred files.

"Tsk tsk, turns out it's Spider Armor driver backups, I thought it was something else." Su Ming casually rummaged through, making a sarcastic remark, apparently Peter is still just an innocent boy.

This backup is worthless, Iron Man left a backdoor in the Spider Armor allowing him to disable it anytime, Tony can be quite dark at times.

So, Su Ming simply closed the folder and opened the browser again, browsing Twitter online.

Peter's security awareness is still too weak; allowing the browser to save his account and password, Su Ming easily accessed his homepage.

What can I say, it's a bit pathetic, with only a handful of friends following him.

His close buddy Ned Leeds, his little girlfriend Michelle Jones, the rich handsome buddy Harry Osborn, a few classmates who are not even average looking, and one being Deadpool.

Regardless of Twitter or Facebook, Deadpool has followed over 100,000 people, even street beggars are among Deadpool's friends.

"Tony claims to like Peter, yet he doesn't even follow him back, no convincing power at all." While complaining, Su Ming pulled out a bottle of Skywalker 1925 vintage from his silk bag, holding it under the computer's webcam for a snap.

Then he used Peter's account to post the photo with the message: "Found a bottle of wine in the attic, seems pretty good."

After posting the update, he opened the wine bottle and downed it in one go.

By this time, the number of likes on his post began to rapidly increase, while the notification sound of private messages rang continuously, reaching 99+ friend requests in an instant.

Su Ming clicked open, noting the top message was from his hefty buddy Ned, typed in lightning speed: "You've struck it rich; I don't know the exact amount, but a Skywalker 1925 vintage, just thinking about it is terrifying."

At that moment, Ned was at his own home, rolling on his bed like a meatball, thrilled for Peter.

The second message came from Harry, his tone not too agitated, merely stating, "Starting at 400,000 at auctions, Peter you have to shout us a treat."

Harry's family is wealthy and established; money never stands as a barrier to his friendship with Peter, things just go as they do.

Michelle's message was simpler, just a question mark. In her impression, Peter's family wasn't doing well financially, but having such wine in the attic suggests once they were affluent.

Her father was imprisoned by Spider Hero for stealing Stark Industries' goods and sentenced to a few years. The engineering team's loan was barely paid off, the house sold, and the car gone. Now her family's financial situation was tough, and she feared Peter might turn bad with money.

She doesn't yet know Peter is Spider Hero, hence their relationship remains quite good.

Su Ming gleefully skimmed through the messages, accepting all the friend requests. After playfully typing back,

he again placed the empty bottle under the webcam for a shot and posted: "Why didn't you say earlier? I've drunk it all!"

As soon as this update came out, sounds of friends being deleted were heard one after another, with many private messages also being retracted.

The cruel reality never fails to amuse Su Ming.

Too real, gaining thousands of followers in three minutes, and back to just over a dozen friends three minutes later.

"You're amazing, gulping down tens of thousands at once, but no worries, just think of it as you've entered high society." Fatty Ned messaged again, even sending a laughing-crying emoji.

Harry sent a crying emoji: "Forget it, next time it's still on me for the meal."

Marshall consoled: "No worries, better than wasting it."

But then Su Ming saw a friend request from Tony, his flashy gold-red Iron Man avatar accompanied by a note: "No worries, come by Stark Tower when you have time. I've got plenty of this wine for you to drink to your heart's content, oh yes, bring your aunt."

That guy indeed has Friday monitoring Peter's online activity, so dark.

Su Ming rolled his eyes, dismissing the friend request. The good wine he sold to Howard, the older generation was loath to drink it, yet here it was becoming the prodigal son's boasting capital.

Seems like next time I return to the past, I should add a little something to the wine I sold to Howard...
