Stregobor didn't seem truly offended by Cadmus's words; in his eyes, the young wizard had a great amount of magic but lacked experience or many spells to fight against him, a veteran wizard.
"I see, then you can become my puppet." Stregobor said with a cold tone as the jewel on his staff shone like never before. Unlike controlling Jonos, controlling another wizard was not so easy, especially if the wizard had a large amount of magical energy.
Fortunately, he, Stregobor, was a genius!!!
If Cadmus heard Stregobor's thoughts, he would have laughed disdainfully. He truly wasn't a genius, but a monster in terms of talents. Quantity of spells? Although the spells of this world and the Harry Potter World are a bit different, they are essentially the same thing.
"I created a special spell, it's called wizard killer." Cadmus said with a cold tone. He extended his hand and made a gun gesture with his hand. "It's simple, it pierces magical shields and implodes the enemy. It's perfect for killing wizards."
"Bang!" Cadmus said with a laugh that sent shivers down the spines of all the wizards present. The next moment, a wizard about twenty years old didn't even have time, and half of his body exploded into a cloud of blood and organs.
Stregobor's face became solemn; he could be arrogant, but being arrogant doesn't mean being foolish. The other's spell could not only pierce magical shields but also attack the body from within. Despite this, the wizard didn't think this magic was invincible; it probably could only pierce magical shields of wizards weaker than the wizard himself.
If Cadmus knew his thoughts, he would have clapped, because that was exactly it: the Invisible Bullet couldn't pierce other wizards' shields so quickly or invisibly; it was an excellent weapon for killing weak wizards.
"Retreat to Riverrun!" Stregobor couldn't let the remaining twenty-nine wizards die at Cadmus's hands. If he returned to Ban Ard alone, he would probably be expelled from the academy for taking the lives of thirty precious wizards. This was a loss that even Ban Ard felt pain.
Casters didn't even wait for Stregobor to finish speaking and tried to conjure the portal spell; however, to the horror and disbelief of the casters, the portal didn't form!!!
"Do you think I would let you escape?" Cadmus said with a cold and even sadistic laugh. "You all have to die here."
Knowing that Stregobor and these wizards came to kill Daenerys, Cadmus had already decreed the death of everyone present. As a husband, a man, and personally, how could Cadmus let these bastards hurt his wife?
Pointing at the younger wizards, Cadmus began to kill everyone with the Invisible Bullet; with each shot, a cloud of blood hung in the air before falling to the ground; screams of despair and horror filled the battlefield.
How could Stregobor allow such a massacre to continue? In less than thirty seconds, four wizards had already died, five with the first wizard to be killed. Twenty-six remained, including himself.
"Enough!" Stregobor's furious voice echoed on the battlefield, making the wizards finally stop feeling terror and start fighting back.
Seeing this, Cadmus parried the two spells of the four elements from the enemy wizards. Earth, Air, Fire, and Earth. All kinds of elemental magic advanced against him. With both hands, he forced the spells to deflect to the side.
He looked like an extremely efficient machine in the face of the abnormal quantity of spells. Every action, every step, every thought, all seemed synchronized, perfectly controlling the battlefield.
Stregobor was shocked to see just one wizard fight against more than twenty other systematically trained wizards with such perfection. At that moment, he realized that it wouldn't be so easy to kill Daenerys. Not when such a monster protected the Cursed One.
With a flick of his staff, the space around him changed, transforming into a huge wave of water and advancing towards Cadmus with an unstoppable feeling.
"Huh?" Cadmus was surprised to see the huge wave of water ten meters high coming towards him!
When he was about to cut the wave in half with a cutting spell, Cadmus felt danger behind him and forced his body to the side, watching a fire arrow pass a few centimeters from his cheek.
"You dodged." Stregobor, who had appeared behind Cadmus, commented with a tone of regret; he knew the enemy wouldn't fall for the same trick a second time.
Cadmus looked at Stregobor and understood that the water wave was an illusion. Honestly, he was surprised by the illusion; even he noticed nothing wrong with the water wave, as if it were really water. Which showed that Stregobor's mastery of illusionary arts was genuinely powerful; it wasn't a false reputation.
"Good illusion." Cadmus praised the enemy without feeling pressured; he was indeed a master of illusionary arts. "But it seems no one knows that the famous illusionist is also versatile in pyromancy."
The fire arrow was real fire, which is why Cadmus felt danger, showing that Stregobor studied other branches of magic. Which, if you think about it, he was a wizard hundreds of years old; it wasn't difficult to learn a few more branches of magic at such an age.
Stregobor was not happy with the compliment, as he heard the enemy's words as sarcasm. The wizard waved his staff, and behind him, ten gigantic fireballs with a diameter of two meters manifested. The terrible heat violently distorted the air.
"You dare use fire against me?" Cadmus murmured with a touch of disdain on his face; he dodged the spells cast by the wizards around and with a flick of his hand. With a flick of his hand, a white flame manifested in his hand; he acted as if he were holding an invisible bow and pointed at Stregobor.
Remembering the charismatic villain from Jujutsu Kaisen, Cadmus whispered coldly.
"Fuga."
The instant the white fire arrow appeared, the air became so hot that people could see mirages around it.
Stregobor remained calm in the face of Cadmus's seemingly unstoppable attack; the wizard showed no fear and attacked with ten enormous fireballs.
Cadmus also cast his spell.
The fire arrow tore through the air in a mere instant, incinerating everything in its path, including space itself, reaching Stregobor in an instant.
At the same moment, the ten fireballs hit the ground around Cadmus, the terrible flames completely engulfing his body.
BOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!
The sound similar to thunder reverberated throughout the battlefield; the House Bracken army, which was leaderless with the death of Jonos and other nobles in the castle, watched in terror the battle of gods tens of kilometers away.
Everything within a fifty-meter radius of Cadmus's Fire Arrow turned into bubbling magma; the smell of burning flesh hung in the air; some unlucky wizards were too close to the Fire Arrow and turned into charred, blackened bodies falling apart.
Cadmus emerged from the flames fully protected by a Protego; his green eyes swept the hot, blackened, and smoky environment. The wizard frowned and ignored other magic users around. They were too weak to pose any real threat to him.
"It's not his real body." Cadmus murmured, not even seeing Stregobor's ashes on the ground. Which was impossible, even with all the heat of the Fire Arrow.
"Illusion magic is really problematic." Cadmus said, looking at Stregobor, who appeared before him. Soon after, it wasn't just one, but hundreds of Stregobors appeared around him.
"You cannot defeat me, Wizard." Stregobor said with a calm, but undeniably arrogant tone. The hundreds of pairs of eyes staring at Cadmus with a look of superiority.
"You make it sound like hiding makes you invincible." Cadmus said with a touch of sarcasm; he extended his hand and spoke again. "Let me show you what true fire magic really is."
With a thought from Cadmus, a gigantic amount of orange-red fire swept the environment with a loud hum and surrounded Cadmus at high speed. With the size of a huge fire cloud, a gigantic fire tornado hundreds of meters high rose towards the sky.
Damn! Stregobor looked up and was shocked by the gigantic fire tornado, which looked like an infernal finger coming from the sky.
"See what real magic is, Stregobor." Cadmus said with a cold tone.
"Firestorm."
