Nami replied, "He's not here… this place…"
Zoro broke into a sweat. "Don't tell me…"
Barry cried anxiously, "What is he doing, acting on his own?!"
Zambai added, "That guy completely ignored the battle plan!"
Nami sighed helplessly. "It was all for nothing."
Sanji, with wide, fish-like eyes, said, "He clearly said 'I understand' just now."
Sandy waved dismissively. "Luffy's approach is correct."
Zoro blinked. "Correct? He's just messing around."
Sandy rolled his eyes. "With the difference in military strength, do we really have enough numbers to attack? Luffy is probably trying to disrupt their deployment inside."
Usopp exclaimed, "So that's his plan? Luffy has that kind of brain?"
Sandy spread his hands. "Enies Lobby is critical. The guards inside are skilled, and their forces are strong. I doubt their formation will collapse, but attracting some forces is possible.
Everyone, this will be a tough fight. Find your positions, retreat if needed, but don't die!"
"Muhahaha," Kokoro chuckled. "He's probably impatient, isn't he?"
Sandy held his head. "So I was overthinking it?"
Zoro stroked his chin. "Grany Kokoro's probably closer to the truth."
Usopp asked, "Sandy, what are you doing now?"
Sandy squatted in a corner, drawing circles on the floor. "Luffy, I curse you to have diarrhea tonight…"
"..." Everyone stared.
After a while, Sandy stood and said, "Later, all of you will stay in the carriages. The Sea Train can't stop. I'll use my ability to transfer you out when needed."
"Oh, right!" Nami exclaimed. "Sandy, you're the most reliable."
"Nami-san," Sanji's eyes turned into hearts. "Actually, I'm reliable too. Let me protect you…"
"Ah."
Usopp flopped to the floor. "I have a disease—I can't leave the train."
"Really, Sniper King?" Chopper asked. "Are you okay? Let me check…"
Zoro smirked. "Then stay in the train and be destroyed along with this Sea Train that has no brakes."
"..." Usopp fell silent.
Barry spoke up, "Since that's settled, we'll move ahead. Let's go, brothers."
"Woooh!!"
Luffy used his rubber powers to catapult himself into Enies Lobby's main gate.
The Franky Family and Carrera Company employees rode Emperor Bull, pulled by two Sea Kings, entering through the gate, while the Rocketman circled the island along the tracks.
Elsewhere, Robin and Franky were being taken to Enies Lobby Headquarters, where Spandam, the overall commander, awaited.
After formal interrogation, they would be transferred to the island opposite the main island, the last one before the Gate of Justice. This required lowering the huge drawbridge.
At this moment, Spandam received a den den mushi call.
"Main island calling commander. Straw Hat Boy Luffy has invaded the main island."
"Nani?!" Spandam shouted. "You let him enter? What happened? Weren't there two giants guarding the main gate? Were they defeated too?"
The other end replied, "No… it's still the middle of the night. They're probably sleeping."
Furious, Spandam yelled, "Sleeping? Wake them immediately! And alert all guards on the island!"
After scolding, he hung up.
"Such invaders, no need to fuss," Jabura said lazily from the sofa.
Cipher Pol 9 has nine members. Apart from Lucci and the four undercover agents in Water 7, three remained in this room. The other two had been removed.
Jabura: Wolf form, Animal-Animal Devil Fruit user.
Wanze: Long white hair, master of Life Return.
Fukurou: Giant dumpling-like figure with a long zipper for a mouth.
Spandam stood. "Don't talk nonsense. This is the World Government's island of justice, bearing a sacred symbol.
Even the stupidest person should understand the disgrace of allowing an invasion. Rescuing a single companion is completely unacceptable."
Meanwhile, a guard reporting casualties had been knocked out mid-sentence, so Spandam believed only five guards were injured. Proudly, he hung up the den den mushi.
Not long after, Robin and Franky, escorted by Lucci and the others, were brought in.
Fukurou began testing the Doriki values of each Cipher Pol 9 member:
Ordinary Navy soldier: 10
Kalifa: 630
Fukurou: 800
Wanze: 810
Blueno: 820
Jabura: 2180
Kaku: 2200
Lucci: 4000
Jabura asked doubtfully, "Fukurou, even Kaku is stronger than me? What's going on?"
"Chapapa," Fukurou said. "Kaku has grown stronger too."
Jabura stepped in front of Kaku. "Don't get carried away. Doriki is just a measure of physical skill. I'll add my Devil Fruit power—I won't lose to you!"
Kaku replied indifferently, "Think whatever you want. I'm not interested."
Lucci stood between them. "A wild dog's random barking—ignore it."
"Wild dog?" Jabura barked. "Lucci, you weird-faced cat!"
Immediately, both activated their abilities—Lucci as a giant leopard, Jabura as a wolf. They confronted each other.
Kalifa stepped forward. "I told you two to stop—"
After this greeting, Cipher Pol 9 got to business.
Spandam said sternly, "You've worked hard on this five-year mission. Not only capturing Nico Robin, but also that hateful Cutty Flam.
Well done. The world will praise you. I am proud as your commander. I have something for you as a reward—but first, I want to see them…"
