However, the golden light simultaneously transformed into a golden unicorn, lowering its head, aiming at the fire dragon, and galloping heroically with all four hooves.
The fire dragon had no capability to fight back, being pierced with several transparent holes by the golden unicorn's charge, and ultimately howled silently, dissipating into a wisp of black smoke within the treasure vault.
"I never thought there was a solution like this," Ring said with amazement, "This replication spell and flame spell are generally used to safeguard these expensive vaults."
"Then why doesn't my vault have this kind of protection?" Vivi looked at Ring with discontent.
"Because you didn't pay the annual 500 Galleons storage fee, Miss Grindelwald," Ring responded with steady composure.
Vivi suddenly fell into silence.
There was no choice, for the Old Viennese habit of fearing poverty had ingrained a reluctance to spend a penny unnecessarily.
Five hundred Galleons a year was as distressing as death to her.
What?
You say my vault has over two million Galleons, not lacking this bit of money?
No! It is lacking! Very much so!
This was all saved bit by bit! Absolutely cannot be squandered!
"We need to find a portrait and a ring," Harry said to Ring, "You know, the portrait of Omnius Gaunt."
"There isn't a portrait of Mr. Gaunt here, nor any ring." Ring glanced at the list and said regretfully, "I'm sorry, Mr. Potter, but that's the truth... I haven't found the things you mentioned on the list."
Harry looked up, gazing at the mountain of treasures.
To his surprise, at the very top of these treasures, pierced Gryffindor's sword.
"Is this Gryffindor's sword?" Harry pointed to the sword and asked.
Ring hesitantly nodded, "It seems so; at least that's what the treasure list states."
"That doesn't make sense." Harry glanced at Vivi and said, "I remember during my Sorting ceremony, I once pulled out Gryffindor's sword from the Sorting Hat, so why is there another one here?"
"It's obviously a fake," Vivi said to Harry, "Since it can be drawn from the Sorting Hat, it's clearly not a replica... So, it's evident that the sword in front of us can't be real."
"By the way," Ring said again, "There is another Hogwarts founder's relic here... Hufflepuff's Golden Cup, as it's written."
"Hufflepuff's Golden Cup?" Both of them showed an interested expression.
After all, it's a relic left by a Hogwarts founder; how could they not be interested?
Hufflepuff's Golden Cup was crafted by Helga Hufflepuff.
The cup has two finely crafted pure gold handles, with symbolic exquisite carvings on the body. It possesses magical and special magic.
It was once the first vessel in Hogwarts to assist house-elves in magically transporting food and was kept in Hufflepuff College until Helga Hufflepuff passed away.
"Let me check." Ring went through the list in order, matched it for a long time, and took out a golden cup from the piled treasures.
"Wait! Put it down quickly!" Vivi hurriedly shouted, "There's a Black Magic Curse on it!"
Ring belatedly put down the golden cup, looking confused at the cup, then at Vivi.
"Oh, I forgot to mention, Miss Grindelwald." Ring smiled and said to Vivi, "The glove I'm wearing can isolate the Black Magic Curse... This is an alchemy item crafted by Gringotts fairies, after all, Gringotts also serves Dark Wizards, and everyone knows what kind of things their vaults might hide, so our ancestors made a batch of gloves that can isolate the Black Magic Curse to prevent us from getting harmed unknowingly."
"So that's it..." Harry nodded knowingly.
He looked again at the golden cup, then glanced back at Vivi.
"Is there a Black Magic Curse on this?" he asked.
"It seems so, Harry," Vivi frowned as she looked at the golden cup, "There's very evil Black Magic on it..."
Suddenly, an idea flashed through Harry's mind, his killer instinct kicking in.
"Could it be Voldemort's Horcrux?!" he speculated.
"Highly possible," Vivi nodded seriously.
"Then I'll put it in my wallet first," Harry said to Vivi, "It's Hufflepuff's Golden Cup, after all; it'd be a shame if it got destroyed by Fiery Fire..."
"You're right," Vivi nodded, "After all, it's a relic from a Hogwarts founder, but isn't there a snake monster in your wallet? What if Voldemort's Horcrux seduces the snake monster?"
"Oh, that's true," Harry realized belatedly.
"Keep it with me." Vivi took out a small bag and placed Hufflepuff's Golden Cup into it.
After doing this, she said again, "Let's look around to see if there are any other of Voldemort's Horcruxes in the vault... I always feel things aren't that simple."
They compared the list in Ring's hands and searched the vault using Revelio, but didn't find another Horcrux.
"The cunning rabbit digs at least three burrows, Vivi."
After the fruitless search, Harry said to Vivi, "In my opinion, Voldemort is the craftiest rabbit; he wouldn't put all the eggs in one basket... Perhaps Marvolo Gaunt's ring is hidden somewhere else."
"Hmm," Vivi nodded, "Since there are no other Horcruxes in the vault, let's head back to the school first... Is there still some Polyjuice Potion left?"
"A little left," Harry asked puzzledly, "We've all returned; do we still need to use Polyjuice Potion?"
"Oh." Vivi touched her hair and said, "Of course, we do, we have to play our roles completely."
With that, she pushed Harry out of the Lestrange family's vault.
Ring hesitated a few times but seeing Vivi's sharp gaze, chose to swallow his words.
When leaving, they didn't need to pass through the Thief-Preventing Waterfall, and Harry and Vivi drank Polyjuice Potion on the cart, transforming back into the Lestranges.
They made their way to Gringotts' main hall, only to find the atmosphere was somewhat off.
"What's going on?" Harry asked as he stood up.
Who would have thought, Ring fled as if escaping.
Vivi got off the cart, smiling as she said to Harry, "To put on the perfect play, I had Ring press the alarm button—if nothing unexpected happened, there should be Aurors outside now."
As if in response to Vivi's words, a voice suddenly sounded outside.
"Fugitives inside! You are surrounded! I advise you to lay down your magic wands and surrender immediately!"
