"Stop her quickly!"
Elfman, seeing that an incident was about to occur at his sister's wedding, shouted and leaped onto the roof to chase Erza.
Lucy exclaimed anxiously, "Elfman, you're supposed to be exiting with serious injury now!"
Natsu, who never planned on playing dead, was the first to respond, "Did the script change? I'll be Erza's opponent!"
Lucy shouted, "Natsu, don't cause any more trouble!"
Reby, however, retorted, "Lu, don't worry about that now. Tell them to stop Erza first! Otherwise..."
Otherwise, there will be two brides.
If Sister Mira thought two brides were in her script... Reby couldn't imagine the consequences.
The two screenwriters and directors issued completely different instructions, and everyone didn't know whom to listen to, so they just performed according to their preferences.
Those who wanted to fight, like Gajeel, went along to stop Erza, while those who wanted to maintain the storyline, like Marcus and Wolian, lay on the ground pretending to be dead.
Laxus, who was very curious about the Throat of Dishonor, took the opportunity to fake a fight with Fried and Biguslo, pretending to test its power seriously.
Meanwhile, the bridesmaids were still pulling and tugging with Jubia, causing a chaotic scene.
Lidas, doing a sit-up, pulled out his brush to capture this scene that matched the guild's style so well.
Rhode pressed his forehead, realizing the chaos came sooner than he had imagined.
He first added a few more defense magic arrays to protect his house, then thought about how to proceed.
Although there was some chaos now, it wasn't a big issue. He knew leaving everything to Lucy and the others for planning would definitely cause trouble, so he had backup plans.
"Rhode, here, over here!" Mira leaned out of the window, waving at Rhode.
Rhode jumped up skillfully, climbed through the window, and asked, "What's up? Getting impatient? I'll go take them down now."
"No, it's not that." Mira raised her hand to tidy Rhode's hair, then tugged at the creases on his lapel, stepping back half a step to take a good look, "Sure enough, even up close you're really handsome."
Rhode didn't expect her to suddenly blurt out such a comment at this moment, but these simple compliments were more pleasant than the previous mushy romantic lines.
"Though I'm happy to hear you say that, now doesn't really seem like the time for this, right?" Rhode cupped Mira's cheeks, gently rubbing her face, "It's still a mess outside."
"Don't mess up the makeup." Mira caught his hand, asking, "What's your plan?"
Rhode said, "The simpler method would be to use some flashy but impractical magic like before to send the Throat of Dishonor back early and wrap this up.
"There's also a slightly more difficult plan: charge in during the chaos, knock down and drag away the troublemakers, and proceed as usual.
"Worst case... I can just hold you tight and elope, see if Erza loses it and chases after us, and the chaos resolves itself, haha."
Mira's eyes lit up, "That's it! Let's elope!"
"..." Rhode looked at Mira helplessly, "That last option was obviously a joke."
Mira puffed her cheeks, feeling that plan was the most fun.
Just then, the window was suddenly sealed with a thin layer of ice, presumably by Gray's magic, who even thoughtfully sculpted it to resemble a window lattice.
In confusion, the two heard Mebius's voice in their minds: "Now, listen to my command! The groom should crash out of there with the bride!"
"..." Rhode and Mira exchanged a glance, seeing confusion in each other's eyes.
Mebius urged, "Act quickly! Reby, Macao, and Wakaba are ready to use magic to draw the background! Third Generation, focus on the light effects!"
Mira took the initiative to wrap her arms around Rhode's neck, smiling as she said, "Let's do what the first generation said!"
"...Alright." Rhode figured the first generation must have a reliable plan, so he adjusted Mira's long dress, picked her up, protected her head, and leapt towards the thin layer of ice.
Rhode, dressed in a blue prince outfit, holding Mira, who wore a red princess dress, jumped out of the window, soaring through the air.
Purple flames and pink smoke quickly drew two hearts in the air while Reby's fingers moved rapidly, filling the hearts with countless flowers and butterflies.
Crystalline ice shards fluttered around them, illuminated into glowing dots by Makarov's light magic.
"Moo~~~" Warm understandingly rushed to the right spot, letting Rhode land with Mira accurately on its head.
Seeing Mebius float over, Rhode asked quietly in suspicion, "First Generation, what is this?"
Mebius didn't immediately respond, continuing to issue orders to others:
"Laxus, Gajeel, Elfman, and the Thunder God Tribe, continue battling the King of Magical Beasts."
"Natsu, use flames to attack Erza's skirt hem, and Wendy, help Natsu with defense!"
"..." Rhode felt strange; this felt exactly like a raid strategy in an online game!
Natsu actually followed the orders, spewing a flame that singed a fingernail-sized part of Erza's skirt hem.
—That was her decisive bridal gown set she switched into when charging toward the Throat of Dishonor, even the longsword in her hand was decorated with ribbons and flowers.
Erza immediately shifted her target: "Natsu... how dare you!"
"Hahaha... come at me, Erza... waah!" Natsu laughed wildly for two seconds before getting punched by Erza.
Luckily, Wendy had applied defense magic, so Natsu could continue hopping around, drawing aggro.
"Now, the groom and bride, start running away!"
At the moment Mebius turned to look at him, Rhode understood the situation— the first generation was also getting into the spirit of fun.
Their eyes were so wide with little twinkling stars, almost as if the words "so much fun" were written on their face.
"Gray, stop Jubia and bring her to follow Rhode!"
"Elfman..."
Mebius continued giving orders one by one, and the lively scene was gradually taking on a hint of order amidst the chaos.
Rhode and Mira sat on Warm, starting their retreat as the band followed behind.
Jubia quieted down right when Gray picked her up and obediently rode on a flower float.
The other groomsmen and bridesmaids were also retreating from the battlefield in pairs under Mebius's direction, leaving only Erza still chasing Natsu.
Rhode held Mira by the waist, both of them waving to the roadside audience and he quietly sighed to Mira, "Is this how the Fairy Tail Strategist's talent should be utilized?"
Mira said happily, "I didn't expect even the first generation to come, it's really reassuring."
"..." Rhode used to think the first generation must be reliable, but now he wasn't so sure.
Even though her title was the Fairy Tail Strategist, she was after all a member of Fairy Tail and the founder at that.
The spectators, unaware of the day's unexpected events, continued to applaud the spectacular performance, though some people also felt a little puzzled:
"Wasn't the groom supposed to rescue the bride and bridesmaids with the groomsmen? Why did the groomsmen and bridesmaids start fighting?"
"The role played by the Fairy Queen seemed to be the bride's rival, not a bridesmaid, right?"
"Whatever, there weren't such plotlines in the previous Magical Parades to watch, as long as it's exciting, isn't that enough!"
"Who would've thought the Fairy Queen's acting is actually so superb!"
