Chapter 1108 - Chapter 1045: Good Brother

The red dot in the darkness seemed to float out directly, with a shape in the air abruptly transitioning from transparency to substance, the black and yellow armor suddenly hitting the ground, and the floorboards of the porch groaning under the weight.

"It's the Supreme Mage! Retreat!"

The leading Blood Race Sorcerer appeared to be knowledgeable, and upon seeing Deathstroke for the first time, immediately ordered his subordinates to retreat.

But is it the time when they can leave just because they want to?

"Confirming with eye contact, you are the person destined to die, I swing my sword and turn, while blood is like red lips..."

Only hearing Deathstroke sing in a demonic, hoarse voice a song they couldn't understand, his body accelerated abruptly, leaving an afterimage from stillness to extreme speed.

The huge golden cross in his hand was like a fly swatter, catching up with the scattered fleeing vampires, each downward strike from above would cause a Blood Race member to explode into blood mist on the spot.

The sound of banging was endless, and in the night, the red flowers in the snow blossomed silently under the moonlight.

The Blood Race Sorcerer had already begun to turn and flee; he transformed into a smoke of black mist, fleeing aimlessly into the distance.

However, his underlings had not bought him much time, and Deathstroke dispatched them within seconds, already catching up now.

His flight speed was extremely fast, initially still a few hundred meters away; in the blink of an eye, he was flying side by side with the black smoke.

"Friend, please stay."

He said this, even approaching a bit as if wanting to grab the black smoke with his hand.

Nevertheless, the bright strong light and current on the huge cross he was carrying caused the Blood Race Sorcerer to quickly change direction.

Su Ming sneered slightly; his opponent indeed fell into the trap.

In fact, in the face of a vampire turned smoky, still in such a place in mid-air inconvenient for using explosives or incendiary bullets, he was not certain at first what good method he could employ to handle the opponent.

But the opponent dodging his actions indicated that this black smoke had sight, thus still a weakness that could be targeted.

The Magic Floating Cloak's flight speed was even faster. No matter which direction it flew, Deathstroke would blockade it. "Don't leave, let me show you a treasure."

Saying that, Su Ming spread open his palm in front of the black smoke, revealing a small orb, black and yellow interwoven, with a small light rapidly flashing.

"Bang."

Just as the vampire instinctively looked over, accompanied by the sound of opening champagne, the small orb in his palm exploded, the instantaneous strong light causing dizziness and even reverting it to its original form, plummeting towards the ground.

Su Ming didn't even pursue, only stepping on the opponent in mid-air while strangulating, simultaneously stealing its satellite phone.

The ground erupted in a massive pit, snow and crushed ice soaring skyward, while the vampire with half its bones fractured hadn't managed to get up to cast a spell yet, incendiary bullets from the sky were already arriving.

With the purification through flames, the vampire emitted a series of tragic screams, gradually collapsing motionless to the ground.

Nevertheless, Su Ming still struck from afar, just in case, primarily to inspect whether any blood parasites were present inside these Blood Race members.

There were none; whether the minor leaders or the lower-level henchmen, they were pure Blood Race.

Su Ming pondered for a brief moment, swiftly returning to the Christmas Cabin.

Speaking of Santa Claus seemed to be getting into the role, upon entering the cabin, the old man was sitting on the sofa, calmly drinking.

"Alright, previously using the cabin as a base to defend against the Blood Race for a bit, luring them in to gather their manpower, now it seems we've wiped out all the nearby enemies." Su Ming removed his mask, putting away his weapon.

"Can I go deliver gifts now?" Santa Claus was a bit anxious, because he hadn't packed his things yet.

"Next, I will handle the naval ship and submarine launching missiles. I will give this satellite phone to Spider Hero, let him reverse track to locate the Blood Race's upper echelon, then let Deadpool finish off their leader, it's likely at least a Count-level Blood Race, I will personally notify Dracula... So yes, as long as the reindeer and sleigh are found, you can go deliver gifts."

Su Ming gave a very professional response. Little Saint showed respect to him, also providing compensation, so being more cordial wouldn't hurt, who knows when it might come in handy?

And just at this moment, perhaps due to the abrupt quiet from the earlier skirmish, someone finally came to investigate.

A golden Teleportation Gate appeared in front of the cabin's door, a Warlock clad in a dark brown cloak, holding a chicken leg-shaped Magic Staff in one hand, with a Giant Sword slung across the back, walked in.

The hooded cloak looked like a crow spreading its wings, black feathers on both shoulders dusted with snowflakes, beneath the brim of the hat, a face long, still sporting an alluring little stubble.

"Medivh?"

Su Ming raised an eyebrow, examining the opponent under the light of the fireplace. How to put it, this person's face seemed a bit familiar, but the attire even more so, wasn't this the Medivh image who moonlighted as a weapon warrior?

The newcomer sighed upon seeing Deathstroke, yet visibly relaxed: "Teacher, I've said many times, who Medivh is, I do not know, I am Strange."

Su Ming stroked his own stubble, realizing it now.

It seems that the future Doctor Strange still joined Kama Taiji, but somehow took a slight detour.

However, seeing him wielding the Giant Sword, he must greatly agree with his teacher's educational philosophy, so does this mean Strange is an outstanding graduate?

With the thought flashing by, Su Ming wore a kind smile on his face as he patted Strange's arm: "Why are you here?"

"One of The Avengers' bases is just two hundred kilometers north, and we've been monitoring the situation here after the previous skirmish. Seeing the battle ended, I came over to check things out."

Strange spoke as he removed the hood on his head, revealing carefully maintained wavy hair. He pulled out a beautiful oak pipe, slowly packing it with tobacco.

Of course, he didn't forget to greet Santa Claus, who was the host here.

"I see, how's your relationship with The Avengers now?"

Su Ming handed him a bottle of wine, which Strange naturally took and unscrewed to drink. You must know he used to be a surgeon, and wouldn't have much contact with alcohol.

But now he seems completely different, indulging in smoking, drinking, and hair styling.

Which is good, it confirms he's not a disguised Vampire.

"It was you, teacher, who said all Three Great Temples have Great Mages. Being such an outstanding graduate with nowhere to go, you placed me in The Avengers as a resident liaison officer." Strange, with smoke in one hand and wine in the other, took alternating swigs, feeling like a celestial, mana-bound.

But he roughly guessed that this is the teacher after using the Time Gem, knowing his existence but not clear about some details, probably due to time line issues.

So, the smart Strange didn't wait for Deathstroke to ask questions, and proactively began discussing some things about himself, naturally touching upon The Avengers matters.

It turns out, at this point in time, deep within the Arctic Circle, there's another Avengers base, codenamed 'Giant Statue', a Celestial Gods Group corpse excavated from glacier ice.

It's not very useful, as only the shell remains fixed in ice, with all internal structures disappeared, like a chrysalis.

So after examining it, The Avengers thought they could have fun with it.

Thus, Thor brought in Asgard style furniture, Tony installed a reactor and elevator inside the shell, Black Panther set up heating and water systems, while Scarlet Witch constructed floors and rooms.

Even unrelated Star Lord contributed a set of cosmos sound system to get a spot to crash.

Since then, this Celestial Gods shell has been used as another Avengers base; everyone has a room within the Celestial Gods shell, akin to a holiday villa.

Heroes are humans too, and they tire out; no one can be like Batman patrolling or handling crises daily all year round.

So whenever they want to see snowy views for vacation, they head to the Arctic Circle, take the elevator from the Giant Statue's toes to go inside, where they can ascend to the head of Celestial Gods Group, entering a hollow viewing hall, sitting on a wolf hide sofa by the fire, enjoying Northern landscape through the big glass windows in the eyes.

And on days like Christmas, Strange, who's without parents, along with Thunder God who secretly comes to Earth to find his girlfriend, holiday together here.

Thunder God doesn't celebrate Christmas, but this is a chance to be with Jane Foster, so he doesn't mind whatever the excuse.

"Hmm, nice, as long as you're happy with The Avengers, keep it that way. But don't neglect your martial arts." Su Ming nodded, saying that The Avengers seem slightly altered in style, perhaps influenced by himself?

But he did not show anything, just gently encouraging Doctor Strange.

Strange's face was already somewhat long, and getting serious made it look stricter. He nodded earnestly: "Don't worry, teacher, I've been determined to chop firewood five hundred times a day, frog leap a thousand times, tornado slash for ten minutes, plus bench press, yoga, and spinning, look at my muscles."

He rolled up his sleeves, showing a brawny arm quite comparable to Thunder God's, to the teacher.

"...Very good, I'm very gratified." Su Ming took a sip of wine, smiling more brilliantly: "Since you're here, help me with something, go and deal with the navy who fired missiles moments ago, and send Dracula a message that Deadpool is going after another one of his juniors."

"As you command, teacher."

Strange finished the wine with a tip of his neck, threw aside the bottle, and reached out to start drawing circles in the air. After stabilizing the Teleportation Gate, he unsheathed the Giant Sword behind him, departing with grandeur, smoke in mouth.

Little Saint had been sitting quietly on the side without interrupting, only responding with a brief smile when Strange greeted him.

Upon seeing Strange leave, Deathstroke had delegated all tasks out; he was curious: "Next what do you plan to do? Go with me to deliver gifts?"

"Don't have that in mind, I despise brats, I'll just wait here until Deadpool returns to reassign new tasks, and at last I still have to give my cousin a Christmas gift."

Su Ming pushed Little Saint off the couch and sat in his place, calmly polishing his knife.

Santa Claus picked up the cloth bag off the floor, retrieved his red uniform from behind the door, began stuffing it with cotton, making himself appear several sizes fatter.

"You're a good brother, very considerate of Deadpool."

Santa Claus was somewhat pleased; he loved seeing others' family happiness, familial love always moving him.

Su Ming's lips curved into a meaningful smile, Godslayer rapidly rotating among hand drill, drain cleaner, and rock impact drill: "Yes, I also think I'm great, huh..."
