Chapter 1109 - Chapter 1046: Christmas Carols

Deadpool and Spider Hero returned together, just as Su Ming expected, Santa Claus had hidden the reindeer and the wife together.

When Peter managed to leverage Iron Man's connections and, after much effort, found them at the edge of the 'Wilderness' in Antarctica, he happened to see that Deadpool and Christmas Granny had already met up, while the reindeer were grazing not far away.

Unsure if it was an illusion, Peter felt that the way Christmas Granny looked at Deadpool was a bit strange... Was that the legendary bashfulness?

Peter gagged a little, nearly vomited his dinner, although he had seen many disgusting things done by Deadpool, this was still too much.

He had never imagined what it would look like for an elderly woman appearing to be in her seventies or eighties, gazing affectionately at Deadpool, but now he saw it.

Deadpool had made a long swing, the two sat together swaying, occasionally gazing deeply into each other's eyes, their laughter echoed like barbells around, Peter felt like his retinas and eardrums were going to be scorched through.

But luckily Wade was just killing time waiting for him, as for seducing Christmas Granny to take her back, it was just business.

So when he met Spider Hero, the three of them sat on a reindeer sleigh and returned to the Arctic.

However, the whole way Peter felt like sitting on pins and needles, as Christmas Granny's gaze was full of grievance, as if blaming him for disturbing her and Deadpool's private world.

After getting off the sleigh, even for this short walk, the old lady clung to Deadpool's arm, very close.

And Little Spider was as usual ignored.

"Xiaoli, do you think I am a good child?" Deadpool seemed unaware of anything wrong, letting the old lady hold his arm while bowing his head and asking softly.

Christmas Granny blushed a little, waves rippling on her wrinkled face: "Good, very good."

"Can I receive a satisfactory Christmas gift then?" Deadpool asked again, hugging the lady's shoulder while pushing open the door of the Christmas cottage.

"I'll give you whatever you want." Christmas Granny responded longingly, her whole person seemed to float, walking lightly, completely ignoring her environment.

"Ugh....."

Not far behind them, Peter saw their sweet interaction and couldn't help rolling his eyes and sticking out his tongue, finally realizing that his willpower was not as strong as he imagined.

Not to mention the two people in the room, Su Ming took a deep breath, suppressing the nausea with his willpower.

And Little Saint dropped the bag in his hand, feeling a bit envious like the mistletoe hanging on the wall.

"What... what have you done?" He extended his finger, questioning Wade with a trembling voice, the expression on his face was like he was constipated.

Hearing his words, Christmas Granny snapped back, and recoiled from Deadpool's arm as if shocked, covering her face with her apron: "No, we didn't do anything, just praised him for being a good child."

Santa Claus turned his gaze to Spider Hero, Peter helplessly nodded, fortunately, he was fast enough, if he had arrived any later, something might have happened.

Seeing the honest Peter confirm the wife's words, Little Saint also relaxed, and said: "It's just right you've returned, dear wife come help me dig out the gifts from the cellar, it's time to get to work."

Christmas Granny and Santa Claus headed towards the kitchen, she secretly turned back, revealing a toothless smile, making a phone gesture towards Deadpool.

Deadpool raised his hand, his five fingers opening and closing like a duck's mouth, only relaxing after seeing the pair enter the cellar, sitting on the sofa armrest bending down to pick up a bottle of wine and drinking.

"Too terrifying, I no longer look forward to Christmas, however, Christmas Granny promised me a satisfying gift, do you think she might kill me?"

He asked his cousin with a sense of trepidation, he's into beautiful women, old ladies aren't in his comfort zone, but Christmas Granny was too proactive, and for business, he had to sacrifice his broad shoulders.

Peter looked at Deadpool with dead fish eyes: "Thank you, now I am also not interested in Christmas, fairy tales are all lies."

Wade seemed oblivious to Peter's sarcasm, just waving his hand: "No need to thank, our relationship cannot be described in words, I have a great idea, isn't Tin Man pestering your aunt? Introduce him to Christmas Granny, that way we can all have peace."

Peter's eyes lit up, but soon he fell into conflict, would this be too dark to do?

In his heart, two little people seemed to begin a fierce battle, and under their feet, the balance scale wavered.

Su Ming clapped his hands, signaling for the two to focus on the task: "I just finished off a bunch of vampires, now the situation is like this..."

He clearly explained his conjectures and judgments to the two using concise language in a short time, and then assigned them new tasks, instructing them to go do their work and address any questions along the way.

"What about you? Cousin, are you going to sleep here while we work? And, why are you fiddling with your Godslayer?" Deadpool sharply pointed out what Deathstroke was doing, the platinum-colored weapon placed on cousin's lap, at the moment, was fixed as a drum-type corn thresher.

"Why ask, hurry and get to work, when you finish, I'll give you a Christmas present, the kind you want, you know." Su Ming winked at Wade.

"Is it a check worth millions of US dollars? Wait, actually, gold of equivalent value works too." Deadpool immediately started fantasizing.

Deathstroke poked him with a weapon: "Get to work. If you screw up, don't even think about getting anything from me again."

Deadpool lifted his mask and spat on the ground, revealing a confident smile: "Don't worry, my dear cousin. A few vampires are nothing to me, like cockroaches in a toilet, easy to handle. I'll release on them and then flush them away. You just sit tight here and wait for good news. By the way, Peter, quickly check the satellite phone, don't let my money slip away."

Watching Peter being dragged out of the cabin, Su Ming put away the Godslayer and walked to the back of the house, placing the Evil Energy Engine he brought back from Azeroth on the ground.

The large and heavy equipment pressed down a large area of the snow, and at this moment, it was still in the state it was in when removed, continuously spewing green evil energy light from the broken surrounding edges.

Su Ming circled the machine twice, sometimes lying on it, sometimes squatting down, carefully inspecting it.

Because there was no knowledge about this thing in his brain, everything had to be explored. What could be known for now was that the Evil Energy Engine was powered by souls, and it was still running, surely because it had energy supply, meaning there was a Soul Stone in the machine.

Whether it was an internal combustion or some other method at work didn't matter. Su Ming just wanted to test the effect of the Soul Stone on his little cousin.

Wade wants to die, wants to play with Death, maybe the Soul Stone can fulfill his wish.

Find someone to help extract his soul, store it in the Soul Stone, and then give the Soul Stone to Death. This was an idea Su Ming came up with to put Wade in a half-dead state, allowing him to meet Death.

Of course, doing anything is out of the question, at most they can just chat and get an eyeful.

And Su Ming doesn't come away empty-handed; he can use this as an opportunity to observe the little white rat and make studying the Evil Energy Engine more convenient in the future. If the Evil Energy Engine can really boost space exploration, then Su Ming would need to discuss terms with the Hell Demon Kings.

As for soul extraction, there are two people Su Ming can use, one is Black Queen Selene, her dark magic specializes in soul aspects.

The other is Netherworld Goddess Hel. She only needs to touch a living person, and with the divine power granted by the World Tree, she can drag their soul out.

Either of them would do, there's no need to take the demon deal route, and Su Ming is confident he can restrain them even decades from now.

After thinking it over, Su Ming decided to find Hel, partly for extracting his little cousin's soul, and partly to ask about other matters, such as Asgard's movements and what her relatives are up to.

As he thought, Su Ming reached deep into the Evil Energy Engine, a substantial amount of green strange liquid being squeezed out in the process. Even through the armor, he could feel a burn on the soul.

Not on a physical level, but just a peculiar feeling, like what he had felt inside Eclipse Star before.

However, this wasn't a place for detailed research. Su Ming avoided the still-operating transmission structure with his hand, carefully exploring near several openings of the engine. Finally, he dislodged a purple sphere, resembling a very dim pearl.

..............

When Wade has the drive, he can accomplish pretty much anything he wants. Just over half an hour later, before Santa Claus even set off to deliver gifts, he and Spider Hero were already back.

Deadpool was in tatters, even one of his swords was broken, and his dual guns were both lost. But seeing his sly smile, you knew he had won.

Peter, on the other hand, looked pale, constantly queasy. Even upon seeing Deathstroke, he couldn't speak, who knows what kind of shock he had been through.

Though vampires aren't considered humans and Wade killing them had no reason for Spider Hero to stop him, the process was so disgusting it couldn't be described.

"All sorted. I chopped their heads off and sun-dried them under the sunlight, then vacuumed the black ashes and flushed them down the toilet. So, where's my gift?"

Deadpool didn't care how dirty or stinky he was, he sat directly on the sofa armrest, leaving behind a deep red stain. It was hard to say whose blood it was.

Su Ming wasn't in the mood to mess with him and directly took out something from his pouch, showcasing a purple Soul Stone. This Soul Stone was large, almost the size of a basketball, giving Su Ming a sense of déjà vu, as if he had found something similar on the live Ghost Ship...

"What's this? Is my cousin's Christmas gift to me... a Dragon Pearl? But how do you use just one? I can't even see how many stars are inside!"

Wade hugged the Soul Stone, looking towards the glow of the fireplace, but he couldn't figure out how to use it at all.

Su Ming took back the Soul Stone, shook his head, and shouted towards the room: "Have you ever seen a purple Dragon Pearl? Little Saint, you should leave earlier and visit Spider Hero's house with him, his aunt's Christmas wish is to meet you."

"Alright, Supreme Mage." Santa Claus responded fluently: "You can take my sleigh and return to New York together."

Peter smiled wryly. A few hours ago, he was just like the other kids, full of wonderful fantasies about Santa Claus. But now, he wasn't sure if letting such an old geezer into his home was a good idea.

Even though the dressed-up Santa Claus looked no different from the fairy tale image, chubby, with a pointy hat and crescent-shaped glasses, his face beaming with a smile that could be seen even through his white beard, carrying a bulging sack full of candies and gifts.

But Spider Hero always felt something had changed. He lost something precious, experiencing the darkness of the adult world for the first time.
