Like he had nowhere else to be, Hans found the pool of the hotel and jumped into it. Then he was joined by Burino. He was followed a few minutes later by the likes of Javier and John, who found out he could put on a blindfold and continue onward with a reckless drop from the second story into the pool before using the blindfold to slow his descent into the water.
"Easy on the jumping, you could've hurt yourself doing that. Say, do you remember that time we took that detective out for lobster?"
"Oh yeah, that was a lot of fun!"
Javier, who wasn't present when they went to get lobster, was confused as the last time he'd spoken with a detective was when Loosy had snuck into the base of operations and tried to take Burino hostage.
"So what's the game plan?"
"Simple as always, we're going to send Hans into the heart of the beast. He's German and there's plenty of people who aren't accustomed to people like me and you."
Hans agreed but he had the problem that the people in World of Bayou were probably just accustomed to the likes of people who were more rural. Xenophobia was far more common, especially in the wake of the Vietnam War.
"I understand."
"The rest of the job should be up to us. That means that we need you to work down the defenses from the inside and we must launch an attack at night and then we can get in and help Hans make it off with the reactor. But then there's the factor of radiation. We need lead."
The thieves were amazed at the factor of how fast he could form a plan on so little. He truly was a genius. Bewildering them all.
