And you can't blame them, afterall, which D Rank Ascended in his right mind would lunge head-first into a mass of Neon Beasts with a good chunk of them being all D Rank? That was suicidal.
That was like a mundane Geneform jumping into a pit of venomous snakes!
No other D Rank Ascended would dare attempt such a maneuver except other Warmachine Specialists.
Afterall, no matter how skilled, technical, and powerful a D Rank Ascended is, almost all their abilities relied on active ADE use to work. And in terms of raw physicality, they can't even rival a single D Rank Neon Beast not to talk of a horde.
In a battle of this scale, even if they can kill a few D Rank Neon Beasts immediately, even if they can slaughter dozens, eventually, they were going to become overwhelmed simply due to the limitation of ADE.
