I continued focusing on making Dragon Ball chapters and writing new volumes of Tensura. And of course, I also focused on filming "Piece of My Heart," which won't take much longer to finish.
I only need to keep filming for a little under a month at most.
Since I don't make a single mistake during filming, scenes are always completed very quickly.
The series will only have ten episodes, and it will only start airing once all filming has been completed—around the end of June, next month. Right now, it's May, the month Dragon Ball will finally be published.
However, the release won't happen for another five days, on May 26th.
And speaking of Dragon Ball, I've already finished all the chapters, and now I'm thinking about which manga I should make next. Should I draw another classic shounen? Should I continue Dragon Ball? Or should I create something more "different," like JoJo or Baki?
Would people in this world even enjoy something like that?
There's no guarantee that everything successful in my old world would also become successful here.
Even if the narrative quality is superior.
Another important thing that happened over the last few weeks was that the journalist who leaked my information was prosecuted with stalking and invasion of privacy. She wasn't arrested, but she's facing a very serious lawsuit filed by Amuse Inc.
I'm grateful to them for that.
And the most important thing, in my opinion, is that production for the movie Koe no Katachi has officially begun.
I talk to Asuna by email every day. I'm even helping with the storyboard. There was nothing about that in the contract, but I thought it would be fun to participate in things like this.
And yes, it's difficult.
It's harder than drawing illustrations or making manga, but Asuna told me, "You're really talented at this. You should work in animation."
And I immediately discarded the idea.
Writing and acting are already more than enough for now.
"Kyo, your father and I are heading out. Lunch is in the fridge. Heat it up when you're ready to eat." My mother suddenly walked into my room.
"Alright. Have a good trip."
"You're really going to be okay by yourself, right? What if that happens again?"
"You mean the crazy fans? It'll be fine."
"Okay, but be careful."
My mother left the room.
She and my father are going on a two-week trip to China because it's their twentieth wedding anniversary. Yes, my parents got married when my mother was twenty and my father was twenty-two. They married very young.
And of course, I paid for the trip myself. I insisted on doing it.
"Being home alone for two weeks is going to be a little boring. It's a shame I don't really have many friends to invite over."
The only person I talk to every day is Miu.
Even during the two weeks I stopped going to school, I talked to her every single day.
Nowadays, I can go to school peacefully without being harassed, but it took two weeks for that to become possible. One week after the chaos at the school gates, I held a press conference for several journalists.
And after the interview, some fans kept showing up at my school for another week.
But eventually they stopped gathering outside the school, and I was finally able to attend classes normally again. The only "harassment" I still deal with comes from my classmates and students from other classes.
"But speaking of the interview… I was way more nervous than I expected." I gave a bitter smile as I remembered the day of the press conference.

POV: Third Person
Kyo Evans—or rather, Aoi Haruki.
After his identity was leaked, everyone wanted an interview with him. Emails flooded both his publishers and his agency. There were so many that the companies eventually gave up trying to respond to all of them.
They only replied to the emails from major news outlets, and of course, they denied the interview requests.
But despite refusing interviews, they included one important piece of information in every response.
[A press conference will be scheduled for next week.]
After that, a joint public announcement from the agency and the publisher handling Aoi Haruki's novels was released.
A press conference would officially take place.
It wasn't just journalists who became excited about this—Aoi Haruki's fans were also thrilled. They wanted to know more about the author they admired so much. They knew his face now, but they still knew almost nothing about him.
Aoi Haruki had never posted much about his life on social media, only random comments and a few pictures on Instagram.
He was Aoi Haruki. Even though he was young, he must have had an exciting life, right? Surely his days were filled with excitement.
But contrary to what his fans imagined, that wasn't really the case.
"Kyo, are you ready?"
Kyo, hidden behind the stage that had been set up, stood beside Rina and Rikuya. He could already hear the voices of journalists on the other side.
The moment he stepped out there, he would be bombarded with camera flashes.
"I'm a little nervous, but it'll be fine."
"Good. Mr. Rikuya and I will stay with you. Rikuya will lead the interview."
"Alright."
"Don't be afraid, there are plenty of security guards around."
"I'm not worried about being attacked by a journalist." Kyo smiled at Rina, and she smiled back at him.
After exchanging a nod, they headed toward the press conference.
'Damn, what is this?'
The moment they walked through the doors, camera flashes exploded in his face. Kyo instinctively raised his arm. He kept walking before finally sitting down in the middle of the long table, a microphone positioned in front of him.
After a few seconds, the camera flashes finally stopped.
'There are more people than I expected…'
Kyo was surprised when he saw the sea of people before him. More than a hundred journalists were there.
His heart started racing, and he began feeling nervous.
'Calm down, Kyo. It'll be alright.'
Kyo smiled at the people in front of him, and Mr. Rikuya announced:
"Now, the very first interview with actor Kyo Evans will begin!"
Rikuya referred to him as an "actor," even though 90% of the journalists there were actually interested in the "author."
Kyo laughed internally.
'My hands are freezing cold.'
