Third Person's POV
Evelyn smiled the moment she saw Rafael waiting in front of her office after her last patient left.
"You could've just called me to your office if you needed me. Why are you waiting here like a patient?" she asked.
"Because I came here as a guardian," Rafael said, straight to the point, offering a faint smile.
"Come in."
They stepped into her office and took seats across from each other on the guest sofa.
"What do you mean by guardian?" Evelyn asked again, crossing her legs.
"It's about one of my boys. Roey. Do you think you can accompany him through a series of tests to see if he can become a bone marrow donor?" Rafael asked, firm.
The question caught Evelyn off guard. The way he asked it—so direct, no hesitation.
"Rafael… bone marrow donation isn't like donating blood. Can you explain this in more detail?"
She noticed the slight flinch. His cold composure made it sound easy, but something underneath was storming—something he didn't want to face.
