Once again, Leon's inexperience with Neon Beasts reared its head.
Unlike Ascended were there were only 5 main Classes, and 3 Specializations for each Class that Leon had memorized by now, Neon Beasts were different.
What made them truly dangerous was not their physical might or mutations, instead, it was the fact that at high ranks, these monsters possessed mystical abilities that were different with each Neon Beast- just like the massive Serpent that he fought that could burrow through the ground.
Clearly, the strange golem had a strange ability that enabled it to see through stealth and illusions and to see through obstacles.
The Neon Beast was staring right at him!

Leon only had time to blink before the Neon Beast let out a growl that somehow sounded like the sound of a generator turning on, and then the monster turned into a blur of bluish black steel, rapidly surging in his direction.
Leon blinked again.
